Sinulog was traditionally known to be that if people attend the procession and dance to it and sing "Pit Senyor" it helps elevate their prayers. But today, it's more of a cultural celebration than a religious event. Religions always fascinate me despite my conflicted stance towards it. It's sort of a well-crafted adults book during that time that's equivalent to a children's book in today's age. I don't believe in miracles. The things people consider miracles are just coincidental chances, and some forms of miracles are created by humans. Someone's fate, or instances considered miracles by others are generally a human made phenomena to keep people believing in god. That's how society was created. It's like, if one is murdered, it's not god's doing. So why credit miracles to a non-existent entity? I believe that certain people are better than others. Some are smarter than others, while some are better looking than others. We're all unique, and that's a miracle enough. What you do with your life becomes your destiny. There's no such thing as miracle falling from heaven when it doesn't even exist in biblical terms. Figuratively, it could mean any way you want it.
