Cebu Pacific NEW Baggage Policy EXPLAINED! (DEC 01, 2021) | JM BANQUICIO

So helpful especially for those 1st time travelers. What to bring & can't..

Based on my experience, pwede ka magdala ng more than 1 hand carry IF ito ay kakasya sa ilalim ng upuan or essential baggage like medicine diaper gatas ng anak etc. Example: ang madalas kong dala kapag bumabyahe ay isang hiking backpack, isang bag na puro gadgets at isang slingbag. Inaallow yun kapag yung backpack mo ay maliit lang at pasok sa 7kg, tapos yung mga gadgets kasi such as laptop since hindi allowed sa checkin baggage inaallow nila na bitbitin mo together with other gadgets. Yung sling bag mo syenpre nakasuot sayo. In short, yung backpqck ko nasa overhead bin, yung gadgets nasa ilalim ng upuan at yung sling bag ko ay nakasuot sakin. Frequent traveller ako ng cebu pac at always ganyan setup ko wala naman problem.

Additional: With regards sa LAGs (liquids, aerosols, gels), yes, correct na passengers are allowed for 100ml only as carry on or hand carry on board. More than 100ml LAGs should be checked in. Kahit na unti lng yung liquid na laman ng bottle or lagayan mo pero yung label sa bottle ay more than 100ml, for example, 200ml spray bottle alcohol tapos laman ay half or 100ml na alcohol - NOT ALLOWED. Security will confiscate it. Plus I recommend all LAGs should be kept in a transparent reaselable bags para kpg chineck ng Security, hindi na hassle ilabas-labas. Kita na agad sa labas ng lagayan or pouch. Plus passenger's LAGs should fit one 1-quart size pouch or bag per person. Again, 1 bag per person. 😁

01. Baggage ✔ Baggages ❌ 02. Airport Baggage (20kg = P1000) is only applicable for passengers with no existing baggage allowance. Passengers with already an existing baggage allowance (20kg, 32kg, 40kg), passenger will already be charged per kilo (Excess Baggage). 03. If the flight of the passenger is still more than 4 hrs from departure, the passenger may purchase/upgrade baggage allowance online, which is a lot cheaper. 🙂👍 My opinion: This new baggage policy of Cebu Pacific is not "pangmasa". Most of their frequent flyers are those who can only afford an average size suitcase. 32kg = 1 bag? That is ridiculous! The airline is almost forcing the people to buy bigger suitcase to maximize the 32kg and 40kg for 2 bags. Because of this kind of policy, flying with Cebu Pacific will now actually be more expensive. If you fly with Air Asia or PAL Express, with 20kg you can check-in as many luggage as you want, provided you will not exceed the allowance.

Thanks for this informative video. Question lang po, when you put your small bag inside your hand carry luggage, would it be allowed na pde mo na sya ilabas when you're already in the passenger assembly area waiting for your boarding?

My first hand experience with this new policy was ridiculous. I had to pay 1000 pesos because i was carrying a laptop bag and my shoulder bag with my essentials. They told me if kasya yung laptop bag ko sa shoulder bag they won’t charge me, but because it won’t fit I had to pay instead. Grabe. My point is, pareho namang kasya un sa overhead bin eh. I don’t like their policy and might be my last option of airline from then on. Anyway, pls bring a big shoulder or ecobag pag mrmi kayong handcarry bags. I didn’t have any of it so yun. Hmm.

Hi JM nakakatuwa kasi nagreresponse ka talaga sa mga tanong. Ang bag sana nagagamitin ko for handcarry is yung pahaba na usually pang gym (nike) kaso bat kasi may sukat sukat na sila ngayon. Kailangan ba bagpack?

Nice video about sa baggage for passenger. Additional po dapat 2hour bago yung flight niyo nsa airport na at nakapag check in. Kase 1hours before departure po close na counter at kung late naman kyo dumating sa airport iiwan tlga yung bags niyo. Makakasakay kyo pero hindi ipapadala ng bags dahil close na ng counter dapat 2hours before your departure time. Naka pag check in na - Supervisor from Cebu pac.

Ako nakasakay na pero maliit pa ako noon kaya gusto malaman dahil mag byahe po kami palawan on july at lahat kami at ako parang firttimer na rin, baka aanga- anga kami sa airport. In the past they would not allow laptop and camera equipment in check in luggage along with lithium batteries for devices so its always hand carry and did not count towards the 7kg. Both almost always will be over 7kg so what is the surcharge for additional carry on? Do they allow pre-purchase of larger carry on allowances like some airlines. Previously I would usually purchase 40kg check in but DSLR camera/Lens and laptop would be between 10-13kg either in either 1 or 2 bags (A few times they needed me to split the heavy bag into 2 but always no issues taking in).

The other day Jan 4, 2022, I went to Cebu Pacific Office in Bangoy International Airport in Davao City and still, after making an inquiry, allowing me to have 3 baggage for 32.kilos. According to the staff, company memos regarding baggage guidelines will be issued last week of January 2022.

Very informative po ang video niyo. Thank you. 😊 I was so stressed po regarding hand carry if mag o-over and if pwede pa magdala ng small bag. What i did is I bought added baggage online, 20kls. Naisip ko po if hindi magkasya small bag ko sa carry on, that's P1k per trip. Nakatipid po ako ng almost P700 roundtrip sa baggage if ever mag over po ako and hindi payagan ang small bag ko. 😊

May I ask how is your experience with Cebu Pacific Airline? I read a lot bad experiences in the internet. Philippine Airlines is more expensive, but is the chance higher that it arrives on time? gaano po ka-strict ang cebpac sa hand carry backpacks? 1st time ko kasi magdadala nang hiking backpack plano ko kasi dun nalang kasi damit lang naman mga ilalagay ko at mukang hindi lalagpas yung weight load sa 7KG. ang specs nung bag na dala ko eh 75 x 34 x 32 cm (H x W x D). pero yan yung maximum nang bag kapag full load, pag hindi naman napuno siguro hindi aabot nang 75cm, strict ba sila na dapat talaga 56cm lang at susukatin pa nila? salamat
