Because of her I know the lyrics to the WWII songs It's A Long Way to Tipperary and We Are Going to Hang out the Washing on the Siegfried Line , and I sing them with the vets in Moncton.
Looked like a real decent high school, good friends, good teachers and of course great times! Super cool footage, blast from the past... I'm sure it was a fun town to grow up in. I'm actually looking to move and retire in Truro, leaving Ontario because it just isn't the same here anymore.
Rob, thanks for posting this! You and I were in the same year (1982 grads), and I recognise a lot of faces in these shots, even though we weren't in any of the same classes that year! 40 years ago - the hairstyles and clothes were so different. Male teachers in suits and ties! Chalkboards and overhead projectors, not a whiteboard or a computer in sight! Were you in first lunch hour that year? I spot Peter MacAloney at 4:17, in the 'mystery' class.
