I've been to Cedar Point many times, and this is completely accurate. One time I was riding the Gemini, and a steel beam came loose and nearly tore my nose off (old coaster, it happens). Thankfully once the ride was over, a kind employee rushed over to me and reminded me not to bleed out in front of other guests. Safety first!

As an Ohioan who has gone to Cedar Point at least once a year for my entire life, I support this video.

Somehow I didn’t anticipate Defunctland making a guest appearance in a theme park related video.

"Cleaning the park is a mandatory part of your duties, and it's important that our park stays clean so out ticket prices can stay high" sounded so much like a Roller Coaster Tycoon tutorial

It's actually hilarious how close parts of this are to the original training video.

Remember: if a kid isn't tall enough to ride and Karen says, "But they let him go on it before!" or "The manager said he could ride anyway" then it's okay to let them ride. Also if a guest asks you to ignore safety rules and says "It's okay, I won't sue." Then not only will something _definitely_ not go wrong but they really won't sue.

I am a former Cedar Point employee and I would like to know how you obtained this video? This breaks all safety protocol showing this to the general public and puts everyone at a disadvantage in the yearly off season war. Many people will now be buried in those blue and red rides uniforms, those yellow sweeperette uniforms, and those green and purple games uniforms!

As someone who has had the displeasure of going to Cedar Point, I’m shocked that there wasn’t a segment of the training video about how to ignore, mistreat and talk down to customers trying to buy tickets at the front gate.

The 'pay attention to the kids' part is actually in the Disney manual. We got credits for pointing out "sexy" kids to our manager. A lot of kids went missing in 1998. But that never left the park. What happened in Disney stayed in Disney.

The handicap part is sadly still alive and well. I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain and they decided to smash their flashpass line and ADA line together so even though I'm going to a different line I have to ask people to let me by so I can get to it. That went about as well as you'd expect.

As someone who used to be a ride operator at a themepark, this was the best thing I've ever seen. Pretty spot on with how close to the surface the "safety [not getting sued] is our first priority" thing runs through all of the training.

It's butts nuts how long you've been able to keep this gimmick fresh, finding new styles and jokes the entire way, and I'd say this is easily one of your best, next to the Inside Out one.

I think one of my favorite aspects of this whole thing is how dense the jokes are packed in to the whole video.

I didn't read the description before playing. Love the inclusion of Defunctland. Caught me off guard and laughed my ass off.

I remember one time my school's choir tried to get people onto a field trip to cedar point. I was sick when that day arrived (and I wasn't planning on going anyway) so I stayed home. It ended up raining the day they went and around 20 people got sick and they all described the park to me as "boring when without friends"

I’ve worked at one of cedar point’s amusement parks. 6/10 It mostly depends on how many employees are hired and their attitude. Unfortunately my team was mostly around the 16-18 age and their work effort wasn’t all their. But can’t blame them, they are only in high school Worked in food and beverage department and sadly the supervisors didn’t put more focus on safety but instead wanted more efficiency. Feel free treat this comment as a AMA

I worked at Carowinds recently (a sister park under Cedar Fair) and the orientation video they played for everyone was extremely similar to this one. Very outdated.
