its a funeral. Why are people worried so much about their appearance. Its not a fucking show, or a get together. Wearing all these flashy clothes and showing off is so disrespectful to the deceased because it takes away attention from the dead and draws attention to the wrong people. When will the west learn.

I think Cedric understood more than the other two that just because it's a homegoing/funeral you don't have to be "programmed" to cry. That's that "old-fashioned pre-conceived idea" about funerals. It's a celebration of life and if you don't do anything else, be encouraging to the family and those that have been left here on earth.

This is how I want my funeral! I don't want weeping and wailing! Celebrate my life! It's been a good life, a happy life, so laugh. Celebrate my love of humor, fun, and happiness. Don't be sad for a person who can no longer feel pain and sorrow. Celebrate them finding eternal peace and love.
The day after Bernie died, Ced and DL called in to the Steve Harvey Morning radio show and said a few words. Contrary to what this video showed, Ced seemed to be the most 'tore up' about Bernie's death. He damn near cried the whole time he was on the phone with Steve. Steve and DL were upset as well, but more composed than Ced. Losing a close friend/family member is never easy, and I think Ced gave an appropriate eulogy under the circumstances.
What u sound dumb Steve is bigger and has more money and more locked in with the Hollywood scene but Bernie Mac will always be a legend please stop comparing them vs each other 😢
That's the thing about funerals, you wanna laugh and cry and think of the good times you had with that person. Sometimes it's not all about feeling bad, you gotta make yourself feel good like that person never left you. R.I.P Bernie Mac 🙄😇

Cedric did it right! I Love his speech! Three thousand, " Moma, you ain't got to work no more"😂😂😂! Celebrate the Life! He was gone but he's Still the "Hottest ticket in town"!😂 When someone influence your life and they're not around " Physically" anymore- that's the purpose of life - Spiritual- They will forever live. The Human body can only survive for so long but the " Spirit" last Forever. My Mom was the" Female" Bernie Mac😁"Tell the Truth, Shame the Devil"! was her slogan. We all carry their spirits in our hearts, like a torch, pass it on to the others and our next generation. I feel the same way about my Mother. STILL make jokes about her. Some would say" I wouldn't say that" but as for me and my sister we do. We would clown almost everyday. It's what keep us going. My Dad even laugh. They were married 50 years. So we all know each other inside and out! Have to say too, Cedric speech keeps me going . Much love to Ced😘. He's so Humble. Bernie, Comedy will never be the same. When you look into this situation it’s real fishy people saying that Bernie was being showed things that he didn’t agree to and all of a sudden he past
I remember when I first heard he passed away I was in total shock he was one of my favorite comedians, and when I seen his last movie (Soul Men) I broke down instantly He will forever be missed RIP Bernie

The disease that finally took his life he hid from the general public quite well. I had absolutely no idea he was suffering from a debilitating disease for almost his entire life. Pisses me off when people die sooner than they should. Particularly someone who brought so much entertainment into people's lives. Rest in peace my man.
I think that all funerals should be talking about that person in a way that it's not sad memories of them and more than an obituary, fun stories if there are any and good, not sad music. People may still cry somewhat but, it shouldn't be too bad if it's a positive enough service. Steve really looked like he was struggling with Bernie's death.
Bernie is has a smile on his face and a wink... He came and did his thang, then went back home... Knowing who was true or not... Much love to Bernie...
Watched Bernie's entire show this weekend for the first time since he passed. It was the show when he thought Wanda and the kids forgot his birthday. I still can't believe he's gone. R.I.P. Bernie ♡
I just found out about his death last year. I don't live in the US and we still have reruns of his show and some of his movies. one day I was like how come there's nothing new from Bernie Mac and when I typed Bernie Mac on IMDB I found out he died 6 years ago. Such a shame, The "budussy" bit on Girls a couple of weeks ago reminded me of him...RIP
Dave chappelle explains everything in a interview he did about him going back to the mother land and turning down $35 million from Comedy Central. Cosby, Oprah, Minister Farrakhan and a few other people know what they've done and still do. I want to know what they did to Dave cause the brotha that came back from Africa is not the original Brotha that went there. Look at his body back then and now wtf kinda weight lifting program and diet is he on cause I need that my damn self. Just do some research people it's all there hidden in plain sight. Look at Gucci Mane as well. Not the same brotha that went to prison as the one who's there now.
I was there ..and this is how WE comics deal with something like this...one of my BEST friends passed away this year, and his family ASKED for me to come and be a bit of comic relief...
