This dude sold completely out! He started out being pro black and down for the cause and ended up selling out to the system. Another soulless brother that sold out for the fame..
ANYTIME A BLACKMAN PUTS A DRESS ON YOU ARE NOT BEUNG BOLD YOU ARE BEING DISRESOECTFUL!! MY MOTHER WEARS A DRESS, MY WIFE WEARS A DRESS, MY SISTER AND DAUGHTER WEARS A DRESS. AND THEY ALL LOOK BEAUTIFUL WITH THIER STYLE. WHEN ATTEMPT TO IMITATE THEM YOU ARE NOT BOLD BUT DISRESPECTFUL. THE REASON WHY MEN GET AWAY WITH THIS IN THE NAME OF ARTISTIC STYLE IS BECAUSE YOU LIVE YOUR OWN TRUTH WHICH IS A LIE. DOING EVERYTHING IN YOUR OWN EYES THAT PLEASES YOU, THIS MAKES A MAN FOOLISH NOT ARTISTIC.
@@Kingtruther Well that's one way of looking at it but him being in the game for a long time didn't have Nothing to do with that. Cee-Lo just like Thugg wanted to show the elite they're willing to bend to win.
@@BlackJohnnyCage i was referring to thug not ceelo. Thug been a known rapper since at least 2011 but didnt get public eyes till 14 around the dress shit cuz signing to gucci and rocko aint work lol.
@@Kingtruther Oh okay, I got ya. Man I remember Thug & Cash Out had that song out "I got it" Thug style was Cool, I use to be at the Mexican on Old Nat & see the youngins vibe to his music. You're right tho.
Definitely stopped paying bruh attention after he put on the dress. That shit is NEVER acceptable. Gangsta shit my ass. What part of the game is that!? It's not artistic it is SUSPECT!
Nah he agreed to terms of the industry they always try to manipulate words like we don’t have common sense him thug joc all signed massa’s agreement terms
Dumb shit! And like Cielo said.....ATL know him. If ppl outside REALLY knew how crazy Ceelo is and how he used that craziness to make a HIT song Crazy, they would understand. Now it was some bs with the dress on but....man Ceelo is a schizophrenic in real life! Ask ANYBODY! But he found out how to use it to make difference in his life. Kudos!!!
@@BigHack4ya yeah it shows in his work, the way the guest interact with him and most suprising is even in the RU-vid world where trolls are a majority and make it their business to spread hate everywhere I don't see B High Platform get too much hate which I'm glad because it just dont makes sense to do so!....
Ceelo is entitled to his opinion however that wedding dress was not gangster at all. It was buck breaking point blank. Keep up the great work B-high Radio Shawty.
the entertainment industry make blackmen put on dresses to show their down for the whiteman cause aka bowing down. only Blackman that made it without wearing a dress off the top of my head is Denzel
Ceelo brother, your stunt validated an unnatural connotation to our youth. Your example during your early years is what was bold! I'm sorry you fell short brother. Repent and come back home.
You can spin it however you want to spin it. The image is that of the emasculated black man... And his bars aint never really hit right after he did that shit.
@@skillz78 Just like the sitcom "Odd Couple" You can display two different types of personalities in a way to cause shock value. On clean and one messy and just stay in character. There PR reps to assist with that.
@David R the problem is that you your in and find out it's to late but it's levels to everyone and everything like this conversation lol 😆👍🏾🥊🔥 ok maybe I should use a different term 4 u then minions are in every organization faith walk of life and school of thought they taught you ya mamma and granny lol 😆👍🏾 so tell me what you are 1st we can start there 😶
@@shahawndonaldson9674 Right, & pants were not made 4 women 2 wear. No one is born sitting or standing while they pee. U think toilets & urinals are a product of nature? lol
He started off by saying (low key) that the yt folks that buy albums dont care. I bought EVERY album. I'm a black brother from the Midwest. But honestly, i didnt care about him wearing all the "edgy" ensembles I've seen him in. I put him in the Rockstar category way back when. I looked at him like our old greats. Rick James, Prince, Funkadelic, etc.
It makes sense cause the whole dungeon was on some different shit. You could tell they were competing for shock value. It’s still like damn a dress though? You couldn’t think of anything else
It's called selling your soul. The artist before relied on creativity to get ahead, Now It's all shock value and clout with the exception of some artists like Kendrick J Cole etc...
people are willing to accept a man wearing a dress and its good to accept people for who they are but when you consider the history leading up to this point it’s obvious that it would hurt people’s soul to feel anymore embarrassed than they have been and the attack on black men in history is evident. people should be going out of their way to celebrate black masculinity just like they should in the ways black feminism needs to be supported. if you can’t see that vision then you’re selfish
Emasculinety is something that thrives in the industry CeeLo a proven poet and singer could've done something else within reason to get promotion for his album
That was just part of the conditions to his contract with his handlers. It's part of his initiation. He did waaaay worse than this to get a record deal, trust me.
Selling out is about selling your soul or "the real you", to achieve more. Usually achieve more money and/or success. CeeLo has always been the most eccentric artist out of the Dungeon Family. It's impossible to label him just as such or such. The fact is that most people are so afraid of being judged by their family, friends and locals, that they're never truly themselves. They're just as much themselves as they're comfortable being, CeeLo got more and more confident on letting out his freaky sides, because he could afford it. Most people will have too much to lose, so they don't. I don't really get what makes this about being a sellout. More like an experiment. People are in reality more afraid of becoming associated with a cross dresser, than the cross dressing itself. The easiest way around it is to blame CeeLo for being a sellout. I mean, I could find a million other reasons before the dress, that is way more "sellout" when it comes to choices made. Not that I blame him for it. But his third solo album was way too safe imo. It had one song with the word "fuck" in it. Other than that, it had literally nothing that sounded daring. The overall sound was pleasant, and it was his most cohesive solo effort at the time, if not counting the Gnarls Barkly project. But being as I was used to CeeLo taking chances, and taking listeners in untested territories, I was always in awe, even if the song itself wasn't his best. I felt stuff I had never felt. To me, he was like the new Prince. So different in many ways, and yet so alike when it came to mixing genres and daring to be something else, telling stories with different emotions etc. But on that project, he was always playing it safe. Great background music, though.
Yep figured the gnarled barkley thing was to get his music back out there. And the dress was just to add shock factor and make people talk. Crazy it was offs rock paper scissors game 😂
