It is my understanding that these pumps will pump up to 18 inch vertically. is this not true. Also cant you simply install a 1/2 pound spring check valve to help stop the water from returning? Nice video. thank you.
From my expriance this problem watr bck flow when power cut off or wter level bck to normal. Wtr back flow when gradiance pipe not properly during installation. As we know watr pam can pump out the watr almost 1 feet. From outlet high pipe atleast steet 1 feet n gradian to low position. Wate wil bck flow pipe postion same level. Water supposed flow hi to low. If water can flow one problem will coming soon cloged.. gely strt build up..coz watter flow slow. From my experiance. Pipe taping from others unit. Caution from this.. size pipe.. main out let if than 2unit. Just sharing info
Thank for your sharing. In this case because of installation problem. They installed drain in pipe with sloop back to the unit. So when power cut off. Drain pump not work. Drain pan can't receive too much water back flow from pipe. So water drop to floor.
This model use AC 220V power supply. You need to check the specifications of the product before you apply power supply. Difference model different power supply. Other pump may use DC voltage.
