Good explanation given by u sir. One small correction is to be made i.e. while connecting the capacitor with start a d run, u hv informed that starting coil wire connected to capacitor to be inserted in phase line of the connector. But only the running coil wire with capacitor connection should be connected to phase terminal and common wire in neutral. Please don't give starting coil wire with capacitor connection in phase line terminal of connector. It should be connected in the dummy whole of the connector. Because starting coil is only for starting the fan and after that running winfibv takes care. Just for correction please. In short capacitor wire with running coil wire in phase, common wire in neutral and starting coil wire with capacitor connection in the dummy hole of the connector. This is the correct method. Otherwise, fan coil will get heated and may give trouble in few days. after
If the motor is Permanent Capacitor run motor than we give Power supply to running wire or starting wire, in both condition the two wire will get phase supply always So In ceiling fan & table fan we can give power supply to any of the wire But if you are using capacitor start motor ( means if there is centrifugal switch in motor ) than you have to give power supply to running wire only

sir ,a bit of confusion, usually the running coil has more winding then the starting coil ,therefore its resistance will be also high, please correct me if i am wrong .

I have a fan . In which resistance between Red -- blue. 275. Red -- yellow 277 and yellow-- blue. 554 now. Comn is Red and running wire ( phase) is blue or yellow. Pls tell me.

The starting winding is wound with fewer turns of thin wire than the running winding, so it has higher resistance. The running winding is wound with large turns of thick wire than the starting winding, so it has lower resistance.
Phase wire should be connected on running otherwise fan will run Opposite side .don, t give wrong information it will give a heavy loss to the new commers.
