Alright all ceiling fan lovers, the time you've been waiting for is finally here! :D A RU-vid video of showing all the ceiling fans in my house running on all 3 speeds (and turning the light-kit on (especially for low and high speeds) for those who are interested of seeing that). :D The brands (installed) including Encon, Sierra, Seagull Lighting, Heritage, and two Hampton Bays. The Encon (from late 80's) and Sierra fans (from around mid-to-late 80's) are Original to this house (and we moved here in 2002 which was 10 years ago now), and the Hampton Bay fans were bought in late 2000's and the the Seagull Lighting and Heritage fans were bought in the early 2010's.
Video is filmed 7/25/2012, using my black'n'red Nikon camera.

Just so you guys know though, I've seen more comments posted on this video saying that the white Landmark fan is really noisy in general for quite a bit of a long time now. But at the time the white fan was bought at Home Depot (back in the late 2000's), my parents didn't know much about fans being pretty noisy (and neither do I at that time), they bought it because the vents and blade-arms of that fan were pretty similar to the Encon Monarch (one that died out before the white fan being put in there). And at the time I took this video, I just think it was a pretty neat idea to do a video to show'em all running before taking it down (to see what it looks like to contribute with all the other fans in a house like this).

Going back to this video is so nostalgic, I remember watching it around 8 years ago, and was very heavily inspired on this video and this video was also the reason I got into ceiling fan content creation and ceiling fan collecting, so thank you for making this awesome nostalgic and legendary video!

My toddler loves watching this video while feeding. We favorited this video a long time ago. He's learned words like 'on, off, fan' in our language by watching actions in this video like switching the fan off and on. Great video.

This video brings back so many memories. It is one of the first ceiling fan videos that I’ve EVER watched and I used to watch it everyday! I used to love the encon monarch because of its cool pretzel brackets and color. And for me to actually talk to the person who made my childhood video is absolutely unreal! Thanks for the memories man! You rock!

I remembered a long time ago when I was like 13 (or so), I think I started discovering a bit of ceiling fan videos here on RU-vid, and I think that video that's called My Ceiling Fan Collection from YT user fordescortboy91, I think that was the first ceiling fan vid I ever watched (that one along with Random Vids of my fan collection from Brian Hicks). I haven't gotten attached to watch more fan videos on RU-vid any often enough until the rest of 2010 (in case your ever wondering on that), which is also where I discovered videos from Cole S. (Vintage Fans & More), Zachary Yarnes & probably Jean2291 as well.

No, it's on a fan switch (if you hear the noise really carefully at part 1:38 in this video, you'll know that it does not sound like a dimmer control turned on), it's just that the motor housing just vibrates. And I'm glad you enjoyed my video. :D

My dad and I took it down (to put up the Encon Monarch fan) about a day or two later after I took this video. And then about 3 years later after that, I replaced that with the Seagull Lighting fan in there.

I'm so jealous... I don't have the privilege of owning any ceiling fans. The closest I come is the one at my grandma's house (which we're selling). These are all beautiful, strong, and healthy fans. I am a huge ceiling fan fan xD and enthusiast, and this video was great. xD by the way windmills are vertical ceiling fans.

Looks great, and with a brighter bulb installed that’s all the light you need. ru-vid.comUgkxWF88GpljEn-0o34vtLFazEQ5h5Q33SjU As far as ease of installation- this was my first ceiling fan and it took about 3 hours because I had no idea what I was doing and also it’s helpful to have a second set of hands and a magnetic drill bit. Works great.

Trust me, the Landmark fan has been replaced with the fan that looks like the one at the beginning (which was last Summer), and I've got no ceiling fans that are controlled by a remote.

Yeah, your welcome. There's obviously a literal TON of ceiling fan vids on RU-vid for like maybe several years now. My friend Cole on RU-vid (known as Vintage Fans & More) did a video where he had lots of ceiling fans in a garage of his old home (a very long time ago now), and now currently, he's got like around 30 ceiling fans in a big basement of his new apartment home!
