Thanks, Stev for this update on the cel fi go I literally just ordered mine yesterday being Sunday and currently binging on the RU-vidrs that I've missed out on since I've been away. thanks, Mate 👍
I had one got rid of it, They are garbage especially in remote place it's rubbish. There is lots of places were you travel along bitumen road in Australia were you simply got no mobile signal. If you happen to break down and be in a area with no mobile signal your stuffed and there is lots of places like that, it's useless device for minimal boost. At the end of the day you can't beat a Sat Phone..
I’ve been researching this product for a while most are very impressed. I have a couple of questions, do you leave it in auto mode or switch between 3G &4g ? How far from the car does it boost roughly?thanks in advance
I leave it on auto and we normally can sit around the car or in your camper trailer and still get a reasonable amount of boost depending on how strong the signal is I have the aerial set up higher on the roof for the FJ You really do have to make sure you set it up as per the instructions to get the best signal cheers hope this helps out
@@Sawadventures67 Thanks for your reply I think I worked it out if I connect Bluetooth to my wife’s phone and she’s on the Telstra boost I think it’ll work
I noticed you are just running the cables in through the back door which is what I am planning on doing, does that cause any problems with the cables? have you bought stronger cables to handle to the door compressing them?
No trouble at all. Haven’t even put a mark on them. There’s quite a bit of room in between the door pillar and the door just cable tied them all together
To be honest with you I don’t really know because I don’t have never heard of a netgear Nighthawk But the ceilfi go Is fantastic as long as you have some sort of mobile signal I will definitely check out if I find anything out I’ll let you know cheers
