Then he should stop acting if he can't take a joke at award shows, OR be able to answer basic, respectful questions for promoting a movie. I respected him till I saw how he reacted at awards recently. If he's too old and tired..he should retire, or not do any interviews
It's amazing Steve O is clean. I remember he used to be so funny and then few years later it was just pathetic that he wasn't even conscious during filming of last Jackass movie I saw him in. There was nothing to edit....he was just wasted out of his mind and didn't even care to perform anymore. He just didn't give a damn. Good for him he made it out alive.
Steve-O is one of the most repulsive individuals out there. How he's made it this far is incredible. 😂🤣 I love how he thinks he's even remotely easy on the eyes. He is one of the ugliest males I have ever seen! LMAO ;)
Bittersweet You...Dunno if you're boy or girl, but as for Steve O (In my Wendy Williams voice) He could get it! I've always thought he was cute wirh that big gorgeous smile. Stop it, I say!
keva kinsler All of the Jackass crew really. I'm from that era too and remember staying up late to watch it with my older sister on MTV and the bigger they got and more fame, the worse they got with functioning without drugs or booze. Really sad. It was like they couldn't do any of it without being fried out of their minds. Bam still hasn't gotten straight, especially after Dunn passed.
wait what, all his questions were cinema related, he even asked about going back in time, if you didn't know MIB3 literally involved a time travel plot, and who wouldn't want to answer a question of about which character they admire the most, Tommy acted like a juvenile what an absolute dick. I feel bad about the interviewer they get shit regardless.
he showed up. he's just not hiding he isn't enjoying any of it. i cringe watching this and remember back in the 80s when someone made raquel welch walk off an interview disgusted; she had just lost a baby too.
I thought that the questions for tommy Lee Jones were actually pretty good. Usually celebs get questions like: where do you buy your underwear, etc. But being asked about your roles, how you identify etc. sounds perfectly normal to me.
Yeah, I've heard those press junkets are horrible for both the actors and interviewers, it's non stop short interviews with the same questions over and over again all day, but the actors gotta sell the movie and reporters gotta sell a story. You'd think the actors might find it refreshing when someone tries to actually ask them something different, but that didn't seem to be the case with Jones.
Yes, you are right. I was exaggerating the fact that some of the interviews I have seen in the past were way too personal for my gusto. That's why it was so refreshing to see the guy asking Tommy Lee Jones about how he identifies with his characters and which character he would like to be, if he had a choice. It is actually a very brilliant way of getting "some" personal information about the celebrity without hitting them full frontal. If I were Tommy Lee Jones, I would have had a field day answering the questions....: "If I had a choice, I would like to be agent K, because I love wearing a nice suit, having contact with extraterrestrial life forms and I can further cruise around with Will Smith all day every day.... ." :-D Done, next question, please. :-D
I’m so happy Steve-O is clean now. I remember towards the end of his addiction he was so hammered he could barely function in any of the jackass movies... good for him, I hope he stays clean 🙃
ajh90210 - Yeah, all of those 400 year-old slaves chose to be enslaved for 400 years. SMH And you have no idea what it was like to be born into that brutal system. Yet and still, there were runaways and revolts. But they paid a very high price when caught.
Kanye was tactless, and his follow up made more sense to his point, whereas Van is just doing obligation banner speaking. The issue is more complex than either of them, and tmz isn't formatted to dedicating time to overwhelming social issues.
That wrestler slaps the interviewer TWICE and no one in the background even flinches or moves at all let alone tries to intervene or help him. They all just stay slumped against the wall gazing lazily at them! OK he’s a big guy so I can understand you’d be wary of jumping in but you’d think someone would at least SAY something?! Like “Hey come on man, take it easy, leave him now big fella, he’s had enough..”. That sort of thing. Zero. I’m guessing he wasn’t terribly popular!
looks like tommy lee jones prior to the interview was just soul searching and realized he doesnt want to die lolz way to serious for that interview atm :P
well you only get this kind of money for being slapped in America, and if you end in the hospital there, you would probably end up paying more than that :P
- Look up the Interview of John "Johnny Rotten" Lydon where he attempts to introduce his new band PIL but instead is shown footage of people in the street being asked if they think he's a sell out. Lydon, realizing that that was the intention from the start states that he wants nothing to do with it and storms out before bass player Jah Wobble brings forth the longest censorship beep ever to be broadcasted on TV. - Or that interview with Paul Simon about his album "Hearts and bones" which was going to be a reunion album with Art Garfunkel. The recording sessions went awry and the album came out as a Paul Simon solo album. The reporter had the nerve to ask him if he thought the album would have sold better if Garfunkel had remained part of the project. You see Simon go wide eyed, his whole body tenses and he breaks out in a sweat, awkwardly trying to hide his face and hide how extremely PISSED OFF he was from getting that question.
@@crabsackmccringle1687 exactly i had a good lawyer and nightmares i knew nothing about till an hour before court worked a dream excuse the pun and i was awarded £54,000
Moral of the story dont tell a juiced up pro wrestler that you think what he destroys his body for is fake. I'm guessing he never asked that question again.
GTA V Movies wwe and stuff is fake. There's a lot of matches faked. They fight for real but the ending is pre decided. Wwe is just fake in general. They admit so it's all good. Anyways, the wrestlers are paid to lose. By telling them to lay down or pretend to be knocked out for a few hundred grand, depending on the prize money
Tommy Lee Jones was just answering truthfully. It's just a freakin job- you do it to the best of your ability, go home and enjoy the money. Those who pretend it's something more are either lying or need therapy...
Anyone else notice that the interviewer of Billie Bob Thornton was Jian Ghomeshi, the fired CBC broadcaster charged with choking and sexually assaulting several women? Charges were later dropped in 2016 but the damage to his career was irreparable.
The US didnt have slavery for 400 years...what kanye meant was that there are people today who act like they are oppressed and that's something they choose
He was referring to mental slavery, and the choice of the slaves to continue to obey their masters out of fear when they could easily overturn the tyrant. Just like current day prisons, they could so easily be overrun but the prisoners don't out of fear.
Basically no.one of these celebrities have acted sane during their career. To see Steve-O flipping out is no surprise(A bit surprising cause his dad is/was the head of Goldman Sachs South America branch, rich as hell) but to see those old-timers acting EXACTLY as grumpy and failed as their movie characters says they're not doing roles, they are themselves. That's why we always see them in the same roles. They revel in "being" their characters, even in all interviews.
The whole interview with Steve-O is nutty. At one point he stares deeply at Adam Spit Lips and says '...I could just strangle you.' A thought we've all had even in sobriety.
Nive Ashok if you want a great laugh, go to the TRY channel and watch “irish people watch Kanye West “. It is about that interview and some insane song he released. I cried I laughed so hard
Remember don't tell a wrestler that wrestling is fake because they still have to take all those hits and blows in the ring and they do sometimes get serious injuries so don't tell a wrestler that wrestling is fake!
Yeah but a $425,000 settlement!? Where does this Dr.D Shultz character live? I'd like to walk up to him with a camera crew and tell him I think wrestling is a bunch of fake-ass bullsh*t!
You would think what makes an interviewer professional, they stick to the current events going on in a celebrity's life and don't open up old wounds bringing up shit from the past.
Hold on, hold on, HOLD ON! Have I just seen Billy Bob Thornton refer to a certain nationality of fans as ‘mash potatoes with no gravy’. Holy shit. I mean I’d say the music equivalent to mash potatoes with no gravy is his band (whatever they’re called) but I don’t even think they’re good enough to be mash potatoes.
Geronimo Indian Being real, as in being a follower and running for President to sustain his ego, while simultaneously believing slavery was a choice when blacks were stolen from their homeland...yeah, a lot of choice there
What most people forget is that many times, especially in a talk show format, the celebrities know in advance many of the questions they will be asked. Like to have a funny story ready to share, etc. That was clearly needed with the Tommy Lee Jones questions, as they were fairly deep and esoteric at best, and stupid at worst. To be asked for a thoughtful response to numerous questions about all the characters he's played, any answer he gave on the spot was likely to be off the cuff and the first thing he could think of and probably not very sincere.
I'm with Billy Bob on this. Whether or not the host was aware, it was agreed upon beforehand that only the music would be discussed and not his acting career. In this moment BB was not an actor but a musician.
@@xmikeox you're blocking my replies to this, or RU-vid is. Scared? Gonna add this...you will always be a slave in some capacity. Cling to it, it benefits you and you don't have to be brave or selfless or intelligent.
They are now censoring my responses. Three of them . Well hell, here it comes. Watch out, can I call you brother patriot? They have definitely deleted me, so I won't bother you again . Here it is!
His "experiment with free thought." You can tell the writers are liberal, lol. Ranks right up there with the DNC's "The government is the one thing we all belong to."
I don't think Tommy should be on the list. He is straight forward. I respect that he doesn't give a long winded metaphorical answer to a question that's as generic as the process of interviewing.
1:06 If you are "unbelievably hurt" by anything any celebrity has to say, it's on you. Celebrities are there to entertain not tell us how to think, feel or behave.
