My favourite genre of music. Seen Public Enemy (twice), LL Cool J, Eric B and Rakim, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, The Cookie Crew, Derek B (RIP), Grandmaster Flash and used to frequent the DMC world mixing championships. Can't believe it's 50 years old, as important as rock and roll to music history in my view.

Never was massively into hip hop myself, but I do like listening to it from time to time, especially stuff from the 90's and early 2000's. It's cool to see how it went from mostly being an underground thing to going worldwide
