These women are so inspiring! I want to be a race engineer when I am older so knowing that these guys have been able to do it gives me confidence that I can
Probably the only F1 team killing it on the track, with arguably the best drivers and off the track with their social media and using it in right ways. Mercedes for the win💙
My daughter is 8yrs old, and she loves making things or seeing how they work. I will be showing her this video. Mercedes, you need to be more vocal, these engineers are an inspiration.
I really hope this video inspires other women to go into engineering someday. Who knows, someone watching this could be part of a winning Formula 1 team within a decade...
So many people in this field came to it through hill climbs and track visits as kids. Parents take heed. If you capture their imagination early enough, math/science classes won't seem like drudgery, but a means to an end. Would be great to see more visiting ambassadors from the sport lecturing to first-year engineering students, particularly in places like the US, where F1 is not on most students' radar. Not only would it inspire, it might increase our fanbase. Emma, with all those ribbons in show jumping, you must have been competing with guys all your life. Competition is easy; it's the collaboration that gets tricky! (On second thought, maybe not at Merc.)
I was hoping Kim Stevens would be in this. It was so awesome when she got to collect the Constructor's trophy at Abu Dhabi 2015. Congrats to all the female engineers though and to the team for putting this video out.
Every effort of contribution is exceeding the trajectory of achieving success epitomises the objective & integral importance of the eminent impact of the skills & learning that can be utilised for inspiring everyone! 🙌 🔥
I so love this team; Talented engineers (female/male), the best team principle and and top drivers. Cannot wait for the season to finally get underway #TheBestTeam #TeamLH
It's obvious that you need more diversity on the team as a whole but there's a lovely Black young lady with glasses, who is part of the race team crew and stood in, receiving the Constructors trophy, during Lewis' podium victory celebration in Austria. It was brilliant to see and a huge fan of hers when she's waiting for LH to come over and greet the crew after a victory. Who is she, what's her title and where's she from?
is there any chance for civil engineer student, for join in f1 buisness? i really want to know, 'cause i've just think that will be interesting, thank u ❤
I’m just about to go into A-levels and I’ve wanted to be an engineer for Mercedes F1 for years. I hope I can inspire young girls like these women are some day. Thanks for the motivation 😊
Amber sounds like the Marisa Tomei character in My Cousin Vinny, when she's on the stand and describes how her entire family was involved in auto mechanics. Impressive group of Technicians. Kudos
I doubt you'll get an answer here but in case you're serious. Marc Priestley is an ex f1 engineer from the uk with a yt channel and he talks about how he got to F1 sometimes. I recommend taking a look at his ask Elvis series. I remember he went really deep into how he got into McLaren in one video but can't remember which one tho. But either way I recommend his channel. He's a sincere guy that's cozy to watch.
It's a shame there's so little viewership on this amazing video. Hopefully in time, many of our preconceived notions disappear and we begin to judge people on their character/abilities and not their sex, religion or ethnicity.
woman engineering is this new science branch ? or it is casual "oh my, woman can do that or that"... woman can do whatever they want, simply only couple want to be an engineer, is it difficult to understand ????
Hello and welcome to this very special chat, as we celebrate 'International Let's inject estrogen into this last bastion of manliness'. Farewell Formula 1 you are sorely missed.
