Yo I’m glad you commented, I’m a newbie at this myself it’s my first time backpacking but I’ll tell you this, don’t be afraid it will probably be the best decision you made by just doing what you really want, I personally spend between £20/30 a day sometimes less than that but there’s times when you want to see places or do some activities you’ll spend a little more, it all depends on you as a person I know people who come to Thailand with 2/3k and spend that in a month and others spend the same amount in 3/4 months, I personally think you should save up some money and go don’t let others scare you with their stories and don’t let your mind scare you also, it’s a wonderful experience travelling. My next destination after Thailand is probably Malaysia. 🇲🇾 🤝
