Dearest Stefanie, CONGRATULATIONS!!!🎉🍾🎊 I am so very proud of you! All your hard work, love and dedication to your channel, your love of nail polish and art, and your subscribers has paid off! Over 2,000 subscribers in only one year is quite an accomplishment and is certainly an indication of being your “authentic self” in a spectacular fashion! You have been genuine and true to yourself, your subscribers and your craft and it shows in your numbers and all the many consistently lovely comments week after week your content receives. This accomplishment is all the more amazing when you consider the very difficult emotional situation you were dealing with only the year prior to this last year of your life. This makes me doubly proud of your many accomplishments in this past year! I love your channel, all your content, your faithfulness to your love of polish, (which is definitely not silly!) your faithfulness to your subscribers and you did all this while being your authentic self! I love who you are most of all! You consistently show forth your charm, devotion, humor, kindness, sincerity, honesty, love, sweetness and knowledge. You should take all these wonderful, sincere comments and compliments here to heart and be truly proud of all you have accomplished in the past year! I love your gradient and think it is so typical of you that you would chose to do it in your channel colors! Your attention to details in your content is what sets you apart from other content creators. Take some time to bask in this moment and be pleased with yourself and your efforts. You deserve it! As for keeping your privacy intact as you discussed your personal struggles- it is your right and wise of you. You don’t owe it to us to share anything you prefer not to reveal. It is appropriate to keep your personal life private while using only headlines to tell your fans that you have had some severe struggles recently but are now in a much better place for which I am most happy to hear. Congratulations for that achievement above everything else you have accomplished! It takes great personal strength to change circumstances in your life that are pulling you down and under. You are to be commended for making the necessary changes in your life to bring about a life worth living; a life that brings about your authentic self. I am most proud of you for this! God bless you now and in the coming years of your life and your channel, Stefanie! Much love to you! Keep up the great work! Well done!🎉🤗♥️😘🌹💅🏻🎊
😭😭😭 Susan THANK YOUU for the sweetest comment ever!! somehow your comments are always sweeter than the last, this one made me cry lol 🥹 I cannot thank you enough for your consistent support over this past year, your kindness is heartwarming and just so palpable and comforting 💓 thank you for being here & for seeing me as I show up. and thank you for understanding my apprehension about sharing more of my struggles at the end lol 😅 I do feel grateful about feeling safe enough to do so if I chose, I think I just have a hard time articulating it all. but maybe one day, as I would hate to just appear to be happy go lucky, sharing only the good things all the time (though I suppose theres nothing wrong with that either), either way, I just appreciate you being here from the bottom of my heart Susan 💗🥹🥰💗
Congratulations on 1 year on YT! I'm so glad you got to a place to be comfortable doing videos. We are all richer for it. I always look forward to your reviews.
I can’t believe it’s been only a year ! Congrats on the 2k, you seriously deserve it ! I’m so happy you decided to create such a calming and unique space within the nail community. Without a doubt, your videos are the ones I look forward to the most. Whether it be swatching or a tutorial, I think I could watch anything you produce ☺️ The personality you add into your videos always makes me look forward to your uploads. I even go back and rewatch your videos just because I like them so much. 🙈 I’m proud of you for stepping into a place that would help you work through your own mental setbacks, it brought this beautiful little spot on the internet to life ❤ I look forward to what you bring in the future!
Congrats! RU-vid happened to recommend your channel to me. I love your attitude and the comfy "at home" vibes. I love seeing more experiences with polish releases, and I especially love your comparisons (so helpful!). I also had the happy, coincidental discovery that I had already saved some images of your nail art before finding you here. You're so good at nail art! So the nail art tutorial video you recently released was awesome. Looking forward to more of your content, but in any case, thank you for what you've already shared with us. Glad to hear you're in a happier place and I hope things only get better for you.
thank you so much!! I really appreciate that :) 💗 and yay what a fun coincidence lol! yeah for a while my IG was like pure nail art and the swatches were over here, but I want to have a mix of both regardless of the platform! I’m already working on another nail art video too so I hope you’ll love that one :) and thank you so much for your sweet words, they really mean the most 🥹💗
Congratulations on your 1 year RU-vid "aversary"! I love the gradient!! It's beautiful!! And you should pat yourself on the back!!!! Good job, Stephanie! You go, Gurrrlllll, keep doing what you're doing cause we love what you're doing!!!!!
Happy anniversary! I was so happy to find you on RU-vid because I love all of your nail ideas on instagram, I think half of my saved ideas are yours. I’m so glad you took the time to care for and show up for yourself, you seem like such a lovely person and it’s just really nice to get to spend some time with you thinking about nail polish here. 💖
Congrats on 1 year!🎉🎉🎉 Happy anniversary! Yours is one of my most favorite nail polish channels! I’m always looking forward to your videos! They are so cozy and relaxing😊 As for feedback, since you asked:) Setting the right white balance for your lighting situation on your camera would help you make the quality of your videos even better and not let the image jump from warm to cool to warm when tilting your nail:)
thank you so much!! that means a lot :) and thank you for that feedback! that’s bothered me too lol I film using my iphone and I haven’t figured a way to lock in the setting - it’ll be locked on my nail but then still jump when my other hand comes into frame to paint it. do you have any tips for that, or is it something to edit in post? thank you!! 💕
Congrats to you, for all your accomplishments! I think most of us can appreciate the peaks and valleys of life, especially those of us who have made a lot of trips around the sun 😂 I’m happy you’re in a much better place, that’s wonderful, and I really enjoy your content! So nice to talk to you about this passion we all share that makes life more fun 🥳 Keep smiling and stay faithful, God never will abandon us. 😊❤️
Congrats! I've really enjoyed your content of this first year. Your reviews are honest and thorough and I always look forward to your seasonal favorites videos. I am glad that you are in a much better place now and can be creative in the way you want to be. Keep up the good work!
What a beautiful gradient! I have yet to try a gradient manicure, I somehow make it up in my mind to be so difficult, but you make it look kinda easy 😊 Congrats on 1 year on YT! You're one of my favorites in this community, there's something so calming about your presence and I appreciate your honest opinion! Looking forward to future videos 😊
thank you soo much Patricia!! you really need try one yourself, it might be a little messy but sooo worth it! 😍 & thank you! I appreciate you being here so much 🥹💗
Only one year and 2K subs! Wow, that's amazing.... But you deserve it. I only recently subbed but that's bc of the quality of your content. You are very personable and your nails, swatching, etc are beautiful. There are MANY polish/nail/swatch RU-vid channels out there, and you are right up there with the best. Congrats! ❤🎉
AHH thank you!! I really appreciate that so so much 🥹 I know there’s room for everyone on this platform but I have definitely gotten in my head about “not being good enough” 🙈 i’m honored you think my content is up there with the best! 🤗
Happy anniversary, this tutorial was a great idea to celebrate your year on RU-vid! It's very heartwarming to hear you're in a better place, mentally and physically since the opposite can really suck the life out of you. You're doing great with your platform, keep it up!
Wow wow, congrats on the one year mark! That seems so recent for your videos to be so polished and consistent 😮! Love the mani, there is just something so eternally fabulous about a good gradient…!
Happy anniversary! I am new to the nail world as of a few months ago and I learned so much from your channel alone. I would love to see you continue your nail art tutorials on this channel in the future because they are the cutest and your instructions make it doable (with some practice 😅).
thank you so much!! that means a lot :) and yess! I’m already working on another nail art video for the coming weeks and hope to just do more this year, I appreciate the feedback and encouragement to continue with those! it makes me soo happy seeing other people try nail art 🥰
Happy anniversary! And congrats on 2.1 K subs! I find your channel really calm and grounded in the super-hyped nail polish world. I wish you continued success.
Happy Anniversary! I think it’s wonderful that you’ve shown up for yourself this year, I think that’s inspiring for the rest of us 💕 I like watching your channel because you come across as genuine and also because you do a good job showing me what nail polishes are really like so I can decide whether or not to buy them. I find your comparisons particularly helpful. Thank you for being you and sharing yourself and your talents with us. 🙏🏽❤️
Congrats to you!!! I just recently found you and I think your content is great, especially love the time you put into comparisons! I started to get into polish quite heavily back in 2012-13 when my anxiety was at an all time peak..it realllllly helped me cope. You'll find there are so many of us in the community with similar stories of how nail polish and the community have helped us so there's definitely nothing silly about it ;) Glad you are in a better space now!! I find you come off very warm and sweet, a wonderful energy
thank you soo much Corri!! 🥹 I really appreciate that. and absolutely!! while I was in a good headspace when I first started with nails, it’s definitely been an anchor during the low times. i’m glad this hobby has been therapeutic to so many of us, you’re right its not silly at all :) thank you for your sweet comment!! 💞
Congratulations on 2K and the anniversary!! I love watching your videos, and your skin tone, nail shape and lengths are very similar to mine so I love that extra much haha. I'm also glad to hear you are feeling better!! ❤
Congrats on your Anni! 💖🎉👏🏻 I just adore you and LOVE your channel! I love this tutorial! So so dreamy! Out of curiosity what is your go to topcoat and basecoat?
thank you Janet!! your support means so, so much to me & I genuinely appreciate you more than you know 💕 I’m working on a fave base & top coats video, but usually for long wear manis I love ILNP’s Lockup Base coat! and for top coats I’d probably say Mooncat’s Speed Demon :)
@@PolishedYogi You are just the sweetest! 💕 I still have not tried the ILNP topcoat. I have some, but I am working my way through trying different ones. I have tried HT, Mooncat, Polished For Days, Glisten & Glow, Cuticula, Dear Sundays, Orly Polishield, and Essie Gel Setter. My tops out of those are G&G, then Mooncat, then Cuticula. And for smoothing bases I have tried HT, Mooncat, and Dear Sundays… and for me the best is Mooncat.
Happy Anniversary and congratulations to 2000 subscribers 💖!!! It is well deserved dear Stefanie, I see the amount of care, work and time in each of your videos. I love your authenticity, your ethic and your openness - you have all the reasons to be proud of yourself, I am so excited to see your future journey and to be part of this community 💜💖💜
thank you so so much Christine!! 🥰💗 your words truly mean so much, they made me tear up lol 🥹 i’m so incredibly grateful for your support! thank you for being here 🤗
Congrats (again) on one year of RU-vid, Stefanie!! 🎂 Your channel is such a wonderful, chill place to experience, and I've loved getting to chat with you here! You are such a wonderful and fun person to interact with, and I am happy you found the courage to start this channel & that you are in a better place now, mentally 🥲❤ looking forward to what more you create! ~ nt_nailedit 😊
Happy Anniversary!!! I followed you from IG since I really enjoyed your content. And I’m glad I stayed on YT! Your attitude is awesome and please keep up the good work! :)
Belated congratulations on your RU-vid anniversary!!!! Your videos are always so good, I honestly have no critiques. Thanks for being awesome! Also looking forward to a Leo nail polish video, assuming it’s coming 😉😁
Happy Anniversary!!! Not silly at all. I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into each video. So glad I discovered your channel! 💗 And the gradient is so beautiful! I haven't had a successful gradient yet but this motivated me to give it a try again soon!
thank you so much Elayne!! 🥰 haha omg yeah, it was definitely more than I thought it would (I just jumped in with no plan lmao) but its been fun to learn along the way! I’m so glad you’re here, I really do hope you try another gradient soon!! I think choosing the right colors is half the battle, some just don’t blend in as nicely as others!
I only found you recently but I love your channel. Now a loyal subscriber. I think YT is a more authentic and supportive platform than fb, insta and tiktok. I weirdly have never considered that it is social media because it feels safer and nicer somehow
thank you soo much Liz!! 💓 and yeah I totally get what you mean, even though I do love some spaces on IG and tiktok, I consume a lott more YT content for that same reason. i’m so glad you’re here 💞
Congrats on the anniversary! I love the mani. I’ve never done a gradient before. Question….I could see little marks from the sponge before you applied the holo…is that a factor of the sponge type used, or the polish, or…? I think the holo coat did a great job af smoothing everything out! I think you have greating lighting for your swatching and I enjoy the side by side comparisons on a nail. This is just me…I am not really a fan of background music for talking kinds of videos. I just find it distracting, but….that’s just me. I thought you’d been on youtube longer! You have such a relaxed and comfortable approachand I really enjoy your videos 😊
thanks soo much Tracy! 🥰 and yeah those little bumps I think are a result of the sponging process. its kind of one of those “trust the process” moments because it can definitely look a little texture and off putting, but topcoat always smooths it out! and aw yeah I know background music isn’t for everyone 🙈 I think I do talk enough that I don’t “need” it to fill in awkward silences, but I just like it more often than not lol! and that’s such a sweet compliment!! I feel a lot more comfortable now than I used to ☺️
Gradients in general are pretty tricky imo and I’m not the best at them, so take what I say with a pinch of salt. I personally have found that working with linear holos is easier than working with creme polishes when it comes to gradients.
thank you so much for your sweet comment!! 💗 as far as gradients go, I think as long as the polish leans more on the opaque side, it’ll be easier to work with. I haven’t done many gradients with holos but i can see them working really well! I usually stay away from using any sheer or jelly based polishes since the sponge will soak the base right up 😅
If Mooncat's primer doesn't last very long for you maybe you should try something with ethyl acetate as the main ingredient. It looks like the primer you used has butyl acetate primarily then ethyl acetate as the secondary ingredient. I'm the opposite so Orly Bonder Base is the worst thing for me to use sadly enough! On another note, I have the same feelings about RU-vid and social media in general... I'm not so secure in myself and doubt everything I do. 🥺😔 Maybe one day I'll get there but I'm already too old for many of these things! 😅🧓🏽🤭
I haven’t looked into the ingredients before, thank you!! that’s so weird though, I just looked up some other base coat ingredients that last long on me and butyl acetate was also the first ingredient? (for Cirque’s and ILNP’s specifically). maybe I just didn’t fully clean off my nail plate other times with this one which caused it to chip faster? I haven’t tried Orly’s Bonder base but always hear great things, i’m sorry that doesn’t work for you! i’m curious if you’ve tried this mooncat one and what you think of it! and nooo see thats exactly how I felt too!! you are never too old!! as much as I wish I had started this sooner, i’m just so happy to be doing it now. I’ve spent tooo long watching from the sidelines and seeing how fun this space was, wishing it was me, so I hope that you dip your toes into the space to see how much fun you could be having!! 🥹🤗
