Im watching with headphones on whilst in bed beside my hubby. I just disturbed him as i laughed out loud and have tears rolling down my face. Stephanie as Isabel is absolutely spot on and so funny once she gets into character too. Everyone looks great, but I'm unsure about Philip. I never know quite what to make of him. The lady meant to be Jarrod (sp?) looks just like him too. I'm not sure about the kitchen ladies, Marie and the moon faced one, I have never known her name and i don't know who she is trying to be.

@@roselee4445 Thought was just to help satisfy her Mother’s concerns. If shelf dropped on books, there would be very little damage. But, if shelf failed, and fell on crystal and china it could destroy so many irreplaceable pieces. A possible wooden support, stained to match the interior, in an inconspicuously placed area would give extra reassurance that the contents would be “more “ protected. Don’t we all want the best for the chateau? It would be heartbreaking to see lovely pieces broken and so we give our advice. We wish all the best and hope to visit Stephanie’s chateau one day even though a long trip from Chicago. Best wishes!!!!!

Not to be a Debbie-downer, but as my parents HAD the same Waterford, I am recalling how it all disastrously came tumbling down and caused an extensive injury. It was all displayed on shelves in a cabinet, and one day as my mother was loading it, a shelf came loose, crashing down on the others below. Nearly all the Waterford was smashed , but more importantly is cut her feet so badly it required an emergency room trip for sutures. The glass cut tendons in her toes, which still bother her some 20+ years later. Please do make sure the shelf clips are sturdy and secure. They are easy to source if you need new ones, some come with a screw to secure each side. The cupboard does look lovely there!

Congratulations Stephanie on your big Five years of The Château Diaries being on RU-vid. That glass cupboard is gorgeous with all the Chrystal and bits of pottery. I love Philips joy in putting it all together and Isabel enjoying the process … just gorgeous! The transformation driving into the courtyard from years ago is amazing and so grand in my opinion. Davey did well in this design for the château. The walled garden, the forest, the gardens around the chapels, unbelievable and all the helpers along the way have been wonderful in what they did. Pizza party with champagne sounds perfect to me. The peacocks are glorious. Your dressing up as others just cracked me up… I laughed till I cried… what Percy wrote was Spot On! Congratulations on 5 years of Chateau Diaries! I have watched every single episode and eagerly await new ones. Your party was hysterical! So many great costumes and all done in such a spirit of fun. I have seen a certain resemblance between Stephanie and Mummy but it wasn't until Steph put on her costume that it was shocking how much alike you both look. The hair clip was what pushed it over the edge. Phillip's version of Stephanie was also fantastic.

Oh my gosh this is the most hilarious thing I have seen in ages. I found myself laughing out loud; I especially enjoy when Stephanie impersonates Isobel:)) It is hard to say who my favourite character was at the party. So many lovely talented people all enjoying a 5th year celebration. I am so happy that I found The Chateau Diaries many years ago. They have brought me endless joy and entertainment. (I can't believe that I was actually in one of them!!:)) Long live La lande xx
