XlimZ tbf the game is very well optimized my old graphics card could run in at a stable 40 fps on a medium setting and that was a nvidia gtx 970 they are cheap now so have a look in January sales
I know this is an anniversary video, but i cant help to notice that: -Ciri is alive, and probably became a Witcher. -The Bloody Baron lives. -Both Kiera and Lambert are alive . -Annrietta and Syanna are both alive. -Callonetta (Priscilla) recovered and it's alive and well. -Roche and Ves are alive, so Geralt chose to kill Dijkstra instead of betraying them. -Olgierd von Everec is alive. -Even little Sarah is there playing with Johnny, implying that Geralt didn't kick her out of her home. I really love this timeline.
@@thegreenreaper6660 you gotta start up another play through when the next gen update drops. I’m currently on my 6th or 7th?play through and I’ll no doubt run through it again, even if it is just a graphical update.
Geralt: ‘Tell us how you’re doing?’ Us: We’ve tackled heists in Los Santos, We’ve robbed banks in Saint Denis, We’ve travelled the fallout apocalyptic wastelands of America, We’ve journeyed (yet again) to Skyrim, We’ve traversed Italy, America, the Caribbean, London, Ancient Egypt and Greece just to name a few, Fought against zombie hordes, Battled a homicidal clown in an insane asylum, a mega prison and even one time in a tricked-out Batmobile, Taken our battles into the stars, Sailed the treacherous Sea of Thieves, Uncovered Avery’s pirate treasure, Battled the Norse Gods, We’ve fought a gravel war with a team of gentlemen in funny hats, Infiltrated enemy bases disguised as cardboard boxes, Even fought alongside Johnny Silverhand in the dark future. But nothing old friend, has ever come close to our adventures with you. What would you say to one last contract, for old time sake?
@@CaptainBlackguard I agree that it’s a fantastic comment. Even through all of our new adventures, it’s impossible to forget about ours with Geralt of Rivia!
I'm here in 2024 and.... honestly, I needed to see this video. I've been going through things in my personal life, but my adventures with Gerald were always and still are amazing.
Came here for the same reason, friend. I hope things have gotten (or are getting) better for you. I too am going through it and this game is one of the very few solaces I have
I think he still takes job from people in Toussaint plus from the Duchess from time to time, like... Making wine is definitely a good thing to do to kill time, but letting his guard down that long for the first time after he first become witcher? Nah, I don't think he will.
I know there might be nothing to add in geralt story but still wish he is main in witcher 4 also we can get properties like corvo bianco and we could extensively upgrade it😍 with vineyard type business too
Ooooooof.....cyberpunk 2077 soured those grapes don't care if they ever fix the game, should have never been released in that state never mind that they straight up lied about the game being an rpg with choices and consequences. No most of the people who worked on the witcher 3 are gone. It's like that with any game company, look at obsidian. New Vegas is the greatest fallout game I've ever played, then the release outer worlds which is subpar borderlands. The people who made new Vegas great were gone by time outerwolds was in development. Same company name different people under the hood
@@newnamesameperson397 Cyberpunk choices DO matter. Many of your game play choices throughout the sidemissions make a huge difference to the outcome. Maybe actually try exploring the game properly and using your brain before throwing the controller down and having a huge tantrum because the choices aren't spelt out for you?
Dearest Geralt. If it'd not been for you, I wouldn't have handle post-breakup depression so well. 147 hours of you, me, and the wild. Your books inspired me, both for my own personal life as for my writing. Thanks for this month. Also: wind's howling
We've all seen Geralt talked to all sorts of creature and all sorts of people, I never expected him to talk to us, thanking us, calling us an old friend, and asked how we're doing. This hits hard.
I'm doing okay, feel like life isn't going the way I planned. I've been better for sure but I've also been worse. Im writing to a 4 year old video and a video game character yet it truly feels like an old friend. Shedding a tear at the thought of it. Can't believe I never saw this video Thanks Geralt.
Hope you're on a better path now. This video also hit me with some painfully sweet nostalgia. Not only was this game amazing, but so was CD Project Red's stewardship over the title, whether it was the free dlc, thank you messages, or this... Man, we were spoiled.
I watched this in the middle of a history class, and SOMEHOW they were telling a story about "The Rape of Europe", and it's damn sad story, but i didnt pay much attention to it since i knew. I watched this during that, and i cried. I got PRAISED for being "Sensitive". Thanks CDPR.
@@666saturation7well people like you. But he got a second chance at life. He redeemed himself by giving away life of Thug. He gives away his saber to you if you choose the good ending. Whose truly evil is Gaunter
Dallasmed65 nah one of the best games ever made is witcher 3 but unfortunately 2 and 1 are nowhere near the level of witcher 3 even though witcher 2 was pretty good. Witcher 1 is pretty ass tho.
Witcher 1 was ahead of its time bro. If you go back and playe it on release date , its clear as day that its one fo the best games. Sadly it did not age well. But witcher 2 is a very good game and was a big step forward. As for the Witcher 3 , its the best game made to date. Every 10 years a game wins an award called , Game of the Decade. The last award was won in 2010 by Half Life 2 . In the 2020 Video Game Awards hosted by Geoff Keighley will be the nest award for game of the decade , which without a doubt will go to The Witcher 3. Well sadly some will not agree and probably pick gta 5 or red dead redemption 2 , but thank god its not all fan votes. The fan votes are like 10-20 % the rest is froma jurry.
weird feeling to have but same, i havent even finished the game in 2023 now xd but I feel already an emptiness when not playing because idk what to do when its over, I dont want it to be over i want them to continue with more, longer gameplay make a game for every character and ill play them all, even a beggers life, im seriou sthis game is so good. I am certain CDPR can make a withcer serie about a beggers life that is better then every other game currently out, this game is pure art and it hurts me its just a game, I feel like ive been apart of it all yet I havent. I want to be with them and hug them all and experience more together but I know its not possible and it just leaves my body with void, a hollow space inside me which I dont know how to fill. Not being to have any more "new" conversations just feels like pain, this whole thing is, people say odnt be sad its over be happy it happend, but i genually regret playing this game because of how I feel now, if i never played it I wouldnt feel like this but at the same time im so glad I played because this gave me the best experience a game has ever gave me, and even though its a game ive learnt so much from the game, but it just hurts me to know that there is no more, no more geralt, no more searching for Ciri no more finding ciri, No more Geralt and Ciri daughter moments, no more searching for Yen, no more talking to Yen and her sarcasm. No more Zoltan who always willing to help his freind Geralt, no more Triss, no more happy Geralt/Ciri, no more sad Geralt/Ciri. no more beautiful lore ot follow, I really hope witcher 4 isnt a disapointment but just knowing that Geralt may not be the main character in that game hurts. however if its not Geralt I hope it will be Ciri and we will still experience the same people. With Geralt being there but not being controlled by us, if it is Ciri the day I see Geralt i may honestly cry. I just hope its more of the same people and not basically a brand new game as change may be good for the game but I just cant deal with it and I know many other either cant but sadly they cant keep this storyline forever, everything comes to an end sadly and thats what hurts the most, the day that no morew ithcer content is confirmed will be the worst day in the world, just that emptiness over everybody who ever was lucky enough to experience this art, knowing that he will never be able again to have a new conversation will leave me there just wondering why it had to come to an end, just why. But but I hope u have a great life brother
We all thank them too. These are good people and we're all grateful for one bright star in a sea of contempt that comes not only from the vast majority of other developers but gaming journalism as well.
I'm super thankful to them. But the truth is that game developer interests and publisher interests differ. Quite a lot. CD is one of the very few that both develops and publishes. And because of that, they focus on us. The fans. And the effects are quite tangible
The video didn't make my tear up. The comments above didn't make me tear up. My 3 minute contemplation of the entire Witcher series, books and all, didn't make me tear up. This comment made me tear up. It's so perfectly Witcher. I get super wistful, thinking about Crach and Milva and Regis and Yarpen, and Eredin and Vilgefortz and Bonhart, and the Lady's of the Lake, and Lambert and Eskel and Coen and Vesemir, and just
But i want to see Geralt once more. Him and Ciri. In a side quest, or just mentioning him, referring to him somehow in another game would be a dream come true. But i wish they would continue the story. Not now... Someday
been going through a rough patch. remembered this video so I decided to search for it. when Geralt ask "How you've been?" cant help but break down. Just a pathetic little man teary eyed on his lunch break in the office. LoL "Just peachy, Geralt. thanks for all the fun"
And this was six years Ago. It’s unbelievable. The Witcher 3 will always and forever be my favourite and most loved game of all time. Thank you for giving me these wonderful and magical memories.
Anybody notice that Geralt hung up Iris' and Olgierd's portrait? (Near the Bloody Baron) On a sidenote, I am happy it's canon that Olgierd, Syanna and the Baron got their second chance and actually turn their lives on the right track, they were not exactly saints but man were their stories emotional rollercoasters.
Olgierd was a terrible man, i and many other people i talked to agreed that cannon Geralt would probably chose not to mess with Satan and just send Olgierd to hell, but i actually saved him for the awesome sword he had lol, he did say that he will use the rest of his life to redeem himself and he is a strong, powerful and charismatic character so i like him being alive in the cannon
If only this scene exists at the very end. I would enjoy listening to them chat even if it takes a long time. Always wonder how Olgierd would react to Geralt’s old friends, and then regis. And maybe we get to see them fight each other in training or for fun at the garden. Damn that would be interesting
And now guys, imagine: few years down the road, the memories of the Witcher games start to fade away...we all played Cyberpunk and it was awesome...and sure there were many other games along the way...then another E3 comes. Yea, we get all the Battlefield 10s and Call of Duty: Galactical Warfare and Assassin's Creeds trailers and presentations...and then, all of a sudden, the stream from the event goes quiet for a while...after a few seconds you see just "CD PROJEKT RED PRESENTS" on the black screen...and then...the Wolf medallion appears on the screen... Just imagine the chills we will all get.
Just a Wolf medallion? Behind it Bear/cat/Griffith/viper/manticore lights up one by one. Its a prequel based on the time when Witchers were abundant and still famous. Imagine the clashes between Schools and banter. Hell since The Witcher games took the liberty on changing Geralt's age He's like centuries in the game because Regis in blood and wine said they knew each other since the 950s so we can still have an Immature witcher Geralt.
Honestly, I hope not A sequel would set a canon ending for the third witcher, which would make feel bad all the players that got a different ending A sequel with ciri, same thing A prequel? We know CDPR claimed they’re done with Geralt, and I don’t know how many of us would play with a different witcher Sure it would be great using a younger geralt
What moves me the most is that I was able to "save" all the characters there, not knowing about the consequences of my choices. I see Keira, Lambert, Syanna, Bloody Baron and it really makes me feel satisfied
I feel that pain the witcher was an amazing game by an incredible company that actually cared about there fans, although geralt us gone I'm looking forward to whats next from CD Projekt Red
The witcher means so much for me, it helped me in a really hard time in my life. That's why it's really hard for me, it's like a friend that you have to let go
They didn't have to make this video. They could've just tweeted out a simple "Happy 10th Anniversary!" message. But they did this. They got Geralt back. Just to thank us. The players. Well I want to thank you, CDPR. Thank you for something we'll never forget.
The fact that CDPR took the time to make this video, is a perfect example of what sets them apart from other companies. Passionate creators who cares deeply about what they do, as well as their fans. Thank you for being what you are!
Hear hear. I hope they continue to understand that it's exactly this passion in their top executives as well as the devs that elevates them above publishers run by soulless corporate suits like EA, Activision, Ubisoft and such. I'm really excited to see and hear more about Cyberpunk 2077. I love the genre and the idea of a cyberpunk world, story and characters created by CDPR makes me impatient to see more of it. The only thing I'm a little worried about is gameplay, since I felt that was the one aspect of The Witcher series that wasn't quite up to the stellar quality of the rest of it. It will be tricky to pull off, that's for sure.
@@cappew22 No he reffers to the life in toussiant, drinking wine, something something, swiping grapes from Anna Henrieta's Vinyard, "Vessemir'd have enjoyed that especially"
I recently beat the Witcher 3 and all DLCs a second time. I just realized that all the characters in this video are alive and well in my playthrough. Even what they do now matches where I left them in game. That means my playthrough has been fully cannonized. Syanna, Ves, Roche, Baron, Anna and the Godlings even! Even though this video is 4 years old, I hadn't seen it until today. Perfect timing. The emotions are running wild right now. I love this game forever. Thank you CD Projekt Red.
just finished blood and wine for the fourth time ... and I can't hold back my tears, the truth is, whenever I get frustrated , I watch this masterpiece and I realized How much the witcher series has changed my life. Thank you CD project ,Thank you geralt .

.....You're posting this comment as if Blood And Wine didn't have a happy ending? I mean sure there is a bad ending, but even the bad ending isn't really that bad.
This is what makes CDPR stand out. Didn't have to do this, probably cost them money, yet they still did it, since they treat us with respect, instead of treating us as money bags, unlike ubisoft, warner bros, EA. It's clear that they love video games, they put the work in, and I love them for it.
Bush did 9/11 jet fuel can't melt steel beams they have more games coming out as well as Gwent to support, this was most definitely made to keep their audience active and buzzing, similar to Blizzard with the Overwatch cinematics. I'm I still thought this video was really cute though, but don't be naive.
The Witcher 3 might not be the game for everybody, but CD PROJEKT RED sure know what they're doing. They put their hearts and souls to their works, and that's how you make a game.
Bush did 9/11 jet fuel can't melt steel beams its like someone said some devs do dlc and call it new game cdred makes new game and calls it dlc while ubisoft goes for money (ghost recon phantoms died cuz of new packs every month) reds go for fans thats what separates them from any other devs
This has to be the most beautiful video ever created by a game company for its fans. So many emotions getting evoked just by watching this, reminiscing about the story & characters and also about the time playing it. Greatest game series ever.
No company managed to hit right in the feels like this, but to be fair - many out there mention "you" in credits of their game and thank players in different ways. Many are good, in spite of an ocean of shit in the gaming industry lately... but threre's "good"... and then there's CDPR. They are just on another level - a blessing for gaming community
@@frnweclipse3130 Cory Barlog is fucking incredible too, I cried of happiness when he said microtransactions are the best videogame villains, after what I saw on EA and activision franchises I loved and they fucked up with the costumer
So many details in this. The paintings of Dandelion and Ciri, all those swords. How this is as close to an official ending with Lambert, Keira, the Bloody Baron, Roche and Ves, Annarieta and Syanna, Olgeird, all alive with Ciri most likely a Witcher. But my absolute favorite is (probably) Vesemir's Medallion with flowers laid beside it at 0:49.
Ze brofrican, Me too. Do you think we will see Geralt again in the next Witcher game? I personally would leave it on a high and hopefully follow Letho's story.
