A steadfast leader for more than 42 years as a member of the Children's Hospital New Orleans Board of Trustees, we are proud to honor Dr. Stephen Hales as he becomes an Emeritus Board Member. Dr. Hales' impact on our ability to better serve this community is immeasurable, from the formation of our community benefits programs, to playing an integral role in our response and recovery from Hurricane Katrina and the years that followed, to the formation of LCMC Health, and the vision for Children's Hospital's unprecedented campus expansion. In deep appreciation, we celebrate all that Dr. Hales has done to improve the health and wellbeing of Louisiana's children.
