I was fortunate to have seen numerous Third World performances from Morgan's Harbor in 1996 to Negril in 1977, Brooklyn NY to Miami , Coconut Grove, Hollywood, Miami Beach. Florida. T Most of the time Bunny Ruggs was the lead vocalist. He was one of the best vocalists on the Planet. It is always so satisfying to listen to the songs of the Third World..and listening to his voice was an important part of the joyous experience. Songs like "Now that we found love" hit in 1978 Sense of Purpose, Try Jah Love..."Ain't giving up no way"...Satta massa Gana... Thank goodness we can always listen to the songs on UTube or Spotify. When my Daughter was young she begged me to let her bring home the class rabbit over Christmas break and I said only if we can name him Bunny Rugs we had that bunny for years and when anyone asked about the name my Daughter said it’s my Mom’s favorite singer and to this day he still is! Third World with Bunny Rug is my favorite singer and reggae band. I've been listening to their music since 1980s. I've got all their albums. Truly missed, His voice was the coolest of them all. I'm so happy that the Third World band is still going on and kicking. God Bless.
