Celebrating the UT String Project's 75th Anniversary 

Founded after WWII to address the post-war string player shortage in the US, the String Project at UT Austin became a model of how American music programs could provide young beginners with the building blocks of their musical education. Now, the UT String Project is one of the oldest and most revered string programs in the country.
