What you really wanted to say is that you really don't care for the story while playing new RE games since paying attention to that is really pointless since most of the RE games in the franchise are completely butchered which just has driven the entire franchise to death. One would say ''but they still make games etc'' yeah but that doesn't mean it's actually spiritually alive. It's basically overpriced pile of toxic garbage made for braindead people. As my friend says for sheepsters and modern day zombies consumers. So piecing the story together and making connections is a major waste of time when every game after the 4th one is basically a butchered spinoff.
