At the beginning, sorry for promoting myself, but everybody started once, so I hope you will be forgiving. Could you listen my new cover? It's for me really important! 💕
I don't think that song helped me. The CLOSE-UP FACE SHOTS of all the celebrities ACTUALLY spread the coronavirus THROUGH the camera. Sounded like suck eggs wrapped in soaked toilet paper with cough medicine drizzled over it for a nice little flavor
This comment is spot on. When they all finally meet up, some didnt take it seriously, nobody knew what key or tempo it was and they have to mash it together an hour before handing it in lol.
Celebrities singing “Imagine” to help with Covid-19 will do just as much as Kendall Jenner did a couple of years ago to end police brutality with her can of Pepsi.
The amount of disappointment I could see in this man's face as he listened to these celebrities lol. It reminds me of my band director when she looks at me...
(Second draft) *Snotty academic voice* - This arrangement of John Lennon's 'Imagine', by an assortment of celebrities, uses a lack of tempo to reflect the uncertainty that the general population felt during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. In addition, the inconsistent rising and falling of keys are symbolic of the statistics during the outbreak. Starting in the key of C and traversing through a variety of keys, we are taken on this journey, and the return to the home key at the cadence of this rendition, represents the human desire for stability and hope. --------- One can also feel the push and pull between the governments and the people in the rubato, and brief tempo, as the populace become uneasy about being locked down, striving for the freedom that they believe they are entitled to. In conclusion, this rendition truly reflects the time and context of its production, and dare I say it is certainly an experimental endeavour.
This video is the actual analysis of one of my favorite singer jokes: [short version] Bandleader informs the band just before they start the song, "Okay, we're gonna start in Bb in 4/4; go three bars, jump up to B minor7, one bar of 3/4; [continues on and on in an Aristocrats style of chords/time signatures/keys] and the singer blurts out, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! THERE'S NO WAY I CAN REMEMBER ALL THAT, LET ALONE SING IT!" to which the bandleader shoots back, "Well, that's what you did last night, so I'm just letting everyone know in advance!... And a 1 and a 2 and a"
Its meant to get people to live in the moment and relax. 'No heaven' so enjoy the time you have left. 'No possessions' focus on life. Be with the people you love and live in the moment.
@@razrv3lc What the fuck are you talking about? You completely misunderstood my comment - I said that people convince themselves that something is true even if there's evidence that it's not because it's more 'comfortable' to live in a nice lie than in a bad truth. In what world is that even a justification of anything - let alone anything to do with the nazis... Did you even respond to the right comment?
ImAgine theres no heaven Different note : iTs eAsY iF yOu trY even more different and deeper : *no help below us* high pitch different whole step : above us oNlY skYyyyYyy yeah the rest was too much. thank you.
@@talt5725 John was a celebrity but a talented one that wrote and made some of the best music of all time with beatles and as a solo artist Not a shitty overpaid hollywood actor
@nazmi nazmi Blah, blah, blah, Republicans are bad because they believe in self-preservation and have NO compassion, blah,blah,blah...I mean, you are COMPLETELY WRONG, but mmkay.
the thing is... they can't sing- and they doN'T EVEN TRY, and the ones that can - they don't just SING, they show off (what really just neglects the whole point). I feel like their first take was their last one. embarrassing, oh god... they couldn't even sing it in one key, wtf.
as a person who mastered parts of the singing that most performers haven't, even if we sound god-tier, *somtimes...* we like to sound horrible when we sing, singing badly is fun in itself, of course internet-randoms are gonna get judgemental about "cant even sing, not even in key" lmao fuck off
@@revan5097 wa wa wa bruh I ain't no musican but even I sound better then this trash while I'm singing and shitting on the same time. If you're trying to convey a message at least try ffs
AldobernalTV Bernal ‘grats, you have achieved intellectual superiority. Go write a book or something you are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to originality, did you really expect anything better from youtube comments?
Honestly, the "I hope one day, you'll join us" sounded much more condescending to me. Like, most of us can't and neverr will, not under the current system and especially not right now
Just shows how out of touch they are from reality. lol wealthy celebs that live in a bubble and have zero financial worries are singing us "imagine". so vapid.
There could be nothing funnier than just playing along for the whole thing uninterrupted, no commentary, but with the keys indicated on screen as they change. Please make version 2 of this the world needs it.
Yeah i feel like thats what all of the celebrities should have done. Made a fool of themself and sung like pedro and that would actually be more entertaining.
Stuck in your home without a reliable source of income and an uncertain financial future? Not to worry, people who make more money in a year than you will ever see in your lifetime sang an out of tune rendition of an old song. Wait...
RickyontheRadiator Yeah, one that Lennon himself considered basically communist propaganda no less...because they haven’t benefitted from capitalism one bit. No sir.
"Imagine no possessions. I wonder if you can." Me looks in refrigerator and see small bag of carrots and a very sad lonely orange. No bread, milk or eggs, not even bologna. "I hate all of you."
I really like your attitude toward the challenge and this cool vibe is very inspiring! I have no clue about music technique but that is fascinating to watch. Fav performers: Gal and Cara 💕
I feel like being able to hear music this well is a superpower in its own right. I'm always amazed. And thank you for making this their silly video a little bit more palatable.
It's the "home" note of a song. Pieces of music mostly have a note/chord they are drawn to resolve toward. That is the key of a song. There are also modes, too. Major and minor keys are modes, but there are others as well. For instance, you could have C Ionian (Major), Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian (Minor), and Locrian. All these scales start on C but have a different sequence of notes that they follow to get up to the next C.
Charles did not have to spend 9 whole minutes reminding us how much of a musical wizard he is. EDIT: Imagine there's a tempo, and actors actually sang.
"Imagine no possessions" Homeless people on the streets: ... "Imagine there's no heaven" The over 2,000,000 people who died from coronavirus: ... EDIT: Updated the death toll. Rest in Peace :( Edit 2: Update as of 31 October 2020. Happy Halloween and Rest In Peace to those lost. Edit 3: The world passed 2 million deaths on 15 January 2021. Rest in Peace and let's get this vaccine out and rolling.
This truly brings a smile to my face... Knowing that I don't know any of these people, and therefore I literally couldn't care less. Thank you elite class, you're really making us all feel so safe, singing about communist utopias where there are no countries or possessions. Great analysis though. That was very fun to watch, in all seriousness.
Finally! Someone who uses the saying correctly. “Couldn’t care less” why do people say “could care less”, which is the opposite of what they’re trying to say and it really annoys me lol
Kaden Lewis Ye and they get to decide what to do with it they dont need to give it to help people they earned it rightfully so (usually) and some have donated
LivelyEngineer Gaming they earned their money from those people going to support them, the least they can do is give back to the community they rose out of. And anyway, it is the responsibility of the more financially secure to help those who aren’t. It is unempathetic and unsympathetic to do otherwise
No musical piece would have 15 random key changes especiallyone that makes no harmonic sense not even go around circle of fifths or modulate (C D E F# B) The tempo is impossible It’ll just be horrible and a mess to play continuously, you have to play in discrete chunks and edit them together
