Rest in peace Anton. Your country, your friends, your fans remember you. Lets speak Russian. It's really easy, just try to feel it) Russian language is full of emotions)
I am most impressed by the figure skater. Not only he is not an ethnic Russian like many others, but he learnt by himself (as they claim) to perfection.
Conodleeza's Russian was by far the best, she speaks with some accent but gramatically correct. I could only imagine what her russian sounded like back in the time when she had practice in Russian, must have been a near-native level.
Yeah well and she is american which takes even more guts to speak russian. I mean the cold war attitudes have not gone anywhere although the war has ended.... But yes, I agree, her accent is a bit crude (also might be poor video quality), but that being taken into account she speaks very good russian.
I don't think that celebrities who came to U.S. as kids with their parents from former Soviet Union or former republics of Soviet Union should count as someone who learned Russian as foreign language.
@@DeadbySunrise24 Her Russian is pretty good. As for accents, every region has its own accent. For the people of her native town Russian from Moscow would sound funny as well. Her accent is a charming Ukrainiane one, a very nice one.
Emily Mortimer is another British actress speaking good Russian which studied in Moscow or St.Petersburg while taking acting classes, if memory serves.
+1 Yes, absolutely! Especially Rice. Plus the cosmonaut and the businessman. Most of the rest speak really beginner's Russian and their knowledge is pretty much exaggerated (not saying about Kunis or Jovovich who knew russian as her first language).
do you know, that today, ukranian propoganda calls "ukrainian" every famous jew, which left Ukraine (including those, who escaped termination by ukranian nazis) ? yes, absolutely correct, being from UK does not to be english automatically
Funny thing Nina Dobrev can understand Russian perfectly and speak it as well. She is Bulgarian its very similar to russian and the alphabet is in cyrillic as well.
Nobody shows Ksinia Solo as a Russian speaker. I used to watch the series “Lost Girl” and really enjoyed when she spoke Russian. Haven’t heard a thing from her since that series went off air. Sad
Surprisingly I understand some of this. I have been learning Russian for a month and can openly say I am obsessed. (My Russian name in my user is a joke with a friend no one will get so dw about it. Not russian..)
For example which ones speak a heritage thats to say grandmothers language vs actually learning a completly new language in classes by study or one that is similar to a heritage language like italian and spanish or polish and czech or slovene and croatian, german and dutch
I'm learning Russian and I really am enjoying it so far. I'm a little curious though why Johnny Weir loves Russia so much when it's very anti gay. I respect him for his passion, but I don't understand how a gay guy would love a very anti gay country. Russia isn't the worst. At least it's technically legal to be gay there, but it's not the best either. It's a little odd to me..
There's much more to Russia than antigay agenda, just as there's much more to Iran than terrorism, more to India than arranged marriages and more to China than female infanticide. Trying to put an entire culture with hundreds years of history in a jar with one label on is... superficial at best.
I've seen him perform in the Olympics and his coach (who is a female from Russia) speaks Russian to him. The tidbits of the exchange b/w him and his coach that were caught on camera/mic before/after his performances seem to point to a very mother-son like relationship, very affectionate. I'd venture a guess that's why he loves things Russian.
+RussianPlus Конечно, Джонни! Интервью 5-летней давности. Сейчас он гораздо лучше говорит. Кроме того - пишет, читает, знает историю России лучше многих русских и вообще он большая умница и человек замечательной души.
Antonio Cardentey .I'm sorry, I do not really understand the meaning of the term "gay propaganda". For me, Johnny is "propaganda" of beauty, freedom and infinite love for mankind.
+Татьяна МИхалина Тоже когда посмотрел видео, подумал про него. посмотрел еще одно его интервью в ютубе. да у него же иностранного акцента, практически нет. респект ему, видно что парень усердно занимался.
it would be so cool to learn Russian so i can speak it fluently, I can read it just fine but I can't understand the grammer and I only know a few words
