Totally agree!! Like just give credit and where credit is due maybe admire a little bit but the whole emphasis on celebrities leads to such messes and uneccessary things like hate and drama.
Exactly! When was the last time we received a big reward for doing our job? Everybody from the homeless to the richest person is just a human being. Makes no difference who you are, but are you interesting or affect my life.
I can handle honesty but to me she's Just annoying asf, i actually started disliking her after she scratched her Bottom on a sacred rock, nearly killed a Guy with IT a laughed at IT on the Graham Norton show
She kinda dropped off the radar now (thank god) but her whole “I’m so REAL” schtick from a few years back was so tiring.. It’s like she was trying so hard to be the “cool, laid-back girl that’s SO not like other girls” that at some point the mask slipped and even other celebs were calling her out on it..
@@eliza1826 yes indeed, laughing at her, and then accusing her being fake, bodyshaming people and then getting angry because she called you out, and then acting like a child to her. Being angry at her that she doesnt want to be a cristal person. That are real reasons why you should hate her am i right? Well.. the people who called her out are full of crap, and nasty beings themselves, atleast she makes people laugh and being herself.. i hope you met her then you can judge.
suggest you see the interview with adam sandler where she says (With NO regrets) thats she's deliberately an "A**hole" to fans who want to talk to her.
Letto stopped performing until the venue aided my dosabled friend to our seat. It was changed last minute to the eagles ballroom which was not accessible and we had balcony seats. We got to hang with 30 seconds to mars for a bit after the show also. He has my respect for that.
"As a crystal lover, i am offended." So as a pizza lover, i am supposed to be offended to all those people who don't like pizza? 😂😂😂 that is so childish! If you don't like jennifer, ignore her. Life is simple. 😂
That's what I always felt about her. I find her gorgeous and sometimes even funny, but sometimes it seems like that's all an act, like she's constantly trying to say "hey, I'm a rich and famous actress but I'm smarter than hollywood and not vapid at all like the others, and I'm just like the girl next door and not like the other celebrities". Sometimes it seems more like marketing than anything else.
You may not realise it but she has literally never tried to sell this narrative. It's all the media. A few weeks ago Jennifer literally CLIMBED OVER A CHAIR and the media was like "omg so relatable" and some people on twitter were like wow she tries too hard. It's really unfair to blame her for what the media says about her. Also it kind of annoys me when people critise her personality because she said as a kid she had to be given medication for being hyper which didn't work, so she clearly can't help the way that she acts and it's very ignorant to say those things about her when she can't help it
Not just Hollywood. That's what people do they love you tell your great then they hate you. Personally I can't stand Jennifer Lawrence. I never did. She just seemed fake and uncouth to me
Funny that Joan Rivers can't even take a little bit of criticism. It is fair to say that you don't like a show where someone is being called ugly and fat in public.
I honestly don't think her tripping was fake. I trip all the time with casual footwear. She wore a heavy dress + heels, so i can understand however I don't think Jared Leto considered those factors 🤔
You seem like you started disliking her because everyone else started doing it, I honestly don't understand where all the hate for her is coming from..
Hoss hum where did I hint I disliked now that everyone does ? I used to like her when I saw her in the first hunger game, but after seeing her interviews she seemed too much of a "relatable girl" so I started to doubt her sincerity. That's it. And i never said I "hated" her, I'm not gonna "hate" someone I dont know, I said I didn't "trust" her.
Look up the story about Jennifer Lawrence's bar fight in Budapest. It was pretty indicative of her character to me. Basically, this guy asked for a selfie, she refused, he cursed at her, to which she responded by dousing multiple beers on him, and went and doused beers on his suitcase, and only stopped when realizing she was wasting beer. She seemed proud telling that story too. She said it was an altercation, but the guy didn't physically retaliate, so it sounds more like assault to me. And she was applauded for it.
I know it's disgusting, she's told other stories that paint her in a really bad light and yet audiences just laugh. I'm like.. are you actually fucking kidding me. She shades people a lot on talk shows too, very nasty girl. Basically I don't care if someone thinks she's hot or funny or whatever, if she's a nasty person you shouldn't be into her..
Shelley Goodwin like you right! Looks like ypu know everything their is to know about being nasty! shelley badwin?? All the people on that list are just like you they werent a bunch of hasbeens they were a bunch never beens
Is there a difference from shading people on talk shows vs. shading people via a song like Taylor Swift? I mean Taylor is no good girl herself, she's jumped from one guy to the next, and written songs after their break up. Seems like she only dates guys to gain inspiration for her music career.
Ms Patato What being famous has to do with it? Is it an accomplishment? I want to remind you that Kylie Jenner is famous and she has no brain cells, so what kind of credibility does being famous give?
she is rude with fans in public so she will not give a shit about you if you meet her in real life unlike other famous people like the rock steve harvey will smith so i will say yeah i don't like her not because she's famous but because her attitude in real life
Ariana Grande mocking how extra relatable Jlaw acted in a TV sketch was the start of people blaming Jlaw for it I noticed. Like if they've been waiting for someone to say it first.
She's never acted like she's sooo normal and relatable. She's just a person who says everything that pops into her head, and doesn't know how to 'behave'. If she appears to act relatable, it's because she was made famous so suddenly and astoundingly that she was literally a normal relatable person thrust into the spotlight. She's still trying to get her bearings, years later.
"As a crystal lover..." what the fuck? I do believe that it's all an act, though. She plays relatable on tv, in front of the camera, and off camera she says she's rude to everybody that tries to aproach her. This is not being relatable at all.
Ana Mm I personally like her and it's fine if you don't, but I think the one thing you can't say about her is that she is arrogant or full of herself. I think she's one of the least arrogant people I have ever come across. She doesn't take herself seriously, she's very self deprecating and doesn't talk about herself all the time like most other celebrities
Rachel S personally anyone here doesn't know her so I judge her as actress snd how she present herself. I like her screen presence and some of her movies but she is public figure and she talks a lot about drinking and reality shows for my taste.
Ana Mm I don't think that makes her full of herself. And she's allowed to have her own interests. I don't think it says anything about her personality that she talks about drinking or reality shows. It's just a personal interest. I'm not a big drinker and I don't think she is (she works all the time and remember we only see like 5% of her life on tv. There's no way of knowing how much she actually drinks etc)
I've never seen even one instance where Jennifer Lawrence has behaved like she thought she was way smarter than anyone. And I've actually never seen her putting others down except Donald Trump which makes me like her even more. Hate her or love her, I promise she isn't affected at all.
I used to like her, but then I watched interviews, and she seems like a huge asshole. The one where she's so proud of throwing beer on a guy that wanted a selfie in a bar. And she seems kinda dumb without a script.
Although I agree with JLaw about not finding fun in talking about people’s image, I also find it weird that she said this but also took a dig at Lindsay Lohan and her serious struggles throughout life.
I find her acting average. Not terrible but not great also. I don't think her performance on silver lining was worth the oscar. She did good and I liked the film, I just don't think it was oscar worthy performance. I haven't had interest in watching her latest films so I don't know how she's doing now.
Her acting is great actually. There is not doubt about that. The critics always praise her acting and there are a lot of critics out there who don't give shit about how likeable a person is and they judge by their acting and not their personal lives. She is still overrated when it comes to how much people like her. I find her normal and nothing special honestly. She is beautiful but not worthy of having people go crazy over her.
Mick Cipher you get to hate jennifer for doing literally NOTHING and then use HIM to put her down? AN ABUSER and a guy who pulls that kind of shit but hey i guess shes annoying right thats definitely worse 👍
I find her insufferable. The whole “girl next door” image comes across very fake and she is desperately trying to come across as relatable but she’s not at all. She’s also not that great an actress. I didn’t mind her as Katniss but she grew more nauseating as the movies progressed.
Girlfrommars 060791 the media are the ones who push the relatable image not her. It's laughable how many people blame her for what the media says about her. Recently she climbed over a chair at the oscars. Not a big deal. Then the media starts saying omg so relatable and people started saying in response to what the media said about it that she tries too hard to be relatable! How on earth is that her fault? I wish people would think things through.. I guess they just prefer to immediately blame her for everythingn
Girlfrommars 060791 Well how do you explain the example I gave? Pretty much every "relatable" which is sad about her happens just like that. She clearly hates it too, recently Joel edgerton said she was "normal" and she said "oh no now people will think I called myself normal and make fun of me on snl". It's clearly something she doesn't create herself. Tell me, if she was so concerned about her image and having people like her to be a success then why would she do such risky and divisive films like mother! And Red Sparrow. Those roles completely go against this image she has apparently tried to create. People should stop blaming her for everything. It all started because she fell at the oscars (completely out of her hands). Since then the media has forced this relatable image which some people like to say she does on purpose. Is she not allowed to just be herself without all these conspiracy theories about her being fake?
Rachel S Look, I have my opinion and you have yours. Let’s leave it at that shall we? I really can’t be bothered having a debate with someone I don’t know. You’re a fan and I’m not, simple as that. Adios.
Leto didn't have to say that.. what is the point? If he was just teasing her for fun, then it's fine.. but, if he was serious, then it's just childish, arrogant & stupid.. Fake or not fake, a lot of people enjoyed it.. and love Jennifer..
As much as I don’t like Amy Schumer, she has one skit about “the most relateable celeb ever” and it’s hilarious as it’s totally shading JLaw. “Do I have a maid? Yes. Do I know her name? No. But I’m just like you”
Lena Dublavais Almost killed a man, thought it was funny, scratched her ass on a sacred stone, thought it was funny, dislodged the tombstone and sent it down a fucking mountain... So many things to hate
Thank you so much for sharing your valuable opinion with us! Is there anything else you would like to add? Anxiously looking forward to hear more of your wisdom.
Kevin Reynart everyone has things they like or don’t like about other people and that’s fine... but from everything I’ve seen I think she’s awesome. To each his own 🤷♂️
She kinda dropped off the radar now (thank god) but her whole “I’m so REAL” schtick from a few years back was so tiring. It’s like she was trying so hard to be the “cool, laid-back girl that’s SO not like other girls” that at some point the mask slipped and even other celebs were calling her out on it.
So she fell twice, called out body shaming, doesn’t like crystals, and she’s a fake person? I’m sure her relatability is overplayed a little for marketing purposes, but these situations are so dumb the crystal dude… seriously?😂
i just watched an interview with her and Emma Stone. I think its Vanity Fair. Everytime Emma starts speaking Jennifer interupted her and talked really loud finishing the story Emma started...it was really annoying and after that you start realizing that she does that basically all of the time. She seems like and attention addict and energy sucker.
do you perhaps mean ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H0mutl4l5hw.html well the premise of the story was what they had in common and they both interject comments
I always preferred Emma over Jen. I learned Emma was better than Jen after watching both Hunger Games and Spider-Man the same year and realized The Amazing Spider-Man was better
I Am A Stonefield Shipper 123 I think you can´t solely blame the actor for the quality of the movie. they didn´t write the screenplay nor make any decisions beyond their acting choices. its just weird for me to see a talented actor (which jlaw definitely is) who is apparently unable to recognize that she is constantly interrupting people. that is insensitive and a sign for a lack of listening skills. which should be part of your basic skill set as a serious actor (I´m excluding celebrity actors who only need their star power to get hired...jlaw seems to float in that direction). and she is taking herself way more serious than her selfdeprecating humor tries to suggest. which is apparent when you read an interview of hers about "Phantom Thread". I think that was the breaking point for me. She criticized the movie that she wasn´t even able to watch for more than 5 minutes and implied that the movie is about an abusive relationship. how dare she! esp. after that shitshow of a hollywood star vehicle called "Passengers" tried to sell us the story of a guy who forced a woman he didn´t know basically into spending the rest of her life only with him as a LOVE STORY! the whole movie was an obvious cash grab and only millimeters away from unintentionally perpetrating the same fucking message than "50 shades of grey"...and after making that movie she thinks she is entitled to criticize a film made by one of the best directors currently working although she didn´t even watched it completely. (I really hold myself back not to insult her right now ;) )
Em's got better chemistry with her Boyfriend Andrew Garfield. If you can see.. In interviews from The Amazing Spider-Man Movies, Andrew gives her a chance to talk. Boys are less drama i think.
Having met her at a music & arts event, I can say her 'ordinary person' act is no act. I had no idea who she was -- I'm so old I had literally never even heard of her. I would have never known except someone came up to me after and said 'that was Jennifer Lawrence!' Okay, if you say so. Later I googled her and I realized I'd met the biggest mega-star in Hollywood. Absolutely zero celebrity attitude, I had no idea she was a mega-star when I was talking to her.
Nice story. I could make up the exact opposite story about her on the spot. In the end of the day it's just a story though. You won't be able to prove this ever happened.
I think Jennifers personality is awesome. Shes the woman you could hangout with, have a lot of fun with just being yourself. Shes goofy but i think thats her just being uncomfortable in situations which is really cute but also relateable.
How people can really hate a person that they have never met in real life? I mean.. how?? Only for rumors (that usually are fake) and interviews?? People, haters, seriously, get a life
I meant both, or on addition, so i edited. Furthermore, this whole weinstein thing, she is on an old letttermen saying weinstein just needs a hug. Poor thing had no idea how to respond, and didnt know how to play it in the recent gang up weinstein.
Exactly, this channel is stirring controversy! Miley Cyrus has never publicly mentioned her name in any interview or talk show, the same cannot be said about JLaw though!
Jlaw is a try-hard.."see see see everyone? i'm just like you" ....Her movies are dull..and she is just an average actress imo..I will say she was good in winters bone...but that was before she hit it big and started phoning it in. Just my opinion.
BNL07604 Why do people even give her the time of day then if she can’t be respectful to fans/people? I wish Hollywood would see how rude and messed up she is 🤨. Fans are the reason why all of these celebrities are where they are today .
Don't forget the entire state of Hawaii and people of Hawaiian descent. Insulting the cultural beliefs of indigenous people....soooooo relatable! What a miserable attempt to be funny and lovable. 🙄
Laila K - THANK YOU! I was neutral about her until I saw that interview. Even the other guests were uncomfortable. She laughed about deliberately desecrating a sacred not-to-be-touched artifact. Fans said it was a nervous laugh. Nope, it was an amused laugh until she saw the others' discomfort.
margiegrace i actually really LIKED her before that interview! then it came out and it was like, wow...i guess these are her true ignorant and immature colors. bye felicia.
People should be more chill. To those who don't share that believe it's just rocks. The rock on easter island, which people fought wars over, is utterly ignored by everyone these days including the locals. Why? Because it's just a rock. No reason to go spanish inquisition over a rock.
What an idiotic way to judge someone. And this is coming from someone who doesn't like her. Your mind is full of pop culture nonsense if that's your take on the situation.
RD400D78 high school clichey shit. She was never discovered, she was the rich girl with like her 3 friend squad and her daddy owned half the record company. She was rachel mcadams in mean girls.
Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t have the looks of a “girl next door”...Regardless of Lawrence, I always hated the values of Fashion Police. This comment section is also just disgusting. People will never be satisfied and never consider how others feel seeing this stuff written about them. Half this comment section doesn’t even have a viable reason for not liking her...”She’s just ew” “She tries too hard to be relatable...I HATE HER!” Really??? Disliked..
Markersable I won’t say anything bad about her , but agree it’s terrible how she treats her fans and that’s the reason why most people don’t like her. Celebrities like her don’t get rich by them selves without fans. If they want personal life private they shouldn’t have become famous.
Weinstein MADE Jennifer Lawrence into the star she is now. J.Law slept with Weinstein to get her first break out roll in "the hunger game" and other Weinstein production movies that earned her an Oscar. All Weinstein productions. It was well known that "Hunger Games" lead actress roll had already been given to someone else, but was later given to J. Law, an unknown actress at the time, an unproven talent, a nobody, was given the lead roll and it's all because she was willing to play ball. Willing to sleep her way to stardom. Majority of these actresses do it, but not alot has the balls to admit it.
Terrie Smith actually her break out roll was winters bone in 2010 where the film and herself were nominated for Oscars then was X-men first class which was successful as well Then hunger games
FoxHound1414~Winters bone was an independent drama which is NOT well known, not mainstream. The only one I can give her credit for was X-Men (mystique). But even with that role, as big as it was, was NOT her break out roll. It was the hunger games that made her into a global A-list star. A Weinstein production. I don't care if she slept her way to an A-list stardom, she gotta do what she gotta do. It's not a biggie to me. What I find a problem is the fact that she'll never admit it. And it's not just Jennifer. There's other actresses who do that too but they'll never admit to it. The only way these actresses will admit to it is if they can portray themselves as the victim and not a willing participate, Quid pro quo. With that being said, yes, there are also some that are real victims. There's a few of those out there, but there's also alot of them that do it to climb that stardom ladder but will never admit to it. Behind the scenes in Hollywood is crazy. There is so many things that go on behind the scenes that will blow your mind.
Terrie Smith It doesn’t matter if winters bone wasn’t well known or mainstream, I never said it was, but it did lead to an Oscar nomination which leads to more movie roles and popularity If a relatively unknown actor/actress gets nominated then that is their break out role
FoxHound1414~It does matter. If you believe it doesn't than that's your opinion. It matters in the sense that talent doesn't equate marketability, it doesn't equate popularity. There might be a few exceptions but for the majority, it's mostly marketability. If one is marketable and is semi talented, then one can command a higher salary. I see alot of excellent unknown actors and actresses in abundance in Britain, in Scotland, Sweden, in plays, etc. These people are super talented, but that doesn't equate to stardom or money. It's who you know, what company are willing to take a risk on you and market you. If you deny this fact, then I can't help you. You are entitled to your opinions.
Terrie Smith What I was trying to mean was her Oscar nomination through winters bone is what gained her initial popularity Also I agree she has only stayed popular because of her marketability and not necessarily talent
TOTALLY. Nothing against Lawrence but I think Emma Stone deserves way more recognition. In my opinion she's the better actress. I think since silver linings playbook people overrate Jennifer too much.
If you ever pay attention she is ALWAYS taking off her shoes! She even told stories that in them she had her shoes off! So obviously she’s not a big high heel person? Which means that she’s going to trip sometimes! 🙄
LOVE JENNIFER!! all those haters are so rude and they're just jealous that jen can be so natural and herself on screen. she deserves whatever she has, especially the oscar!!
I believe that people like JLaw are those who are easily judged and mostly misunderstood. She seems very outspoken and straightforward, and that doesn't work with society. She's like the person who would do whatever the f she wants, and doesn't give a damn about what your going to say. I believe that some people like/love her because they're very open-minded or see that they want to be like her, because not everyone can stand people's judgements. Just like what everybody else says, they can't stand her honesty. She seems to be a good person, like if you watch what people say about her, you can see that they say that she's amazing or sweet. That's because I think that people like her shouldn't be judged right away, like she is nice and sweet to people that have connections with her. You need time to know her and she needs time to know you. She just doesn't fit the "norms" or "wants" of the society for a celebrity, like what should you be is someone who's always "nice", "knows when to stop saying stuff even though they're fine to be said", or "thinks about all the possible ways of being judged by the media before they speak", but she's the total opposite of that. Which is why I think there's a lot of conflict and hate around her. I'm more of a person who thinks of everything possible before I do something, so that's why I admire a part of her. I've also seen a lot of local and foreign people who were like JLaw which explains why they're hated or disliked by people. I don't defend her for anything that she may have done that was actually mean or rude, but I just wanted to show y'all a perspective that may explain things around her.
Hell, I like Jennifer Lawrence better than all those celebs criticising her put together. Crystals are nuts, Lohan is a drinker, M. Cyrus. is clearly jealous, and Joan Rivers... who is she?
With Lindsey I don’t think what her sister said made any sense because I think Jennifer meant it as a joke because of the roles Lindsey played. But I think that, that was meant as a joke and not as an insult.
