Why do you have to be discreet? If you were family you tell a human to take a shower and use soap .. I have no problem with it .. nor would I if someone told me. Hence no one ever had too.
I get embarrassed when I don't bathe and shower on a regular basis!!!😮😢 😩 And I make less than $50,000 a year!!!! I take pride in my appearance!!!! Even though I am not that attractive!!! I like to look professional and smell decent! Even if Im not going to WORK ! I still take a showers on my day offs!!!😮 I still take showers before I go out in public! These freaking millionaires can't shower and groom themselves!!!! What are they LAZY!!!! I learned the value of showering and bathing when I was a little kid!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂

Right…the audience can’t tell or smell you on the big screen or the telly, so not bathing because it helps the character well that doesn’t make any sense whatsoever!! It’s gross, inconsiderate, rude, unhygienic and downright disgusting!!
OK, I can understand “METHOD ACTING”. They don’t use modern cleansing products. So after the day’s shoot, do they go to their air conditioned homes and other modern amenities. Is it rather they are lazy or just don’t care.
I dont know about the folks being talked about here but I prefer cleanliness then comfort. Being able to smell yourself should be a pleasant experience. At least for me, just sayin
There is no need of an extensive grooming to smell good. They just need to take a shower, brush their teeth and use a good deodorant. And for method acting in historic settings, same thing goes. People did wash themselves as often as they could and perfume was used in ancient Egypt and Babylon. People used oils as well, herbs and various fruits such as lemon. People washed themselves in rivers and lakes and many ancient cultures such as the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Chinese and Japanese washed themselves in public baths. I think it's a myth that in all cultures in history people smelled bad.
@@Melinda8162 yes she just gives me a sticky vibe. I’d definitely wash after touching her. Oh and I think there’s a lot of dog hair on her as well. She seems the type to have 15 dogs in her house.
Kourtney Kardashian was probably humiliated by Khloe and Scott who said she smelled horrible. I feel bad for her but you can use natural things and not smell bad.
They all need to respect others and the people they work with. How lazy can you be? A daily bath or shower is not that difficult. Sometimes I think it’s an act of defiance by not bathing.
Uumm, okkkk!!! I'm a 38yo woman, and I've had a sweating problem all my life!! I can't help it, y'all!!!! I just sweat more than normal women!! But I still take showers and wear deodorant 😂😂
I worked for a car dealership we had a lot porter who stunk so bad a young kid hel stunk so bad that when he got into a. Car the smell stayed in the car ugh so they told him to clean up or he was gone did not do it so they fired him sad I can't believe his parents did not tell him or he just did not care sad
I wonder if some costumes hold smelly sweat. Costumes worn under intense theater lighting are hot. How can we guess how hot JD became while active as the Captain? Otherwise, he would be smelly from his smoking habit.
@@margaretschaffner9133 Of course they can afford to deodorize costumes. But a lot of responsibilities are delayed or overlooked for various reasons. I worked for Northwestern Costume company right out of high school. They provided costumes for my state’s regional theaters which made great profit. I saw costumes reworked, realtered and accidentally found after years of being misfiled. I was initially amazed at their inventory and how heavy those costumes can be. Who knows, maybe JD wore the costume off the lot too often for them to be intercepted for maintenance. The costume was supposed to be low-maintenance, scruffy. Do you know any ex-smokers who admit, after quitting, that they had no idea how much the smoke permeated their surroundings?
