Join us a complete tour of the BEAUTIFUL Celebrity APEX RETREAT, areas on the cruise ship dedicated to the passengers booked in a suite. This ship is the 2nd to newest ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet. The APEX is the 2nd ship in the "Edge series" class ships and it is truly amazing. We always learn so much when we stay in a different cabin category and this was no exception. The Retreat on any Celebrity cruise is a wonderful experience however this was one for the books, the APEX is an incredible ship no matter which cabin type you book and the Retreat is icing on the cake if you choose to stay in a suite on this ship. Whether you've been on the Celebrity APEX in the past or not, you are bound to see and learn of something new that you did not know before.
Jon and I have been on over 100 cruises and over the last few years, MANY of those have been on the different Celebrity cruise ships. Thank you for taking the time to share this tour! I know this was a year+ ago, but do you recall how busy the areas were? I know you were the first ones back on the ship after your B2B so you were able to film while it was empty, but was that typical? We don't like things totally overcrowded, but it's also nice to have the opportunity to make new friends, especially in the lounge!

In general the ships have been pretty full recently. But it’s still a good experience anyway.

@@TheTravelingGamblers We typically do the Yacht Club which they do a good job of keeping from getting too full but we're getting ready to do the Retreat on the Apex and I've been told it's significantly more busy, so I was just curious. Thank you for the reply!

Sadly, a Retreat cruise is not on our budget, but we are on Asent in Sept,.'25 (Sunset Veranda). We had to CX our Edge cruise back in 2020 for Covid and this is the first Celebrity we have booked since. Long time coming but cannot wait. Joyce, I follow a lot of RU-vidrs cruisers and I like yours the best as you are the most detailed and info packed vlogger! Go girl! And thanks!

You did a great job presenting the areas but I'm not seeing the big deal. The lounge is kind of blah. The deck areas gray,, black and white. Luminae looks nice mostly because it has pops of red. I like the suites better on the Solstice ships but then again, I favor the Solstice ships overall. The original, not revolutionized, Michael's Club retreat lounge area was much nicer IMO.

I’ve been on the Haven on NCL. It looks comparable if not better. We’re going on the Apex in April 2023. With a sky suite. Looking forward to comparing NCL and Celebrity. I’m impressed with your video.

We went on NCL years ago when our kids were younger, I think, perhaps before the heaven even existed. Maybe someday we will give that a try as well. We did the move up in 2022 and got all the Retreat perks - drink package, etc. I'm not sure if it has changed.

You keep the perks from the original booking. The suites higher than the Celebrity suites do get the extra perks such as unlimited specialty restaurants. Thank you for watching.
