That was Anne Rice's house. (and it's a major player as a setting for one of her series of books) but she sold it a few years ago and now lives in CA

I read that recently about her too. Why did she leave New Orleans? Her husband Stan Rice passed away and I know she had a child who passed away many years ago. Maybe too many sad memories?
