CELEBRITY Homes Tour of HOLMBY HILLS 

For a moment I felt what its like to have a cool mansion.

My Dad is a HUGE George Harrison fan. So, when Harrison came out with "Got My Mind Set on You", my Dad put this one song on both sides of a cassette tape. On drives, he'd play it and us kids would sing in non stop for hours. I thought my mom was going to jump out of the car, like Pee Wee Herman, when he was singing with the hobo in the train car.

Streisand's original house was demolished after she sold it out 20 years ago. She's living in an oceanfront Estate at Point Dume in Malibu.

Can you imagine just how much money you must have to afford a 100K a month lease? On another note, I have worked with people who worked for the telephone company and also my UPS driver tells me there are some pretty famous people in my area and of course he won't betray their privacy.

Bingeing the lion’s vids today... These videos always leave me down an Internet rabbit hole researching the subjects/destinations… I love it! Thanks for your tour! Just in case, Rod Stewart lived in 321 before moving to the present Beverly Crest. Spelling Manor and Farrah Fawcett & Lee Majors were neighbors. Rod's son Sean and Randy Spelling were buds..

In just a few minutes you can see where Michael Jackson lived his final days , Mick Jagger held court & Elvis Presley & George Harrison had impressive homes. The well to do , like their statues !

These mansions are magnificent ~ exquisite both inside and out. I can't even imagine living in a place like that. Interesting to know their histories and who the former occupants were. Thanks for showing us around, Jordan!

The house Sunny & Cher lived in in separate areas of the house was when they owned the Tony Curtis House which was on Carolwood on the other side of Sunset. There is a gate now at Sunset. Before it was a cul-d-sac with a gate to the property. One evening some friends and I were crusing and we turned on Carolwood. When we turned around to drive back out, Greg Allman ws driving in in a Rolls Royce. Burt and Loni did live in that house you showed. One time I was driving on the street (worked for Gray Line Sightseeing Tours) with people in a van and Loni was driving in in her Burgundy Rolls Royce. She waved at us. People were thrilled. One time going by Ray Bolgers old house on a Sunday morning with a bus of tourists, he was watering the grass between the sidewalk and the street. He took the hose and acted like he was going to squirt the bus. He smiiled and waved. Another time was going by Gene Kelly's house. We were on the other side of the street. We were in a van. Buses had then been forbidden in Beverly Hills. He saw us and yelled at us to get out. He wasn't very nice. They people sure didn't think highly of him after that. Gray Line back in 70's was the only bus company that was allowed to tour homes. WE had specific streets we could go down. Could not stop at any homes and drive no slower than 15 miles per hour. When deregulation came in they had to allow other buses to go in and they ruined it and they kicked alll buses out. They got vans then to do the tours through homes. It allowed us to do more and go into Holmby Hills where buses would not fit. Saw Alana Hamilton outside their home one time. she smiled and waved.

I'd like the income to afford but not live in those huge mansions. Give me a craftsman or Victorian house any day.

Jordan, you are the ultimate tour guide! I am floored by the gorgeous gates, lavish landscaping, and exquisite exteriors of the houses. The home interiors would probably blow me away.

It was a great Vlog but seeing Homes of Gable, Lombard and Disney who are now gone made me sad.

Funny , the older I get the less I care about having a mansion and more about where I live, I can think of many more place to live than here.

The sculpture of the old gentlemen holding a baby in each hand just outside George Harrison’s home to me symbolizes God, clearly.

That's EXACTLY the kind of day out in Beverly Hills I would do too! I think across the street from the "MJ" house was the old Jayne Mansfield/ Dean Martin/ Englebert Humperdink/ Nicolas Cage house. "The Pink Palace".

These houses look more like prisons than homes

I have never seen so many of the beautiful tree's and plants, being in Canada, i have never seen a palm tree in person. The trees with the beautiful red flowers and the purple flowers in this vid are new to me too.

As others have said, the former George Harrison home is the Frederick R Weisman Art Foundation. Weisman bought it fully furnished in 1982 and kept the furniture, which is still in it today. The home was designed by Gordon Kaufmann, who designed Greystone. It's filled with amazing 20th century modern art; the list of artists is astounding, and includes several Warhols, a few Magrittes, and other works by Lichtenstein, Picasso, Giacometti, Oldenburg, etc. The building next door that you show at 11:15 is the Weisman's annex. It's about 10,000 square feet over two levels and he and his wife Billie had it built in 1991 to house some of their larger works and as a place to hold events. It's part of the museum tour today.

Someone who also called Holmby Hills his home in the latter years of his life was Humphrey Bogart who lived there with his wife Lauren Bacall and his two children Steven and Leslie. He died in their home from cancer in January, 1957.

When I used to hang there in the 70's Carolwood was home to the Walt Disney home, Rod Stewart's home, Gregory Peck's place, and more..

Jayne Mansfield 's Pink Palace was on corner of Carrollwood & Sunset . She & then husband Mickie Hargitay lived there . Her home was sold after her death & had several owners including Englebert Humperdinct. Then a greedy buyer purchased it & 2 other lots & tore them down to build Owlwood where Michael Jackson passed.

I was supposed to see Guns N’ Roses on August 15 in Tampa Florida at Raymond James stadium but they got postponed due to covid 19 so I have to wait till 2021 to see Guns N’ Roses. And I was also supposed to see The Rolling Stones on July 5 in Tampa Florida at Raymond James stadium bu they also got postponed due to covid 19 so I have to wait till 2021 to see The Rolling Stones. And I was also supposed to see ozzy osbourne on May 31 in Tampa Florida at mid Florida Amphitheater but ozzy osbourne canceled his 2020 tour because he is battling Parkinson’s diease so I have to wait till 2021 to see ozzy osbourne.

I was at the party when they put the Elvis house up for sale. My friend listed the house...she worked with Hilton and Hyland. It was a nice party. I got to see Elvis's pool room. It was a very cool home. We had dinner in the part the lady built by the tennis courts. I also was in the Sonny and Cher home. A man named Ghazi M Aita owned it and he had me to dinner a few times. I'm lucky enough to live near Henry Moore the sculptor and often visit. It looks like one of his works are in George Harrison garden. Little tit bit - he left tape explaining about Paul's death by a car accident in the 60's. Many young girls would have commited suicide, so it made sense to keep his death quiet, supposedly for 2 weeks and we all know the 2 weeks turned into eternity. The guy who replaced him disappeared off the planet - odd eh?. The stress I beleive, killed Brian Epstein. Of course it's ridiculed but I researched - we're the gullible ones 🤔
