Watched this as we are sailing on the same cruise in 2 days time. You two are absolutely hilarious, thoroughly loved your video - such a shame you haven't uploaded the whole holiday yet. Brilliant video lads, I wish you were on our cruise, although my wife and I are more of the grey haired demographic that you found on board!!! 🙂. Love the video. Early vlogging days for you guys, I can see. Would be good if you could let us know what the quality of the food is. I think you were too pissed at the time. To say.😂 The cruise monkeys always are, too. They get around it by doing a voice-over. Just a thought? We go on this cruise on Monday, so we are looking for as many tips as pos. Not too drunk to be able to tell you that we found the food quality to be really good and absolutely no complaints in that regard at all. I’d suggest booking your slots in the Grand Cuvee restaurant NOW if you are at all able to, by the time we were on the cruise it was too late to be able to book anything other than like a 5.30 meal. We made the mistake of not doing this and several nights we waited up to 45 minutes with a buzzer, and often that didn’t even ring and we had to go back and ask what was going on. The buffet was very very full at breakfast and lunchtimes on sea days too, it made it practically impossible for either of us to pop their on our own as you need at least two people, one to find and save the table whilst the other gets food. Try some of the speciality restaurants especially if you have onboard credit to use, we enjoyed the Lawn Club Grill, Sushi on Five and the Tuscan Grill. And yes very much early days, still working on our “style”, we might do a more direct talking to camera moment about the whole experience later in the series if vids! Have an awesome cruise!
Thanks for that. We have booked la petit chef. Tuscan and lawn. I hate the buffet for lunch, too busy. Do they not open MDR when at sea? And do you request a table for 2 in the evening? We always say happy to share, and usually, we are ok for wait time in MDR. If not, I definitely will book now. Hate that, You don't know haw you will be after a trip. @@debbiem3146 Yes they do actually open the main dining room on sea days so that's also an option. We always did request a table for two, seems to be set up more for that though the tables are so close together it's still easy to chat to your neighbouring diners if you're in that kind of mood. We did Petit Chef on the Beyond, was quite good fun and definitely something a bit different. Just working on the next episode, hopefully should be up Sunday, it will cover Oslo and Copenhagen!
