Also many of Gladys biggest hits are actually covers of country music hits and she admitted she loved country songs as did The Pointer Sisters ! All races contribute to great music. They were with Capitol ! Vee jay and another label got copies of Beatles songs illegally and released on their label contributing to their demise after suits. I thought the Beatles were always overrated !
