Nice review! I STRONGLY SUGGEST playing the b-sides, eight, nine, and maybe c-sides. Even if you have already beaten them with assist mode they are a super fun challenge that can be well worth the time put into it. I had a little under 3k deaths my first 1-7 playthrough and over 9k on chapter 9 after that. As for achievements I don't see anything wrong with using assist mode but I'm sure it isn't nearly as fun or rewarding doing it that way. Celeste was really the first game for me where I could sit on one screen for over an hour and still keep going without getting too mad. Also if you want more celeste without the difficulty of the b-sides I'd recommend checking out the mod "Strawberry Jam". It is a huge community collab with a bunch of mappers making a variety of short maps at different levels. The beginner lobby is around the same difficulty as the a-sides. Anyway, it's always fun to see peoples thoughts on this game. All of this is for fun and while I have really enjoyed my time spent playing the harder levels, I know not everyone will have the same experience.
I.... Wanna play something else for a while. Haha like I said I can go back to my old game and pick up where I left off next time I have a 2d platformers itch. Thanks for the comment and sharing your experience with Celeste! It really was a great game, I'll need to check out "Strawberry Jam" mod sometime to!
I have! Good game, love the rock music!! I was a bit salty when i first played it, got some flack on my steam review (for posting it negative instead of positive), re-covered it on youtube in my first year of making videos. It's old, and like all my old stuff: I don't like watching it. But here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EIYmcbQUHu4.htmlsi=PyedHMvVEBD8Z4IK

@@Atratzu Age of Empires 2: DE is a game that they did a really good job on. Original was from 1999, but people played it so much that in 2013 a 3rd party company got permisssion and HD upscaled it and put it on Steam. THAT did so well that they made like, 5 expansions. Then Microsoft brought them in and rebuilt the game from the ground up.
