Although I absolutely love the house we live in, that does not make it a home. What makes it a home is the love in that house. I love the changes you made on your sampler. The teal house really spiced it up. Great job!!👏

My house is an apartment, but what makes it a home is that it welcomes me with all my happy memories and things I have inherited from my Mom and Dad. I miss them every day, but I am surrounded by beautiful reminders of them.

Celeste... that angel is perfect! Keep us in the loop on how all the specialty stitches are going. Home is where I feel loved and safe and comfortable. My husband and I travel quite a bit since retirement and EVERY time we walk in the door to our house, I feel "HOME". I love traveling and I LOVE being home.

Thank you for another nice video. Home. Our house is our home because of the accumulation of items from my childhood, my husband’s childhood, our daughter’s life, our dog bowl, needlework items and all the things that are not important because of any value, but because they carry memories and traditions handling and looking at these items. We’ve built our nest on these items.

I too live in a small apartment alone for several years now; I’m 73 and been stitching since the late 70’s! In my home I’m surrounded by things that were my two grandmothers and my mom in a china cabinet, my collection of cookbooks and books, my needlework. I’ve learned at different times in my life to be content within myself in my Faith and hobbies. I enjoy being “part of your tribe”! Thank you for what you bring to this community! I live in Glendale AZ so it is HOT here too.

My home is extra special to me. It is an empty nest, but it is the longest I have ever lived in one place. I grew up in foster homes and moved alot in early adulthood but now I love being retired and home! Thank you for a wonderful Flosstube!

I love my home. The reason it’s a home is the special people who live here. My husband. Children. And we have long term house guests. Exchange students. All our friends can come in a moments notice. Plus, we invite the spirit of the Lord there everyday. Thank you for your generous gifts.

I so appreciate your taste is charts. HOME Jesus is the center of our home. We have raised five children, have five great in-laws, and 10 grands. We will be celebrating 50 years together in August, and feel very blessed. I agree, it's the people that make a house a home.

Your son was doing great! My home is my favorite place to be. I love this house and land, my treasures saved from our parents, sisters that have gone on and those things we've found together. But, mainly what makes my home my most favorite place is my husband. I'm so blessed. Our home is based on relationship with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit!

The things that make our house a Home is when my kids and grandkids can come over anytime, they walk into my kitchen and look for a snack and grab something and give me hugs and chat A bit. I Always want my kids to know they are welcome anytime any day.And my granddaughter who is 10 going on 17 will say Oh gramma Oh gramma.......Makes me laugh every time. She says it sweetly but doesn’t think I been around the block a few times 💜💚💜Love family.

I lovingly refer to my home as a glorified bunkhouse because my husband is an advid hunter and we have many mounts on the walls. Wall space is a premium in our little home! I agree though, without our faith it would be utter chaos! Love the little video of your son. Very talented.

Love walking into our home filled with lots of cross stitch and all the stuff collected over the years. We just celebrated our 58th anniversary. Also we are great grandparents now. Love hearing about your family and faith!

What a great question! We have lived in the same house for 38 years. It is my favorite place in the whole world. But what makes my house a home is the people that I love the most are a part of every nook and cranny through all the memories that have been made here. My sweet husband and I raised all four of our kids here. We homeschooled them all. They are all married now and homeschooling their own children... eleven grandkids in all. We have family get togethers often and all the laughter reminds us of when there was just six of us and now we are 21. This house is a home because of the family the Lord has blessed us with.

Not living in the town I grew up in or the one we raised our family in my now home does ground me by the things I see when I look around our home that bring those days and people that are dear to me that I see a few times a year and those that are no longer with us close in wonderful memories

Loved your video!! My home is wonderful here in Nashville but what makes it a true home is first the love of our Lord Jesus as being the center of our home and also the love of my five children (that I also home schooled) and my seven grandchildren and a new grandbaby on the way. It’s the memories I cherish from them all so even when I’m alone stitching I have the memories of the love that was shared inside my walls of my home that comforts my heart. There’s nothing like it!!!💝💖

Great video, Celeste. I think what makes this house my home is my husband. I still refer to my previous house “home” because it is where we raised out girls, my husband had remodeled almost the entire house and yard, we had large family get-togethers there when my folks were still alive, we hosted so many holidays there where the whole family would come. We are older now and can’t host the dinners any more. This current house doesn’t have the memories.

My dear friend stitched the Celeste angel for me and she is beautiful. You are very smart and won’t have any trouble with the specialty stitches. My HOME is a safe place for me to be myself. This is the first time in my life I have lived alone and so to make it feel like home without my children was a challenge. When I moved into this apartment I filled it with things that I made or others made for me. That way I’m surrounded by everyone I love. Thank you for another great floss tube!!

It’s such a good question to ponder.. I’ve noticed myself thinking about it more and noticing that every corner of every room have a special memory and that is the real comfort, the memories.

I feel your pain Celeste. I live in Houston too. I've gotten lazy in my old age and this heat is no joke. I do a lot of grocery pick up for the crazy reason that I don't want to walk across hot cement to get inside the store. Lazy, right? I've lived here most of my life (born here) and as I get older, the heat gets less tolerable. Enjoyed the video and let's pray that the fall comes quickly.

I’m not sure if this book series has been recommended yet but author Jennifer Chiaverini has a lovely series that revolves around quilters. I believe there are 24 books now and they are fantastic! I’ve already read the first 5 from my library in two weeks and I’m working on book six now. Highly recommend!

Enjoy your videos son much but it's hard to hear you. So I thought it was me. I have to watch on desk computer not cell phone. And have to up volume on it. I watch your progress and catch alittle talk. No other floss channel have problem. Maybe you just have a soft voice. ❤
