I can't believe more than a year has passed since Farewell DLC and there hasn't been a proper extension of the last segment- (Congrats to this person for doing a 15 minute extension meanwhile) ~ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lT50B3JXVp8.html
At some point you're just flowing through the challenges. Then you hit the one trick you can't seem to do.. Freaking crystal maze with limited dashing on a block timer..
Addicted to the struggle? YES I AM. Just for this song! I didn't even notice until i was floating in the upwinds passage and had some time to chill. The part where the violin repeats the synths just got me shivers. This level is the perfect metaphor for "Overcoming something" and I have more feelings towards this than to any other videogame song right now. This will always remind me of the struggle i had for one week with farewell. What an incredible and unique experience. I think no other game ever felt so rewarding while being so incomprehensible hard (not even Dark Souls etc). Just just had so much meaning. ONE WEEK! God, this game. I wonder if I'll ever put this to the sider of it will acompany me through the next years just like Hades did before. Going for the moonberry now and then see how many golden berries i can get before im gonna try some mods. LOVE THIS GAAAMEEE.
how does this not have any comments and just 10 likes after 2 days, IT'S **CELESTE** OST IT'S BEAUTIFUL (on a serious note, thanks for uploading this it's helped me get over a loss)
Beating this game was certainly a great experience. Farewell will be one of my favorite chapters, beating it was awesome. Same to getting the Moon Berry...all that happened a few days ago, my god. Just like Hollow knight, this game knows how to make me Keep playing it. After a break im gonna jump into the modding community to see whats up there. Lena Raine, awesome job on the OST. Fabulous, makes me wanna break into tears sometimes.
damn i just completed farewell, i gotta say this chapter made me 100% cry, the instrumental is above this planet, its just, too much, its really beautiful
still shorter than the last room, seriously farewell is like an A-side, then a B-side, AND THEN THE LAST ROOM CONTAINS THE PARTS OF A C-SIDE fun fact: Farewells death skull is the only A-side than matches up with a level's C-side
i remember when i was first here and i died time after time and eventually one death i was like "alirght this gonna be the run" then i get a cutscene telling me to not give up who knew dying at a game so much would do that
Such a great game. Taken me a quarter of a year to get back into it after unfortuntely stumbling into the toxic side of the community. so many empaths. Don't be a toxic one, it kills a game off faster than anything else when people make it overly personal.
@@CaymenEditz in a way it surprised me in a way it didn't. Don't get me wrong i'm accustomed to toxicity from people by now. This is what having a waifu and being unafraid to hide the fact will do for you. Nonetheless I was surprised because the part that is toxic isn't just a little toxic, it's extremely toxic and I didn't expect that from a platformer game like this. I was not surprised in the sense I know by now every game or thing that exists online has a toxic side, it's just the way it is. It really does kill something off fast though, it's not cool to be outright disrespectful to your fellow gamer or anyone for that matter. I tend to not wanna be around somewhere when it gets like this.
The game took me two years on and off to fully complete the b and c sides the first time. The core c side kept getting me. Then I beat the game in less than a week after coming back to it recently. Farewell took me 4 hours straight and I honestly don't regret it. I love this game very much. Also, something that constantly goes through my mind at the end is the mental image of the bird busting out a whole string instrument set and playing it while Madeline sings the notes of the song. I don't know why that keeps popping into my head. Just kind of wanted to share this, sorry for rambling if anyone sees this.
@@cjgamer0983 Please yes, because I loved Farewell all the way through and despite spending 15 hours on it total through 3 runs, 12 of those being on the first, I still wanted more from it.
So, in the description, there's this video... I just used the footage and looped it seamlessly, just like the track. I really don't know how it was made, but I love it!
yet, it's not always that easy... normally, "extended" videos on youtube do put the track on loop, making an "extended version" kinda pointless. however, what I try to do, is to have a seamless transition in the end/beginning. One that doesn't break the immersion. This track in specific, is kind of special, because it is composed in sections, which all loop individually in relation to the room you're at in the game. So, my goal with this extended video was to loop the last section of "Farewell", which is also called "Farewell", over and over, seamlessly, for one hour. Because I really wanted to hear it for myself, and as it didn't exist the way I wanted to hear it, I had to make it myself.
