If Stellaris has anything that can absolutely dumbstruck all of Warhammer 40k and make the Chaos gods and Tyranid Hivemind become anxiously expotentially worried it's the Gargantuan Quasarcraft that would do it. The thing is the size of a Birch World with repairing a almost billion amounts of hull, armor, and shields with damage relative to a billion to boot. The king of Celestial ships is worthy enough to fight against the massive navies and ships from the Interim Coalition of Governance of Xeelee Sequence and the civilization from Lensman universe. Upgrade it with any others mods or submods you might have gotten yourself a galaxy tier busting weapon almost Gurren Lagann style. If that vessel popped into the Warp you may have a thousand quadrillion dead Warp entities all cleared out. And if it faced a entire Hive tendril by itself the tendril's trillions of bio ships will not stand a chance because it came to the wrong galaxy.
The Gargantuan Quasarcraft pilot to the absolutely evil Warhammer 40k factions especially to the Chaos gods and the Tyranid hivemind. "Say Hello to my little friend!" He proclaims as he activates the weapon systems which spamms projectiles that turns quadrillions of biomass and Warp born entities to atomic dust with the fire plasma that had the potency to cleanse thousands of clusers of stars at once and shatters interdimension barriers.
One thing I absolutely Love about the Celestial Warships are the sheer showing of our increase in power as our civilization advanced. We went from the Basic Corvette fleets, to treating Solar Systems as Battleships, Planets as Cruisers and Moons as Destroyers.
@@pieterfaes6263the question then remains are celestial ships the pennical of warship technology or is it possible to turn entire galaxies into a warship with the quasar gun as main weapon, then if so can you turn galaxy clusters into ships or would there even be a point?
Yep with all those weapons and defenses and supporting infrastructure these Stellaris Empires would have the power and population to rival the Interim Coalition of Governance of Xeelee Sequence and the civilization from Lensman universe.
This is a awesome video Red King. I love seeing analysis on these massive structures of these Stellaris mods. If the Stellaris factions of Gigastructural Engineering & Ancient Cache of Technologies and it's varies submods with terrastructures had all of these types Celestial warships, the productive facilities, and set up weapons in big enough numbers to be navies they would be enough to be a significant major threats to nations and empires as powerful as the Civilization from Lensman's universe and the Interim Coalition of Governance from Xeelee Sequence two major galactic powerhouses with a huge population to draw manpower and industry and the infrastructure of billions of inhabited worlds to create humongous militarized navies and ships of their own that would make the Forerunners of Halo look wanting. I could imagine the Gargantuan Quasarcraft would be a threat of great magnitude it would make the Interim Coalition of Governance take this vessel as a extreme serious threat. A birch world vessel with the structured durability to withstand such insane movements. Nearly a billion hull, armor, shield, and damage on it's stats. It's like it's trying to reach Gurren Lagann style of scale as much as the game can possibly handle. These vessels and structures would be something that be great to use even in the most grim sci fi realities. Against their forces of adversity. Someone should write a fanfic about a pilot on board his Gargantuan Quasarcraft in the Warhammer 40k galaxy or something. Somebody did a concept like that with a Planetary Annihilation character in the Expanded Universe Star Wars galaxy on sufficient velocity it was great to read. To the Chaos gods and Tyranid Hivemind and their quadrillions of forces "Say Hello to my little friend!" Unleashes a endless barrage of nebula busting weapons of pure quasar energy. All while a bunch of Eldar, Orks, Custodes, Imperial citizens, Imperial Fists, and Iron Warriors are trying navigate the ship's hulls being trapped within hundreds of thousands of miles of free material space just for them. Custodes thinking this Blood game is far too extreme even for them and the Iron Warriors and Imperial Fists thinks there is no way for them to fortify and siege this place. As machines take care of the place all controlled by the hypercognitive pilot with insane mental processing reaction timers that are almost as good at processing massive stacks of information as the Gravemind can. Seeing all within his Gargantuan Quasarcraft and directly controlling machines and technologies within it and are extentions of it at will.
I think I managed to build the stellar system craft once. I need to get through another campaign and get to the late game gigastructures, they are always so cool.
I kinda wish they changed things so that you can weaponize planets earlier but not move them. That you can make stationary celestial weapons without an ascenion perk but that you need it to attach engines.
@@TheRedKingAnother thing I would prefer is if they had the kilostructures and megastructures synarize with each other. That instead of 1 giga structure you fill a system with megastructures that make an effective giga structure. Kilostructures or superstructures is something I wish the base game had.
Too bad a weaponized solar system ain't enough to crush some funny Blokbois. Wish we could built an Original Ark from ACOT, rather than the Herculean. That might be enough Dakka to break my computer trying to process the numbers.
And then watch when the reballancing update invalidates this whole video by severely nerfing moons and disabling planet/systemcraps (by default.) When will that be out? Soon(tm) according to TTFC
Just a note on the celestial warships: There is a submod for Gigastructural Engineering & more that’s called "the Gargantuan Quasarcraft", basically a mobile QSB and it’s proof that there is no such thing as a gun that is too large
@@factualhat3018United Fleet is one that I can think of, high-end fuckers one shotting O-Class Systemcraft like it's nothing if it weren't for the mass Corvette spam being used as frontline before the Systemcraft. Would be interesting to have a breakdown on the United Fleet tbh.
So i managed to unlock it via console just to see it in action. It takes up 99.9% of the system it flies in making visibility impossible and …a small bug, its fleet name keeps reassigning thusly “resetting” the ship further making it impossible to use it as a fleet/system/cluster destroyer.
Gigastructures is such an insane mod I refuse to play without it. It makes absolutely no sense how building some of these things is even POSSIBLE but who cares I have an entire solar system as my flag ship. (At least till someone went and made the GARGANTUANE QUASAR CRAFT mod that turns the quasi stellar obliterator into a ship)
You missed 2 Rather important Celestial Warships. But they are from the Submods so that's fine. One is the O Class Stellar Systemcraft from Gigas Stellar Manipulation: REBORN. Which is exactly what it sounds like a Stellar Systemcraft with an O class star at its core. Because the regular Stellar Systemcraft just didn't pack enough Dakka. And the other is the Gargantuan Quasarcraft where we bolted engines to the Quasi-Stellar Obliterator along with "secondary" weapon arrays and "hangers" that allow it to launch Attack Moons and Behemoth Planetcraft a strike crafts. Because we left the realms of sanity long ago, so why not just keep going.
@@defies4626 You know the saying the best weapon is one you never have to fire. Well if a Lightyear+ sized warship jumped just outside the solar system and stood there menacingly I would say immediate surrender would be the natural response. Also the fleet erasing setting on the Quasi-Stellar Obliterator is somewhat clunky.
Yep. Looks like Stellaris might have reached Xeelee and Faction Paradox tier of destructive potency once you get Omega technology the Stellarborne have and the Gargantuan Quasarcraft.
@@jhtrq1465 used to use them to prune hyperlanes and make neutron stars more easily than with fusion suppressors, iirc they changed the hyperlane pruning from the sun gun recently ish
@@sampfrost yep the hyperlanes removal was breaking the game, but IIRC you can still use the NDB's neutron stars to make forges. Fusion suppressors are still good because you can have several of them at the same times, while the NDB gas a cool down of 5 or 10y between system destruction
I love the modifier for shipwrecks that GE gives. I always put it at 200% because it allows nonsense like my current aquatic Fanatic purifier run. I have 3 clossai for drowning worlds. Not to mention 5 juggernauts
They're great bc the AI takes a long time to dismantle them, and the surplus of alloys lets me tech rush more. All to get Planets flying before the Cat kills us all
So... vanilla end-game empire is chilling out in their home galaxy after conquering it completely and then they intercept transmissions about galaxies of insane mods and frantically try to prepare for fight with insane modded civilisations. Funnily enough, if they can print out enough ships, they actually could win.
“That’s no moon, it’s a space station.” Planet Ship: you wish Solar system ship: that’s cute. Black Hole Battleship: Hahahaha Galaxy Battle cruiser:……. Palpatine: *_wipes a tear_* They grow up so fast. I am so proud of them
The planetary-crafts look to me like anti-dysonsphere fortification artillery and the system-sized one as anti-dyson clusters or birch worlds siege weapons.
I must say, it never dawned on me of using a planet as a warship, "WE HAVE TRIED CRUSADING WITH A PLANET IT IS NOT POSSIBLE" Helbrecht of the Black Templars
One thing that has disappointed me about the Systemcraft is that Gigastructures hasn't brought in a Nomadic empire that lives on one of those and just wanders through your galaxy demanding tribute from its enemies and sharing with its friends.
@@TheRedKingif Sins of the Solar Empire is capable of creating a tech that allows to move the capital to a space station instead of the planet - while not requiring a star, surly this game could… It’s a disappointment you can’t…..
An honorable mention should go to the Gargantuan Quasarcraft which if you couldn't guess by the name, is just a hyperquasar with a bunch of stuff around it that allows it to move. Its just a QSO that can move and defend itself. The only limit, is the games calculations. The thing can very easily erase itself from existence due to how much hull, armor, and shields the thing has. it is a submod though, its not part of the main gigastructures mod.
Do you think a Gargantuan Quasarcraft is big enough to be relative of the scale of these two celestial giants? Aurelion Sol from League of Legends and SCP-5909?
Honestly, it's not enough. There needs to be a galaxy sized warship. Hell, if we go that far, might as well have one that is multidimensional and uses the dimensional technology of the unbidden to operate.
@@karenbaldwin2867 to answer i'll quote our Emperor upon holy Terra "AT THE POINT IN TIME WHEN BULLETS CAN PASS THROUGH THE INTERDIMENSIONAL WALLS, WHEN FIREPOWER TAKES UP THE ENTIRETY AND ETERNITY OF SPACE AND TIME, ALL BEING STUCK IN A NEVERENDING LIFE AND DEATH CYCLE AS BULLETS RECOVER AND DESTROY THEIR BODIES IN QUICK SUCCESSION, NO ONE ABLE TO THINK ABOUT ANYTHING BUT THE SHEER FORCE OF THE BULLETS RAPIDLY FLYING LITERALLY EVERYWHERE IN THE MATERIUM, TURNING THE WARP ITSELF INTO NOTHING BUT A SEA OF SEMI-AUTOMATIC WEAPONRY. THEN THERE WILL BE ENOUGH DAKKA. OR, AT LEAST ALMOST."
Whenever I see the system crafts, I think of the Magog World Ship from Andromeda. That thing was insane, but these are even more powerful. The Abyss could only DREAM of something this destructive.
I remember building my first attack moon and I was so happy because it made me the premier superpower of the galaxy.....only to have it later destroyed alongside another attack moon and half my fucking navy because a fallen empire decided I was it's next target so that was fun
I dont know what to think about this mod. I love it but can see myself quickly hating it shortly after playing it. I feel like its rock, paper, scissors, PLANET!!!!
@@thebizzareczar usually the planets used will be uninhabitable continental or other Mars sized worlds, so the atmosphere will either be really thin or non-existent. Also why would they want an atmosphere as a shield? That thing will not regenerate at all if energy weapons hit it. Aside from that the rounds used by ships can most definitely pierce through an atmosphere.
@spartantraveler7251 if there's cities on the surface of some, I'd think there be some sort of artificial atmosphere there. It's not really about wanting an atmosphere as a shield but rather that it's already there, assuming said planet has one
Talking about space gun, you might forgot that there's 1 you're missing. The Maginot World's Defense Command Platform (can't remember the full name). That thing combined with buffs from the Maginot World itself can hold even several Planetcrafts
1. The Systemcraft is from Andromeda (90s TV show). 2. It's so absurdly big it wouldn't need weapons, it's mass would be so big it would just tear planets apart by flying within the Roche limit and knock stars out of their orbits. It wouldn't even need to be manned, you just point it at a system and that system goes byebye.
