Not as scary as seeing JESUS on judgement, it either Heaven or hell. JESUS is the true reality and Is coming very soon so judge the world with the 7 tribulations. Repent from you sin and turn to HIM. All that the devil created was a copy cat of how GOD did things. JESUS is the alpha and omega. HE is the true beginning and the end. Repent from your sin and turn to HIM. HE is reality, HE is all that you desired. I bless you in the name of JESUS so that you can do HIS will. I cast out all your demons out in the name of JESUS
I think Thanos’ origin just got deeper too. So him reducing life meant that the cycle of destruction and creation would slow thus acting to counter the Celestials directives. This also begs the question who the next big bad will be, and I’m thinking it will be Galactus. Because Galactus could be on his own mission to keep the Celestials numbers low as a mean to maintain balance in the cosmos. Eternity is also out there somewhere so I wonder if we’ll see the Living Tribunal.
I like the idea that Knull killed the celetial who's head is Knowwhere before Ego could be seeded. Thinking that a celestial seed could not survive without a host planet, Knull left Ego in the darkness to die. But, Ego survived and grew through gathering energy from the cosmic background radiation and eventually became what he thought he should.
I like the fact that we're being teased with the idea of Knull, Gor the god butcher should be weilding All Black if they keep to the comics seeing as its knull he witnesses laying the smackdown on a celestial I pray we actually get Knull
that likely just an accident, it is one thing if he told them about the Celestial inside the Earth and by removed half of the population, he helped delay it so other can find a way to stop the birth completely. Instead, he already think he work is done and destroyed the gauntlet, eventually Earth population will recover and hit the point for the Celestial to awaken.
I personally think that Ego was a seed that never got a planet to emerge from. But somehow still came to be on it’s own. He mentions that he was completely alone, i feel it’s impossible he doesn’t know about the other celestials. So maybe he lied. Or maybe he had a planet and just before he emerged, Galactus showed up and ate his birth planet and pooped him out as just a seed. Ate his body in the process.
Ego was made by The stranger as a science experiment. The stranger is a cosmic being beyond time so he could have created ego before the Big Bang and let him loose.
@@Nosirt but the stranger is a Alien created by a union of all the minds of his original planet, so he is just a guy what achieved god status, and Ego is his experiment, but this is in the 616 continuity, not all universes in the multiverse follows this narrative. In the mcu ego appears to be older than Stranger (if he exists in the mcu).
They actually do they follow the cosmic herichy to eh fullest degree they just care who dies because many more will be born the cosmic balance thanos mentioned they take quite literally u must not know much about them they literally pulled up on and killed a avatar of galactus because he was killing more life then was being born and it upset the cosmic balance
They just care about balance. If maintaining balance requires them to kill billions of people that’s okay. Life to them is a means to maintain balance so there isn’t chaos. Are they really maintaining balance for the sake of life on planets or are they trying to just make sure they survive as a species?
@@THED3ADLY7 well it's their litrally duty to spread life and maintain the balance, like how the eternals sole purpose is to protect humans from deviants talking about comics btw
@@4477superman Annihilation has other definitions as does decimation. If one uses a word with a definition in which you are unfamiliar it does not necessarily make it incorrect. Even if it irks you.
3:37 I believe that Ego is actually younger than Arishem and most of the other Celestials 6:13 Knowhere and Jemiah the Analyzer are separate Celestials. The Boot of Jemiah is simply named after him.
Most likely cause tha other person who killed knowhere is Dr.Doom in anotha alternate reality and since captain America n iron man were involved in tha comics when doom killed the celestial, then knull since they Introduced venom already and in tha future might focus on knull, probably in Thor love and thunder since tha villain is goin to be gorr tha God butcher and might use the sword knull used
@@joshuawilt4918 I find it interesting that the only reason they have this weakness to sonic sound and fire is because they're scared of it. Seems less of a weakness and more of just a psychological issue they have do to how the necrosword was forged.
The story behind Tiamut and the way they portray it in the movie is very interesting by saying that Tiamut him self agreed to him being sacrificed and helped them in favor of earth.
@@toastsloth4831 I mean, in the unimind they said they were connected to Taimut to help them stop the emergence, if Tiamut wasn't involved in the unimind, they would have not succeeded
I have to agree with the OP -- that Tiamut helped with the unimind. I also think that he was "killed" though seems lame. I would believe it would be more like he would be just put into stasis.
The celestial head of knowwhere was removed through knull, the symbiote god using the power of the first symbiote, the all black, also the weapon of choice for the main villain in the upcoming Thor love and thunder, portrayed by Christian bale, gorr the god butcher
I just watched this movie for the first time last night and I genuinely don't understand why people hate it so much. I was thoroughly enjoying myself from start to finish. Characters were well done and casted well. Especially Drueg. The only gripe I have is that Harry Styles is now in the MCU apparently but until I see him n a full-length film I can't really say how bad he is just yet. I love how they set up blade in the scene with the Jon Snow even if they didn't show his face that was definitely his voice. The scale of this film was almost an Avengers 1 level. And everything they set up I look forward to seeing how it plays out. So can someone please tell me what all the hate was about?
Probably because people didn't appreciate the eternals being homosexual or being represented by different ethnicities in general (made them comic inaccurate or something idk). I will agree its not the best marvel film out there but it was definitely better than Shang-Chi imo and the low ratings are not justified
@@saheelmayekar7570 Shang Chi has more heart than most of MCU, Eternals is a very good movie... actually we can't compare Eternals with other MCU movies because its just so insane scale
The Celestials being a part of the MCU really makes me almost wish Transformers were still a part of the MCU scheme! With Galactus and Unicron there would be a lot more to talk about when it comes to Celestials and what creates life in the Marvel Universe! I can’t wait for Galactus to make an appearance! 😃
3 questions: 1) So what MCU has been showing us, that Celestials have internal liquids and organs as opposed to pure energy? 2) When Sersi converted Tiamut to stone, where did Tiamut's energy go? We're talking about a Celestial seed popping. If the host was gone, then the energy should have gone somewhere or affect something on a planetary level. 3) How big is a MCU Celestial? In GOG2, they're as tall as buildings. But Nowhere's like planetary big. There's no way a sword can cut through that. Galactus shouldn't be as tall but FF4's, 2nd movie I think, he was bigger than earth. But since we're talking about god level powers here, changing size might not be a problem.
I had trouble with the sizes. One can stand on a planet, one is the size of a planet, one is much bigger than a planet and others are big enough to create stars in their hands.
@@mythicalirishman6346 it the comics they seem to change size from situation to situation. they are supposed to, or it's just failed presentation on the artist's part I don't know. doesn't really matter in a comic, they are big and super powerful, that's all that's important.
@@duarte2628 even the same celestial is depicted as different sizes at different times in the comics. But as I said, i don't think people should really pay attention to that. they are depicted as really big and super powerful, the actual dimensions aren't really that important.
I'm really excited for other cosmic entities such as Galactus eternity and living tribunal P:S i'm really hoping beyonder would be the villain for phase 4
Nope we more explanation about the conflict of asgardians and eternals they are kinda similar, not only that what about thanos being a eternal how become he doesn't have the same mission as the others. When thanos talked about balance why didn't the other eternals help him knowing he was doing what was told,it's all over the place.
@Mister Majestic it is confirmed he is a eternal,he is a eternal with deviant genes. Meaning he has a genetic mutation which makes him monstrous, his monstrous gene is strong to since thane is a deviant to well he is a deviant but also a inhuman I wonder what class that is.
@@zakariamore1575 thats the explanation in the comics. In the movie, we know that Thanos is likely an Eternal because of the introduction of Eros/Starfox who according to the dwarf thing (I forgot his name), is the brother of Thanos.
I truly feel this should’ve been the first movie to come out just form the fact it’s literally telling the story of how there marvel cinematic universe was shaped but at the same time its good where its at because it aligns with the events after the Avengers and everything with the newborn celestial this was a before and after movie if you get what i mean
The head of knowhere was chopped off by knull using a necrosword he also raised an army known as the symbiotes(venom) which could be the one at the end
@@phillipseymour8026 i also didn’t meant that. That so mislead and mix things up, I read the issue, I meant to the celestial that killed by him and covered in symbiote and killed by sentry
The celestial have been nerfed so hard, I mean existed before the multiverse did, the shd ge way powerful, ighess for the sake if story and shock, knull had to kill one
Thanos was right, his planet died due to a young celestial hatching. Not from over population, the scene where they first go there in infinity war. Starlord states about the gravity and the planet is off axis, caused by a celestial being hatched. He basicly saved every life across the universe, wither he knew it or not. Side note he hints at it but only really states that it "must be done" and only he "understands". He knows about them as thanos brother is a eternal and so is thanos in certain writing
Just to add a little bit of knowledge to the celestial Arishem. The Celestial Galactus was one of the 6 main Celestials and actually the oldest. Even though he was the oldest he feared one and only one creature in the whole universe. That creature was Arishem. PS There are statures of the eternals at the hall of eternity in thor love and thunder.
This could not be canon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But we already have one explanation for where the celestials came from and how the celestial head was severed. A creature named Knull existed in the universe before the celestials came to it. He believed that the darkness was perfect and as whole as it gets. Then the celestials came in. When they saw the darkness they stop your emptiness. They started making stars, planets, and life forms. He saw this as an affront to his perfect Darkness. He then made a forge far outside the universe. From there he made hundreds upon thousands of sentient blades. He called fees blades the Symbiotes. He sent them out into the universe to destroy all life. Knull used one of these blades to decapitate one of the celestials. Eventually (I don't remember how) they gained independence from Knull. They went from looking like blades, to turning into humanoid forms. They went back to the forge and made a planet out of themselves to imprison Knull. (It would be a small de-facto group that made up the evil symbiotes like Venom, Carnage, and a few others. Most symbiotes are actually peaceful beings that want to love and preserve life. Hence their imprisonment of knull who wanted to destroy it.)
With the new lore set up in eternals it would make sense to me if Ego isn't a true celestial, merely the severed prefrontal cortex of the Celestial that was killed and who's skull is now Knowhere. It retained some sentience but lost most of its memory and instinctually tried to reconstitute itself using the method seen in GotG vol 2.
Nah it was Knull who killed knowhere in the comics. So since Venom exists in the same universe as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, he exists in the MCU and therefore his god likely does too.
@@KeyIssues bruh the celestial overseeing earth literally came out if nothingness so sooooooomwhere its easy to concur knull is somewhere as venom exist in his universe just imagine giant black field on one end the celestial we have seen in eternals on the other waaaay across knull some where inbetween are the universe that has the mcu and somewhere in middle probbly closer to knull is venoms universe but thru time they are actually right on top of each other almost
To be fair, most of the Marvel comics and the MCU are.. different from one and another Like Sakaar, which was depicted as a dry planet in The Comics, yet in the Film's it is an Artificial Planet made of.... trash and.. garbage...
In the comics the person who created Venom's species decapitated the Celestia, his name is Knulll. They came into his universe of pure darkness and created light (like suns as shown in the Eternals). They when they created light he was able to see his shadow for the first time ever and turned it into All Black which is a sword and also the first symbiote ever created and he used it to kill the celestial that's at Nowhere. I'm hoping we see that at one point in phase 4 or 5. Would be really cool, especially because Venom is already in the MCU.
I know people are speculating that it is knowhere but in the comics it looks like it could be Eson The Searcher or The Progenitor?? I Dont Know. Just Saying.
“knull” killed a celestial right. In the comics at least and he cut a head of a celestial with his sword so I’m guessing that is the head of the celestial that knull killed that called “nowhere” and knull will be introduced later in the MCU
I wanna say that it was Knull using the Necrosword who beheaded the celestial, being that we know he did that to one, maybe this one, maybe not, but the MCU could completely change directions on that theory
Since venom has its own movie and the celestials have been introduced, I hope they introduce the Creator Of The Symbiotes AKA The Symbiote God Since he's known for killing one celestial in the comics.
What I appreciate thinking about it now is that this explains pretty well why there is so much life in the universes of marvel. That Celestials basically are to thank for it. And if they weren't around the universe (like ours will) would simply go dark one day, perhaps even devoid of any larg and advanced alien races.
What i dont get is that thanos' main schtick is preserving the resource of the universe. And in the eternals, the celestials are born to create new galaxies, then by that logic, universe's resource isn't finite since celestials can literally create galaxies out of nothing and more of them are being born. Glaring plothole from the MCU right there.
That’s if Thanos even knew anything about Celestials and the emergence. Remember Ajak was the only Eternal who knew Arishem’s actual plan. So no, not a plot hole. At least not until we learn more about Eros…
Thanos probably didn't know about the celestials and there purpose other wise he would have probably asked to become a eternal and help them with there goal
in etarnals the last scene part is where the guy finds the sword and that sword was used to behead that celestial by the ancestors and now that the guy found the sword he will behead the read 1 too
Nope nope nope nope. Its the sword of blacknight called the ebony blade and defenitly not big enough to even hurt a small celestial since they are bigger than planets. The sword you mean is the all black wich the god of symbiotes used to behead a celestial.
Could you imagine in real life if the celestials happened to be real and we as a species could harvest one of their heads. I wonder when they were mining the head if there was brain matter still left in there. Einsteins brain got divided across the earth for different scientists to examine. Ooh the stuff we could learn. Shows like this makes my imagination run wild. I love it
In some ways, with having the Eternals & the Celestials existing within the MCU, it really makes Thanos look like an anti-hero.... BUT his death is still completely justified due to his aggressive dictatorship.
If you had Celestials, among the Avengers, you could have like an upgrade in Avenger powers. In theory, the Celestials could be like 'Transformers.' You know? You have planets with so many quirks. And Celestials are the distillation of a destroyed planet. I just saw a clip, the other day, about a planet that is half super hot, and half super cold, and there is this strip of 'border land,' where something happens. You could have any kind of Celestial out there. And if they're around the Avengers and the Eternals, you get much more 'stuff,' that involves all the data our science world is accumulating through those super amazing optic ways to see and figure out the galaxies and beyond. And the special effects would naturally blow people's minds. When I started watching clips about planets that have characteristics that would wipe out a human in the blink of an eye, it started making me scared of what lies OUT there. Making Celestials into dudes and chicks, from those planets where humans cannot exist, you start to make people interested in what is beyond the Earth and the science of it. Plus. There is also something that is 'fantasy' related to this type of super sci fi stuff, and that is a dragon. Some people take magic plants and they see dragons and how powerful dragons are, and a lot of people have this same vision of a dragon. That they could do things to a guy like Thanos, that would make your head spin. So. Where do dragons, the undisputed masters and gods of fantasy fit in? Because basically a dragon has never died, which would make our 'dragon lore' due for a serious upgrade.
Is Jemiah actually creating an entire galaxy in that brief clip? If so, that would suggest he is literally millions of light years tall in size (or is this just the rule of cool?). Arishem and Ego would be practically invisible compare to him. He could probably swat them aside without even knowing it, which wouldn't make much sense. (It would also mean his limbs are moving much much faster than light. It doesn't really make much sense physics wise but when has physics mattered in the MCU I suppose)
Celestials can alter their size based on their needs and who they speak to. So in order to crate a galaxy, Jemiah needs to be that big probably. But Arishem needs to be smaller in order to be seen by Eternals and humans.
Alien X from Ben 10 created a universe. And his size at least 5 f taller than me. So I am confused, what makes you think that size has anything to do with this?
@@sohaibmalik6846 their size is not the point. It’s only your perception about them. But size, weight and other characteristics used by us to conceive reality is like a dress choice for them. You can see that with Ego, he even makes a human avatar of himself how he chooses.
@@sohaibmalik6846 Let's give a Marvel example. Franklin Richards is a mutant who was able to create a pocket universe ever since he was a child. He's by far not huge in size like we see the Celestials. He's only very powerful but his normal size is that of a human. But the Celestials (and even Galactus), on the other side, are entities that vary vastly in size in comics based on who they interact with. They don't need to change their size or shape, but they can do it if this helps you understand who you're talking with. In comics they've even been around 20 ft when they were talking with humans on Earth, this allowed them to be seen and didn't destroy the planet with their size. In the movie, we can see Arishem even showing a visual representation to Sersi, similar to Sprite's powers to project illusions, or with how was Thanos using the Reality Stone to show Dr. Strange how was Titan looking before. They do that in order for the audience to understand them.
Now, what I would like to share is from about 35 to 40 years ago. A Thor comic involving the Celestials. In short, the Celestials were judging the population of an alien planet. Thor had taken it upon himself to defend the planet & so took on a Celestial. The fight was an eye opener.
First off celestials being oldest beings in the marvel universe is debatable. Since Galactus is known to be, before the current universe. There was also a flash of celestials in the first Dr Strange movie.
If I was you I would read the comics especially those focused around the celestial and eternals it answers all your questions like who killed the celestial and left his head floating in space aswell as who he was and why he is significant
Now imagine a universe where billions of celestials were born. Each has to have its own unique responsibility. Somewhere in that universe is a celestial responsible for all ham sandwiches.
Eternals was not as bad as critics are saying. Yes its not the best MCU movie but not the worst. Personally I liked it. I liked the new introduction of characters and the next phase.
What I found. History. At the beginning of the universe, the dark god Knull created a symbiotic sword and used it to decapitate a Celestial. Banished into the Void, Knull used the severed head as a temporary base and a forge to refine his weapon into what would ultimately be known as All-Black.
I think it's a mistake to call Ego a Celestial. He is exstreamly old, and powerful, but, he seems to be an entirly diferent sort of being them any of the other Celestials. There's nothing about him, or what he does, or how he acts, that's like any of the others.
I wonder why the celestials didn’t try to stop Thanos cause that would’ve messed up their emergences all across the universe . They shouldn’t sent a team of eternals to stop him
If they did that then avengers vs thanos would never been aired. Sometimes you have to stop saying WHAT IF.. coz pretty much the writers already knows the possibilities of what youve said but still go on their own writing...
I’m so happy my boy Robb stark is a super hero I honestly haven’t seen him in anything i watch 2:10 since GOT was super happy for him to get this part and see him again
pretty sure the beheaded celestial was one of the many celestials killed by knulls creation of the first symbiote all-black. all-black was known to bond to different beings over time to continue his killing spree of gods in the universe.
I don’t think the infinity stones work on them Cz I think they were created by them. The reason why they never stopped Thanos I think is because they knew about it the whole time and wanted him to do it because I think it must release some cosmic thing when being used and that the celestials probably needed it for their emergence but the avengers undoing it stopped it or slowed down.
Also Thanos is actually an eternal with a deviant gene and was probably sent to go look for the infinity stones but the others never knew of him because he’s not created the same way as them
I feel like if they ever introduce Galactus, they will need a Celestial on their side. He’s too big of a threat for the MCU, he’s also a cosmic force of nature so if they do kill him he will be brought back. Maybe they can introduce the Living Tribunal to revive Galactus if he’s killed by celestials.
