Gorgeous speakers! I always thought the recessed baffles with the beveled edges looked fantastic on these speakers, now they sound as good as they look, fantastic work. Happy Birthday and congrats on the 2K subs!
Happy Birthday!!!. I love watching the care and thought you put into whichever speakers you are 'refurbishing'. I have an old pair of Ditton 15 XR,s (I think - they have the auxiliary bass radiator in them. Foam covering inside the cover long ago crumbled to dust. I still get them out of 'storage' and check they sound OK. I think tyhe sound is more than acceptable, even though I have a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze Floorstanders in use as main stereo speakers (for space reasons) and a pair of self-build Wilmslow Audio 'Badger' speakers, from a published magaxzine desing over 50 years ago, which, I think use Chartwell bass drivers (and maybe Sonaudax tweeters? Supposed to be a home build equivalent of the Spendor BC1 I think). It was all long ago, and in a galaxy far, far away. They languish in a bedroom, unused.. They sound absolutely lovely, but I can't fit them in my listening room any longer.

A graph overlay showing the different roll off with ported, infinite and open baffle would be interesting using the same drivers and cabinet / baffle dims. Also a layman’s description on the different crossover orders inc the components used? Anyway keep up the great work. One day I’ll forgive you for not doing a music demo with the Rogers Studio 1 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@theoriginalracingsnake Now there an idea. I've been designing a 1.5mt tall line array. When funds permit I'll be on that. One 12inch woofer. 10 x 100mm midbass drivers and 10 x 20mm tweeters
