if you are going to analyze your photograph mainly of the gas giants, I notice a chromatic aberration probably given by the excessive magnification as the opening of your telescope is 114 x 2 = 228x of maximum magnification, as you used a 4 mm eyepiece dividing by the focal length if has the zoom used approximately 900mm/4= 225x of amplification that is, it arrived very close to the limit of its telescope causing its chromatic aberration

Yes agreed. Thanks for the details.

People said that the eyepiece that came with the telescope were not very good so they buy a better one so the results are better

Why does everything I zoom in on look terrible unlike yours. I have have the exact same telescope as you. Any tips??
@MOLLEJA117

Get other eyepieces, a 2x or 3x barlow (Svbony makes great and relatively affordable products), don't go beyond the 270X magnification this telescope has to offer and collimate your telescope that will certainly help!

Hi... You need to first start with photography with the help of Smartphone Adapter and using all eyepieces interchangeably. Also phone optical zoom, plays an important. Sky conditions also matter, clear and transparent skies are needed for good quality planets photograph.

Did you buy some expensive eyepieces for that??

Are you saying that we need to use phone camera zoom to view planets ? It's not much of a telescope then is it ?
@SpaceArcadeIND
@SpaceArcadeIND Год назад
Hi. Not just phone camera, any camera DSLR or any other with a setting to vary exposure (ISO, Shutter Speed etc) and zooming capabilities , can give you better details and results. The same is also achieved by using planetary filters, which blocks certain colours to enhance the contrast of the planets.

Celestron 'Patience' seeker 114 is a great telescope, but the mounting was probably made by Shakiras choreographer 😉

Why is my view upside down?? 😩 does anyone know??

Hi. Reflector telescopes by default have an inverted image view. It is normal in all telescope. Some telescope come with erecting eyepieces or erecting diagonal to erect (straighten) the image.

In your opinion, what is the absolute BEST quality telescope for under $350?
@crooked-halo
@crooked-halo Год назад
Saw a used model of this for $75 and, thinking it’s a bargain, have been researching this reflector telescope. 95% of what I’ve read from telescope people is that the 114 EQ is a very low quality, almost unusable scope! I literally have a hard time finding anything positive, except from those selling or promoting it. Do your research before buying any telescope!
@crooked-halo

@user-ro6lq9ce9z "do YOUR research, BUD." I did, as can be inferred by the words in my comment "have been researching this.."

Have you found one that was better quality (for under $1000)? I thought I’d finally found a good one, but it seems I hit a snag every time I think that
@creeperjackcraft
@creeperjackcraft 11 месяцев назад
@@seapupocean4799 this guy only says 114eq. He didn't say whether if its astromaster 114eq or powerseeker 114eq. Astromaster 114eq is far worse than Powerseeker 114eq because the astromaster 114eq is a bird jones telescope, avoid the bird jones telescope.

Esté telescopio tiene sus defectos el enfocador es de muy mala calidad trae mucho juego lo que provoca una desalineacion entre el ocular y el espejo secundario el buscador es muy difícil alinearlo
