I was at this show, first time ever seeing her in concert. She was amazing. It was classy, elegant, loved there were no dancers, her fashion sense was SICK! That sleek new bob is sheer perfection. And her audience interaction was relaxed and goofy (in a good way!). I’m still hoarse from screaming along to her songs. I have an entirely newfound respect for this legend. Thank u Celine for gracing us in the ‘Ville!!!!! Come back soon y’all!!!!
Nice vid!! The “I can hear” in lying down seems so much stronger and clearer then before, much less strained. She must be recovering if not already recovered!
.La perfection Céline..juste magnifique ..en plus Cette robe est sublime.Elle brille de milles feux comme toi Chère Céline...Beautiful My Queen.I love you..🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🌹
okey so here is the setlist. It's All Coming Back to Me Now That's the Way It Is I'm Alive If You Asked Me To (Patti LaBelle cover) The Power of Love (Jennifer Rush cover) Love Can Move Mountains Beauty and the Beast (Alan Menken cover) The Prayer You're the Voice (John Farnham cover) Tous les blues sont écrits pour toi To Love You More Courage All by Myself Lying Down The Reason (Carole King cover) Because You Loved Me Let's Dance / Another One Bites The Dust / Kiss / River Deep, Mountain High / Lady Marmalade My Heart Will Go On Imagine what is live and what is lip synch ?
Its all coming back is lipped thru the c5 belt (soft ending live), because you loved me is full lipped except the audience singalong, all by myself is lipped on both the big eb5 and the last line (but not the line sandwiched between where she effortlessly nails another eb5 run), power of love only the first verse is live, my heart will go on the last verse is lipped but she hums live at the end, and to love you more is fully lipped. Honestly percentage wise she lipped less here than her last FOUR us tours. No new playbacks were created for this tour and all songs new to the stage or recently revived were performed live. That is a great feat. The playbacks otherwise have been relatively consistent career long.
@@Tcottong If she lip syncs that much and keeps it concealed, then she's by far the best lip sync artist ever. I was a few rows back close enough to see her mouth move, and her mouth PERFECTLY matched the music. Her voice had an audible crack in the "Power of Love," so I'm guessing that part was live for sure.
@@cantor7723 she has been consistent with it since 1992. Its never been because she couldn't do it, but because she chose to preserve by not doing those notes. Also, it's mostly the hits that are lipped with idea in mind that people come to hear those sounding a certain way so perfecting those is important. A song like the power of love has been done live about 15 times (mostly all during the songs release and promotion, most recently in full live was 1997) and lipped close to 2,000 currently to a track recorded in 2011. She is so good that when she sings live it is seamless to the playback.
@@Tcottong I'm a musician who owns a recording studio. The thing I was mostly talking about wasn't the notes per se; it was the quality of the sound. If I have someone come in and record a vocal one day, and then them finish the song on the second day, they can sound noticeably different, even with the same equipment settings. Splicing vocals right in the middle of a song would be very difficult to conceal to my ears live. I could hear no audible difference in this performance. Unless she takes studio equipment on the road with her, I have no idea how she does it so smoothly. The vocal tone, compression, reverb, noise gates, EQ, levels, etc. all sound identical. That's hard to do since very venue has different acoustics. We have to set the EQ for each venue. It's just hard to see how they pull it off flawlessly. That feat is more amazing than her voice for me, and her voice is unreal.
@@Tcottong There was one Céline Dion fan channel that used to do that, but one of their courage tour videos got copyright, so they removed most of them. Not sure what happened with Celinedestiny, their videos disappeared for a while, and now they’re back up again. It’s a shame because I remember there was one video that seem to have decent quality, I’m thinking maybe Columbus, but it was removed. I personally can’t find hardly anything from St. Louis or Fargo 2019.
Incorrect. The lipped eb5 is from 2008. The ending run is from 2016. The only thing from 1996 in this show is the ending sustained notes of to love you more. Otherwise this 2008 playback is the oldest. Most of the others are 2011.
@@celinedestiny4385 are you sure the all by myself ending is 2015 and not 2016? Same with show must go on. Both were not debut until several months after the others. I highly doubt they were recorded same time and sat on.
I'm really liking the new stage! Makes Céline closer to her fans. Btw, thank you to the uploader for all of your videos. They are of such great quality and sound! And her dress! It lights up!
@@laurapadisha yes i know, maybe The Venue of the recorder maybe was new to me,this is just the first time i see the Whole stage, and it looks like this. PS:THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS VIDEO!
@@sammiecutee2099 But sincerely, I love the wider screen they put on the stage, and now they projected Celine on the main screen for almost all songs. It's good for the people at the back to see Celine through the wider screen. It's the same during Porque Tu Maimes Encore in Las Vegas 2007 DVD. We need a "bigger" Celine on the Screen...
Nice try, Celine. You shorted the backing track on All By Myself and intentionally made the final run less powerful and complex, but as much as I love you, you're still lip syncing!!! That's not what live performing is supposed to be about.
You're not a singer with thousands hours of concerts and still counting whose vocal need to be preserved, so you don't have any right to judge or tell anything to her
@@ichwalaprianfadillah5120 It's very fair since I'd guess that 98% of the people in the audience have no idea that she is lip synching. I think it's very unfair that she puts on a charade that she can still since like she did at 25. If she announced before All By Myself that she would be miming, do you really think her audience would be jumping for joy in standing ovation after "hitting" the big note? Offering this as criticism doesn't make a person a "hater."
@@ryancmt the lipping has been 30% for like the past 27 years and hasn't fluctuated much. I will say i like nowadays she is lipping the hits, the required songs for casual attendees...i never liked how before she would perform random unnecessary songs and lip them. Nowadays if performing the song is a choice, she does it live, or drops it if she's unhappy. Also she still does like 17 full songs live and four others are partials which is still longer than many peoples concerts lol
