Bruno Pelletier is an AMAZING singer! If you’re curious you can check out “Miserere”, “Lune” or “Le temps des cathédrales” both last coming from the musical “Notre-Dame de Paris”.
Bonjour Jar. C'est toujours un plaisir de te voir réagir aux chansons françaises. Tu arrives à reconnaitre des mots dans les chansons, c'est génial. On sent que tu aimerais chanter avec eux.Continues à progresser en français. Je t'encourage.
I love that you get into our music in Québec :) Thank you for that and also for taking the time to understand it .You said it well « buisnessman » we say it the same way you do.We have a lot of english terms in our slang. Can’t wait to see what you’re going to discover next ! You could try Ginette Reno. She is an idol of Céline. Xxx
I hadn't heard him before, very nice voice. Celine of course is amazing. She has a great solo version of this. Lara does as well, which I like better because it's more mellow and smooth and cuts into my heart. Does every French singer do this song? Trevor is so right! That was funny.
Celine lost alot of respect from a lot of people because of her dealings with Sony Music regarding the suppression of Lara Fabian breaking into the American Market! she was regarded as to much of a threat to Celine,s Sales !! and Lara would definitely have done that !!! shes a far better singer !
Lara sings well but doesn't have that high-pitched piercing power!! she sings more muffled!! and in addition Lara will have criticized Celien Dion in 96 the 1st during the ceremony in France
This is a little bit funny. I bought the Starmania album when it was released 40 years ago, listened to it over and over like everyone else and after thousands of times, well, let's say it was enough. Like Stairway to Heaven, The Horse with no Name or Hotel California, songs I don't need or want to hear anymore. However, I'm happy to see you getting brand new enjoyment out of it. Claude Dubois was one the best songwriter around. He had no voice, was not pretty but, oh God, he could write, just like Leonard Cohen, another native son. As you probably know now, Claude Dubois did NOT write that song. Luc Plamondon and Michel Berger wrote the lyrics and music, respectively. Here is a link (audio only) to the original version when Claude Dubois was 31 years old. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--OJIUuyXkGs.html
