Celine is one of the absolute FEW high-end celebrities who hasn't changed with fame. She is 100%. Her heart and soul are pure and transparent. She's humble, grateful and has an incredible sense of humor (mostly at her own expense!) She is my favorite artist of ALL time.

It never was a secret when she performs around the world she always introduces what the song is about and who was the talented person who wrote the lyrics and composed it. For ages we do know that she does not write her own song, so many singers doesn't. Is that wired for you some people are actors and some behind are Movie directors, everyone has his own talent and bring it together, working together is that strange or lies or hidden secrets!!?? The Birds You completely missed the point. We are proud that she admits she doesn’t write the songs because a lot of artists in America claim to write their songs when most of them probably do not. They have ghost writers who write it for them and just take all the credit, so when people like Celine Dion give credit to these writers, it’s a breath of fresh air.
I feel like Ellen is judgement about how rich Celine is. In another interview together she makes a quip about her lavish ring. Celine Dion deserves every dollar she has. She's been working her whole life and she's insanely talents.

She said it right, best selling artist of all times. Her voice, her personality, her show, her career... obviously all that money is the result of all the work she has done.
Do you know how much money most celebs spend on booze, partying and drugs?? A ton. She doesn't do any of that so she has the $$ to spend on clothes/shoes/house. She works hard, she gives away to charity and she is a good parent. What more can you want? Get over yourselves.

Wtf, people? Can't she have any money now? Who are you to tell her what to do with it? Drugs maybe? She have admitted herself that she has some disvalues, such as shopping, passion for jewellery, shoes.. She's a singer, so all the clothes, footwear, luxury, beautiful house.. it makes sense. But she's one of the few celebreties who also speak about and show up the real values in this life. Just because she is famous, successful and rich doesn't mean she should feel guilty for all the problems in this world. Some of her incomings goes for charity. Do you expect her to give everything away? Of course you may argue about that she could live much more moderate life, but so could we all, me, you, your neighbour, best friend, public servants, politics, etc. So who are you to criticize.
Totally agree with you. I would add that she worked her ass off to get where she is now. Doing shoe EVERYDAY in Las Vegas for so many years. There are only a few people that would be able to do so, even great singers.
I agree. Only want to say that getting a permanent gig in Vegas has always been left to the pros that earned their stripes such as the King..Elvis, Newton, ect. The artists Vegas knows are not one hit wonders, have earned their status as legendary. So her playing Vegas is an honor. The whole world agrees, she is one of the best! agreed... sometimes we also need to give our-self some kind of rewards for what we had done successfully...so do Celine and it's her way to reward herself... the haters always just know to hated and criticized...
Celine is fearless. Super Confident. An achiever. Talented. Funny charismatic. Huge stage presence. She is the whole package of a powerful woman. Ellen looks like a baby compred. And they both know it. And celine is not giving a damn. Ellen looks washed out. She is really intimidated by Celine. Life teaches you that there is always someone who makes you feel inadequate .. No matter how big kahuna you are!

How do you know what she is really like? This is an act just like all who come on Ellen's show. Unless, you are close to her , you do not know her. Just like an actor or actress, people say they love so and so but they do not know them....they only know their acting....thats just it....ACTING.
Did anyone else notice...at the very end...I felt a twinge of jealousy from Ellen...think of it...she's sitting across from someone equal or surpassing to her talent in comedy...more money than she...stunningly beautiful with a gorgeous figure...and to top it off...she has had only one partner in her life...and she couldn't be happier!! Ever notice that Ellen's usual dialogue is in the first person...yeah...I'm sure she admires Celine...but I believe she felt a twinge of jealousy...and then again...who wouldn't???
Why does Ellen start her interview with Céline with the long hair thing AGAIN after 7 years!!!! After watching all the interviews with Céline, I came to the conclusion that Ellen just doesn't like Céline.
GAME 24 ~ I agree. There is a weird chemistry between the two of them. Ellen seems very cold , unusually so. Celine has been trained well, she knows how to do an interview and keep it light and respectful. This was just plain odd, and poor interviewing by Ellen. There’s a backstory here... but we’ll never know. I’m going to look at the more recent interview Celine did with Ellen ( after Rene’s death) and see if there was any softening. I seem to recall that it was still weird on Ellen’s part, but less so. *just watched some snippets- I actually can’t find the whole interview. Ellen is softer while giving Celine her condolences, but later when she has Celine sing some songs with colorful language, as a bit, it gets weird again. Interesting. Ellen’s reputation is as a philanthropist, and her tag line is “ Be Kind “. Ellen does A LOT for those in need.... but her reputation within the industry community is that she is difficult. ( I used to work at a major studio in Hollywood) I am in no way saying that Ellen is inauthentic.... but Celine is truly the real deal when it comes to kindness in character. Again, it’s just weird.
I think Ellen likes being #1, the most extra, and that's just impossible to do with Celine in the room. Also, Celine handles being rich so much more graciously than Ellen... maybe Ellen knows deep-down Celine has some things that Ellen can never have.
