The precision in her scats. Every. Note. And those notes have a beginning and ending. She's THAT versatile. The speed! Love how Céline becomes the song...she's the instrument.
You must listend to "brule pas tes doigts " and "quand ca balance", french jazz songs that she sang in 2003 in honore to her first song writer Eddy Marney. Theses two songs show that she could have been a wonderful jazz singer if she had decided to choose this genre of music. For me, after i listened these 2 songs, i was convince she choose the wrong style of music. Celine Dion is made for Jazz .
As one of the hugest Celine fans of life.. It shocks me that I still have not heard everything she ever recorded. And this is majestic.. If someone ever says she's not a great vocalist... they need to hear this... she could sing any era of music truly!!!!!!
she’s the best simply because she’s the most versatile female singer on this planet 🌎 everybody sticks a few styles of music but Celine has sang literally in every genre of music there is 🤷♂you got an exceptional singer to be excellent in each genre of music and Her precision of hitting and executing all those intricate "jazzy" notes gives me goosebumps! I can easily see why she was called the greatest singer in the world ❤❤❤

@@c.chouinard3282 Ah ouiii ! Je viens d'écouter, en effet, du pure jazz. Je l'avais jamais entendu chanter ces chansons. Elle est douée pour faire du scat. Magnifique. Merci 😁👍🏻
@@LXPhotographie mariah could never, sorry. Ain't no shade, she is one of the greats but just not a voice for jazz. When it comes to versatility, Celine definitely wins it out the vocal trinity.
@@stefeuphoria6086 I said in a previous reaction video that out of the vocal trinity, Celine, was the queen of musicality. Boy them Lambs and stans of other random artists tried to take my head off lol. The reality is, Celine's uncanny ability to mimic styles, instruments and genres as accurately as she does has simply NOT been done to the level and frequency as Celine has done them. Videos like this one proves that.
I just can’t see any female singers on this planet 🌎 trying to duplicate her way of saying that song you’ve got to be very very experienced to even try to try sooooo elastic with her voice and breathing 🥰👌probably one of her most difficult song that she add to sing in her career
So happy you listened to this recording . I thought it would have you all shook again and it DID! LoL Céline sang this ini her second Vegas residency. I have said it from when we were both kids in Montreal... she is a musician and her well trained voice is her instrument. She "gets" music... like few can. Even gifted musicians are often proficient in 1 maybe 2 similar genres.... she is an "idiot savant" when it comes to music. I 1st heard her live when she was 18 and I ( not just me ) could tell she really was a musician and I "predicted" she would be one of the biggest stars. In any case, I am just repeating myself but, happy you got to be all SHOOK 1 more time by the inimitable Céline. ( don't you want her to record a WHOLE Jazz album??)
I think if given the opportunity I don't think she would have sang pop music I think she can sing anything. I think she would have done great as jazz singer, a folk singer. she can do it all I think she's the most versatile of the vocal Trinity.

I've mentioned this one with the link a few weeks ago and I am thrilled that you're reacting to it. She's truly a master of all genres. Got to love her THANKS About the sounds she can produce, let me tell you she does an amazing ambulance siren 🚨
This song was part of her Vegas concert, and personally I prefer the live ending on this... Is far more impressive. But this studio version was recorded for the first version intended to her "Loved Me Back To Life" album. It was never released, as the project changed the directions. But it's amazing that we can have this masterpiece to hear now!
That's an Ella Fitzgerald tune, then Natalie Cole did a nice live version on a TV tribute to Ella. So it aint no joke, skills-wise. And peep Herbie Hancock on the piano!
I asked you via Patreon to react to her live version of this song along with Quand ça balance (Las Vegas performance) She does this and even better LIVE
If you can react to a most beautiful song sung by Celine, "I knew I loved You" composed by Ennio Morricon , she did in 2006-2007, Studio version and video of her singing the song - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4dLci21seHM.html - its epic
I can finally understand why the lambs hate on Celine. I mean Mariah albums all sound the same ever since she started making music. Celine tho, she never ceases to try something new, and she nails it every single time.
Thank you again for reacting to this!!! I’m still watching it over and over. You should check out Celine’s “I knew I loved you”. She teamed up with Quincy Jones and that song is just as impressive as this one was 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--mbOd8_CZEc.html
More Celine Dion!! Please react to her 'Taking Chances (album) Studio Sessions"...you will be amazed! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c5hUoSrfz4w.html
Hey please could you react to mariah carey fly like a bird at Pearl theatre ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B1K2cnnt9sw.html . Or mariah carey singing open arms live on top of the pops and all I want for xmas at st John the divine. That's the first time she ever sang the song ( I know xmas has passed loll but you can listen to that song any time of the year ) . Thank you
You should review Natalie Cole version first before this and then you will see the difference. She even copied getting Herbie Hancock to produce because she saw him with Natalie cole. Im just saying. Celine even gave Natalie cole a standing ovation that the whole audience did that night.
Thanks again for doing this reaction! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Check out Angelina Jordan…she will shock you for sure!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nwFloCPXzCs.html
You need to hear Natalie cole do it. She heard Natalie do it at the grammy and decided to do it. I dont like Celine version. Her scatting is so beginners she's not a Jazz Singer not in my opinion.
