@@edu4958 the musical director just revealed that gaga and aya's performance was playback while celine insisted on singing live. she wanted to prove to herself that she could do it. and she did. and regardless, playback or not, these and new 2024 vocals. shes back and no one could do it like her
I was amazed at how wonderful Celine sounded. This performance was real life example of her personal strength and her love of her craft. May God bless her.
I went to a Celine Dion concert with my fianfiancé. I’m not a fan, never been a fan. But I love live shows, especially BIG live shows from BIG artists, most of the time they are so much fun. That Celine Dion concert…the one I went to and wasn’t even a fan…. I BALLED THE WHOLE DAMN TIME. BAAAALLLEEED
I experienced that with Beyoncé. Was not a fan, got invited to her concert because my friends had an extra ticket. I was into rock & going to rock shows but let me tell you, I danced my ass off that night and become a fan by the end of her show because she put on A.SHOW. & it was an incredible experience. I’d love to see Celine ❤
I cried literally!!! I’m so glad she’s better and singing she’s been through so much health problems with stiff person syndrome and she still can overcome it!!!!
She isn't getting over it. It will keep getting worse over time. There is no cure. This took a lot of effort for her and may pay for it the next day. In a year she may not be able to sing depending on how fast it progressed. It probably will be what eventually kills her.

I have rarely seen a performance that has touched me more. You can see pain, triumph and gratitude in her eyes all at the same time. She not only transcended her own story, but also demonstrated the power of the human spirit and love 🙏 Thank you, Celine Dion 🙏

Yes, exact. She reduced the pitch. Also, She always sings differently when she sings in French. Check her songs from the beginning of her career in French. Also the French fashion way in songs requiers that she would reduce the amount of « extra » vocalize (not sure about the word in English). Because People in France don’t like it AND the song from Edith Piaf was not written to overdo / vocalize too much / scream on it. The song is focused on the text and the emotion.
She should sing "Ne Parte Pas Sans Moi" as she originally sang it im french and she won a song contest with it gaining her the legend status she have today.
Céline has an extensive discography in French, her work with Jean-Jacques Goldman is legendary in France - and her performance the other day is "just" another expression of it.

1996, she was a amazingly great technical singer. In 2024, after 10 hard last years, she got emotional deepness in his voice. She connected with 1 billion people, made us emotional. And being francophone, I always knew she sound differently in his native language, more connected to the words
I am big fan but I can feel the difference in between the purity of her voice. She is aging, and I am fine with that, she is yet still the best, incomparable.
