I was there too. Best concert I’ve ever been to - and that started with the support. Claire Richards and Josh Groban were brilliant. Celine though - words can’t describe. Absolutely class. Too good to describe. I’ll never see another gig this good. Feel blessed to have been there!
Great crowd for a true performer. She prepared her voice very well for this concert. She sang all these hard songs without letting the background singers do the heavy lifting or making the audience sing the hard parts. She stands out among her contemporaries for taking care of her voice and giving the audience a genuine experience.
She's the best singer in the world she's a great beauty no wonder L'OREAL Paris made her there ambassador it's about time that the world recognizes her beauty she's always with me in my heart of course because she's an example for all women she's strong her strength her kindness she shows to her fan who helped her through the most difficult time of her life and most of all she's determine to be the best mother for her beautiful children I love her deeply every day I have to see and listen to a few songs to start my day. Thank you Celine I needed you cause I'm going through some difficult time for the past 5 years. You don't realize how much you help people through your songs you're an example to follow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤
That's amazing! I'm so happy she still sings this song! That is the song that made me fall in love with Celine's voice. And it's still my favourite song. I can't believe it's been almost 25 years...
The song that made me fall in love insanely for Celine. It was such an privilege to be there in the audience! What an amazing performance! And that "no no no no!!!" that she doesn't always sing....Love it!!!
In 1999, Celine performed a concert at "The Sheffield Don Valley Stadium" for one night only.. Although we did not have tickets, my husband and i decided to travel to the venue and parked our car a short distance away. We then walked back to the venue and I can tell you her voice could be heard perfectly from outside and she has a totally stunning voice with a great range and power.
@Ed Seth Her voice has most certainly changed. She can't sing many of her songs in the original key (like most singers, it's not just her). I'm not judging Celine. I love her and her voice for still being able to produce amazing singles: "Ashes", "Loved Me Back to Life", etc.
@@prabhuthomas8770 Most of her songs were never performed live in the original key though. Like My Heart Will Go On was lowered a semitone right from the first live performance... It's just what... like you said... most singers do. And Think Twice has been performed in this key since like 1995... a few performances she did were in the original key and some were later on in a lower key lol. But her voice style, texture, and most of it's power is still there that she had in the 90s... it's incredible how well she's preserved her voice!
It was not a good idea watching this after i nearly broke up with my boyfriend the other night! I couldn't watch it without crying! But she sounds amazing ❤
Some people commenting here are saying that, yes, her voice has changed...but I hear no difference at all. Some say some songs are in lower keys...but some of these songs were *always* performed a few half tones lower. Like My Heart Will Go On...the year it was released, she performed it a half tone lower in some live performances. I hear no discernible difference in her voice today than back in the early-to-mid 90s. - I do agree that she has aged faster than many other women her age...but that’s largely due to genetic makeup. Some people just wrinkle and age faster than others. She has a very angular face, and I noticed aging in her neck more than a decade ago. That’s not something you can really do much about. She’s only 51 I think...and there are women over a decade older whose skin looks younger...but that doesn’t have anything to do with her vocal ability. I honestly do not hear a difference in her voice at all.
I think its more she doesn't push the notes as much as she used to. She sings softer and doesn't try to go too hard. Thats why there's a difference. She is able to maintain her voice because she doesn't try to do things that stress her voice. She has to always be ready to sing and after performing in Vegas for many years she probably had to do different techniques to keep her voice in shape for a moments notice. I don't think it has "changed" just she wants to preserve it as well as she can.
