The second guy was an asshole to call Celine that, but somewhere out there he’s telling his friends about the girl he really liked in high school, who’s friend told him she was into him, so he got up the courage to ask her out, she said yes, then she dumped him a week later because she never actually liked him at all.
How's calling her average being an a-hole? Would saying, "I'm just not that into you" any less of a letdown from your crush? The real takeaway to her story was how big of snakes girls can be to their own friends.
@@cryptidian3530 Yeah and it could have felt like shit too when your friend just stopped playing with you cause her crush is into you instead or something like that lol. Highschool was tough... i (as a guy) was also in that kind of situation too. I liked a girl in my class, but we never got closer and her friend had a crush on me too and she was cheering her on...
Or that's how he felt because not everyone is attractive to someone else? You could be super cute and still get called ugly by someone that doesn't find you attractive at all
first of all they’re using the term “traumatic” lightly, second of all our actual trauma comes from sexual abuse instead of just being rejected, and third of all this one woman’s experience is not all women’s experience. i know plenty of women who have been rejected constantly throughout life because of their appearance.
This felt like her bestfriend caused all her trauma and since boys that werent her friend were in the situation it somehow turned into her hating guys than her hating her snake of a bestfriend? 2 years later and this clip still confuses me. Being called average and getting trauma from that is insane to hear considering I've never been above average and never felt like shit if someone told me the truth.
Unfortunately this is what happens with most guys, girls get turned away by one person and guys are blamed as a whole after that. Granted the same also applies the other way around as well
