...that's actually a terrifying concept. Even in the DBZ series, Cell NEVER actually lied. He's literally the most honest character in all of Dragon Ball
@@kah2787 Lying his purposefully hiding the truth and infroming false information. He believed to be perfect therefore, he did not lie. He was mistaken.
You can tell that TFS loved Perfect Cell. Freeza they gave some good lines to, but they made fun of him too. Perfect Cell was the one making fun of people pretty much the whole time (including posthumously, as seen here).
That's because unlike Frieza who feels like he has to prove himself to his empire and army Cell just want's a worthy challenger and he finally got it Congrats Cell You Definitely did things your way I would expect no less from the voice of Alucard
@@foxymetroidthat's actually a great way to put it. He was sadistic and crazy in his imperfect form, then impatient and I'd say a bit too overconfident when he was semi-perfect but once he saw perfection he got impatient and clumsy. Hell he blew up every island except for 1 without the ability to sense 18. That was just idiotic and proves that he was too impatient and reckless to become perfect
@@jimmysmomschannel to be fair his nucleus survived him literally blowing himself up, and when goku hit cell with the instant kamehameha cell was much stronger than him at that point
Cell: Behind all that angst and ridiculous hair, there's an actual fighter. Trunks: And behind all that insufferable smarm is a dead man. Cell: Trunks, you couldn't fathom the amount of dead men behind me.
Okay, I respect your opinion of that, but let me counter with this: Cell: It's just, you're the first person to ask me "Who?" or "What?" Normally, they just ask... "Why?"
Or when a horrified Piccolo asked Cell how many people he absorbed to become so powerful, and Cell simply smirks and coldly replies, “…enough.” Chills bruh 💯
@@xukitazi444 even though the original comment should've elaborated that perfect cell didn't lie, that's actually true. Perfect Cell didn't even do a small bluff, as soon as he saw Vegeta's Final Flash he was scared out of his mind until he regenerated then he was confident about his perfect form again.
Fan made or not, TFS or not, that was the coldest, the most threatening evil line and delivery I had ever heard “why not… you do”. Like I never get over that.
Crazy how poetic/karmic it is on paper that vegeta’s son kills freeza, but in reality trunks is so far removed from it personally/emotionally cuz he has his own horrible shit going on
"Why not? You do." That is the coldest line. Cell is cutting through all the god level denial in one short breath. Doesn't matter if Frieza admits it. That thought is now in his head. And it now feeds into his deepest fear: that people will stop fearing him.
@@r.e.ospeedwagon4591 "I was being satire" are you stupid or something you can't say something wrong and then say "oh sorry it was satire" like we know thats bs
TFS genuinely writes some seriously good dialogue when they’re not making jokes. One of my favorites is during Cell vs 16, Piccolo realizes how strong Cell had become since their first fight and asks him “How many people…?”, as in, how many people had Cell absorbed? Cell, without even bothering to turn around, simply and calmly, responded with “Enough.” Best line in all of Dragon Ball to me and it’s not even official dialogue.
They talked about it in the creator commentary series on fourstarbento channel. Honestly I can't understand how anyone can hate on DBZA. It is a phenomenally superior dub interpretation
@@mikek7660I think they faced a lot of backlash from whoever owns the rights to dragon ball or even Akira himself. Plus they were apparently overworking themselves even tho episodes would come out every few months or so. But I wouldn’t know how making their abridged episodes work so it may be true
I have watched DBZ Abridged SOOO much that i have forgotten what alot of the original characters voices should like.. Shame they stopped the series after the Cell saga..
@@woo1164 just search DBZ Abridged on youtube.. that did it from the sayian saga all the way to the cell saga... as well as a few movies.. their writing is great.. and the Krillin Owned rolling count is great as well..
The closest you will get to that is the story interactions in Dragon Ball FighterZ. And i think the Dragon Ball: Super Hero confirmed that DBFZ is canon. By how much, I dont know.
That last line gives me chills. This is what happens when you disrespect Cell _and_ the one who bested him. Combine Vageta's pride and Goku's sportsmanship and you get _this!_
Never thought about this. This is actually vegetas perfect revenge. He doesn't have to get Frieza back for al that he has done to him. Trunks made sure Vegetas didnt have to make his own hands dirty 🙌🏿
I don't think anyone deserves to kill Frieza more than Vegeta does. He took Vegeta away from his father and life as a prince to be his pet and threatened to kill his father if he didn't obey him, then went and killed him anyway and used Vegeta as his minion to conquer planet after planet for him. Watch Vegetas first death scene again and tell me he doesn't deserve to kill Frieza with his own hands.
Get his hands dirty? If Robo Frieza had fought Vegeta instead of Trunks at that point in DBZ, Vegeta would’ve gotten destroyed. He wasn’t even a super saiyan at that point. Trunks didn’t spare him anything, he saved his ass 😂
"Couldn’t possibly be more embarrassing Goku’s tween offspring."-Frieza "Well, there’s always Vegeta’s teen offspring."-Cell "They won’t believe you!"-Frieza "Why not? You do."-Cell Oh, this is so good! Such an excellent villain interaction!
@@tentaplayz3691 well they defeated him in the Cell Games and Earth was spared his attempt to destroy it. Admittedly before he made into a sudden death match against Goku winning are more available avenues that simply killing cell.
@@tentaplayz3691 Cell games ended before he tried to blow the planet up though. It was effectively over when he blew up the arena and started dogging on everyone with his kids.
