Nerve cell is long because it’s function is to give signal to all the cells in the body . So to make the signal reach to a cell it is long and divided in branches . It’s length and division make its work easy and simple . Same as u said ma’am that cell’s shape is according to its function . Thanks a lot ma’am
Nerve cells are long and have branches because they need more surface area to pass the signals to cell by cell. Their branches structure helps them to receive and transfer messages, thereby helping to control and coordinate the working of different parts of the body. Thank you Mam...From Arpita Sharma

The nerve cells are not long I mean the nerve cell bodies but they have a long structure called the axon which is the longest part in the nerve cell compared to the remaining part of the cell ..it must be long as it synapses with other axons of other nerve cells or synapses with the nerve cell body itself ..whatever it synapses with ..but this is so important to transmit the nerve impulses from one nerve cell to another nerve cell
MAM you have teached me very nicely but one thing is wrong that Robert hooke observed slices of cork under a simple magnifying glass but in book its given that he had observed it by a simple microscope .
Nerve cells are shaped like long wires so they can carry messages from one end of body to other and they need more surface area to pass the signals to cell by cell.
Thank you mam ye channel nikalne ke liye aur mam aap free Mai education dete hai ye sabse acchi baat hai mam aur sab app padhane ke liye bahut pasey Lete hai Thank you mam
Cell wall is present in plant cell but not in animal cell . Why ?? Answer: it is because plant do not have skeleton whereas animals have . Therefore, cell wall is present in pc and absent in ac
@@MagnetBrainsEducation Nerve cells make up nervous tissue. A nerve cell has a long tail and short branches coming out of it . The tail too has branches . These help to carry messages from one cell to the other . The brain and spinal cord are made up of nervous tissues ....
nerve is just like a wire which transfers signals to our body and our muscles to work our brainn gives the signal which is transposed to our body and muscles
Neurons, also known as nerve cells, send and receive signals from your brain. ... Specialized projections called axons allow neurons to transmit electrical and chemical signals to other cells. Neurons can also receive these signals via rootlike extensions known as dendrites.
