Yeah, the animations add a lot of soul to the already powerful lyrics and music, wouldn't feel the same without 'em. Good shit all around.

What has happene to klayton in the past few years?

The verse at the end almost makes one wish for simpler times. 2017 indeed was such a time.

@@Bearforceone Surely many things, not least of which being the madness we're all embroiled.

@@Bearforceone Klay started moving studios just before COVID happened. Spent around 3 years trying to get setup in LA, having issues with flaky contractors not finishing his studio there, among other roadblocks. It's part of why this album took as long as it did. He's back in Detroit and seems to be doing a lot better now.

@@Fazeshyft Very, very true. 2017 was a year of great, positive change in my life, and Klayton's music, Offworld especially at the time, was often there to keep me motivated and dreaming. Different as things are now, I'm still glad we got such a powerful album in the end. I get the feeling I'll be looking back on Satellites just as fondly in some years time.

After I listened to this song, I’m definitely sure that Satellites is just End of an Empire Part 2, and I’m all here for it!

How do you know if it's slower tempo? I have a theory it could be IRIA demo reworked. Watch me be TOTALLY wrong, but you never know.

@@Jacob45678Liam Klayton has described the song as similar to stuff like Just Like You and Under My Feet. So I'm definitely expecting something slower and more emotional than the more upbeat tempo of the rest of the Satellites stuff. I love IRIA though, would love to see that finished one day. Too catchy to just remain a demo.

А по мне так очень слабо. Ну вот прям последнюю песню можно было бы сделать супер эмоциональной, раскрыть все проблемы, что человечество имеет сейчас: войны, кризисы, эгоистичность и показав все это через роботов и к чему это ведет. Вместо этого мы имеем какую-то абстракцию: что-то робот, зачем-то приземлился, куда-то идет. Ну и анимация в клипе конечно хромает. Думаю, отметят многие. По итогу альбома, ощущение, будто Клейтон уже перегорел. Можно понять его, но хочется, чтобы под конец карьеры он сделал по-настоящему народный альбом, слушая именно что свое сердце. Чтобы альбом был близок всем, чтобы это было его высказывание о всех тех противоречиях, что творятся в мире. Сейчас то самое время, как никогда, когда люди нуждаются в такой музыке и таком искусстве в целом.
