I've played cello for years and can't play it standing up. Nor can I improvise and follow the piano in any key set by the pianist. This boy's natural talent is amazing!
Cello is difficult to play - this kid has real talent. The first piece (Pachelbel's Canon in D Minor) was especially wonderful. I love Brendon's improvisation, so difficult to do well and Brendon just pulls it off every single time. He's such an amazing musician.
I don't know if you've noticed butnnDon't Look Back in Anger by Oasis sounds very similar in many ways. You could just about sing the melody on top. I wonder if that was by accident or was a copy by Oasis.
Compliment = opposite of insult Complement = to make fuller and adding it improves it (in contrast supplement means to add beyond already "full"; something that's extra and removing it doesn't decrease quality)
Another brilliant example of Brendan's abilities to assimilate his piano "magic" with the previously unknown cello player .. together they complement each other's unique ability to seamlessly make magic happen on the fly .. Congrats to each, and we need more ! Encore !!
Dr. K - "Do you know this one?" Matrick - "No - keep playing". And after 5 seconds he joins in perfectly. It still amazes me how great musicians can randomly meet and create wonderful music. It sounds like quite a musical odyssey Matrick is taking across Europe. Thank you for this video Dr. K!!
Wow! What a joy ! Brendon , you definitely attract special talent . Your very generous plan to keep spirits up globally has been very successful. Hugs from Canada
Wow!!! This duet was marvelous, magical, beautiful & soooo joyful! Thank-you Dr. K & Matrick. Matrick I wish you a safe & fun journey back home! Dr. K, you always add “sparkle” to the talent you attract! Much love to you both!❤️❤️🇨🇦
Good Morning Dr.K 🎹 Thank you so very much sharing great peace music ( Cannon D )with everyone , beautiful ". May God always take good care of you ! ❤ 🎶 11 / 17 / 2021 🎶
How amazing! I really have just realized how AWESOME a cello can sound! With Dr. k'S piano it's wonderful to listen to but I still cannot figure out how so many people can simply walk past such great artistry!
I like how you kept the cello in front of your piano work. It would have easy to just over power the lad but you kept the focus on him. Nicely done. I dropped by last Sunday hoping you were but, alas, no Dr. K. Will try again this weekend before I head back to the US.
Wow!!!+++++ What an absolute privilege to be able to watch pure magic evolve on screen. Brendan you are an amazing artist and it is always great to see how easily you interact and encourage other performers (of all levels). This was an amazing jam session and I really loved how Matrick's love and feeling for his music and cello shone through. Only 14!! Unbelievable. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for you to break into Boogie Woogie mode and to see how Matrick and his cello adapted to that style. Maybe next time? :) Thank you for bringing sunshine into the day each time you upload a video.
So awesome. So proud of the parents out there and allowing for their children to flourish and learn, and so proud of the children who want to grow and learn and appreciate the beauty of music and all things beautiful.
This video is a wonderful treat for the viewers during this holiday season. Thank you Brendan and Patrick for entertaining us with your generous gift of music. 🙏
Matrick you are amazing to play that Cello you bring it to life and make it sound beautiful just amazing and Dr K I love your piano music . It makes me feel so happy when I hear you play the music . How is your new puppy I wonder ?
Holy Fortissimo, Brendan you are exceptionally talented and such a brilliant musician. Your use of your eyes on the cello and your seasoned ears to find the correct chords is so impressive. Your ability to adapt and assimilate into this young gentleman's music is spectacular. The fact there's no tip jar or open instrument case to collect money makes these events even more special. People can stop and listen without feeling the need to show some gratuity. Even though they probably deserve some fat juicy tips.
@@MattyEngland, meanwhile, in other news, the people who actually know what they are talking about can prove the efficacy of masks in preventing transmission. But hey, carry on.
I'm saying peace, love 7 hours I've heard the music of generations. Now it's day light in South Carolina, US I shall lay my head and repeat these magical notes in my sleep.🌟💗
Brendan this is the best duo I have ever heard with you and someone else (Pachelbels 's Canon in D Minor). Thank you for your showmanship of your wonderful talent. And, any one other you come across. The old lady in Vermont
Ребята, если пропустить свой текст через Google Translate, то большая часть мира тоже получит удовольствие. Включая Брендана. Google Translate: My comment: Guys, if you run your text through Google Translate, then most of the world can enjoy it too. Including Brendan. Геннадий Ильбахтин: Great! Fabulous! Bravissimo! I really hope that someday I will see your miracle work in reality, Brendan !!! Glafir Graf: Welcome to Foggy London Константин Накцев: I have already sent many kind words to this great musician, Brendan, we have a whole orchestra in Mogilev, Belarus, they will play such jazz !!!!
The song is Cannon in D by German composer Johann Pachebel who was born in the 1600s. It just amazes me that current generations are still playing a song from the 1600s and so beautifully. Music transcends centuries, generations, and cultures. Bravo!
