This song is so painful because FKA Twigs does not care to sound perfectly beautiful. Her voice cracks throughout this song and sounds slightly off at certain parts, and that’s what makes listening to it hurt so much. It actually sounds like how you would sound if you were in pain.

@@gijibaee8627 this singer FKA twigs was in a relationship with an actor that has many adoring young women and girls as fans and they were unfairly judging the relationship and stalking them and their every move and like the song tells you it didnt end well :( this is what i have gathered so i can be wrong but i think she got even death threats? but awful bullying and thats not the shocking thing, they brought her race into it all and thats was so ugly and i cant even speak on that i get so mad... but yeah this is what i know about that :)
Sometimes I wish I could get lost in an image where my life is so much more different. So I don't have to wake up to the same life I just can't accept. I feel like I'm worth so much more, but I won't let myself accept that fact. Just a constant battle with myself.

Absolutely the most of painful thing I have heard in a while... if you have ever truly loved another without conditions....you would be so moved by this song because it strikes exactly what you wanted to say in a lost failed relationship you wanted sooooo bad.

I think it’s the strange vibe they both give off (not in a bad way). They both seem quite artistic and unique and can both hit some pretty awesome high notes haha, it would be amazing for them to sing together
@@buffalo569 Both of their voices are dripping with emotion and they don't sacrifice emotion for flawless pitch or vocals even though they both clearly could. Like the way her voice cracks and when she reaches for the higher notes she slides into them like she's crying or wailing. Kate Bush is very similar in that regard.
Hurts worse when it's unseen war of good & evil fukkin with your loved one... who could just let go of the painful feelings and let the love take us to the highest heights... but he just keeps tripping...on nothing.....
