Hi, for pleated and cellular, how much slack is allowed? Or in other words, if the shade is pulled completely taut, what would the length really be?

Does the honeycomb shade also block more light?

maybe, but really it depends more one whether you pick light filtering or blackout when you buy them. I prefer honeycomb because it's 2 layers so you can't hardly even make out shapes when looking through them, yet they they still let a lot of light in, if you pick the light filtering ones.

i dont understand why cellular shades cant have print designs on them

They can, this brand just doesn't do it and of course they wouldn't tell you "We don't but other companies do"

My guess is because the patterns wouldn't line up unless you some how applied the pattern after you made the shade and didn't start with a pattern cloth. Cellular shades are a series of short pieces cut and glued together, or at least some are.
